If asked they could have handled a fifty player raid with only ten, but when it came to managing their finances or keeping a home they were hopeless. From a young age, their daughter had the burden of making up for their deficiencies. Her mother could cook and clean, and her father held a nine to five job, but Kanbaru had to be the one to budget for food, painstakingly explain that credit cards didn't let you buy things without cost, and overall manage the family debts.

While it once may have been an excessive burden placed upon her shoulders, Kanbaru came to value the control she had over her life. She bore a disdain for the waxy eyed nostalgia that her family and many others bore for DGO, but played the game regardless when she came of age. While there was little real world value in fighting monsters, Kanbaru couldn't deny there was an appeal in playing the in-game markets to her advantage. She's since moved out of her home and into a room at Purple Crown Academy to get a decent education while securing her own autonomy.

Enterprising and with a keen eye always open for new opportunity, Kanbaru is enamored with the pursuit of economic prosperity and stability. She is a remarkably agreeable person even in the company of people she dislikes, more concerned with maintaining bridges then the catharsis of expressing disgust. Capable of turning a blind eye to some distasteful acts if it benefits her in the long run, but acknowledges that ethical behavior can have value as well.

In terms of DGO, Broker of Fortune prefers to make her way through trading goods and services or working the farms of her guild's land. Doesn't have the interest in PvP that seems to consume others beyond seeing it as an opportunity to sell her services at a mint.

In all seriousness however:

Character wise she's fine, though she feels more like an Artificer than a Healer. Life Anchor also seems more like a Witch Doctor skill than a Guardian one, though I'll let it slide since Healers need some offensive ability.

One thing I should explain is a bit of the economics of Deep Ground. While EXP is what is needed to improve one self, purchase goods in Deep Ground, and so forth, one cannot simply "trade" EXP to another. Most trades and currency are done through trade goods and battering. For example, a regular longsword may be 100 EXP, which can be used to purchase either another longsword or something of equal or lesser value, so on and so forth. You can also break down equipment into EXP for a base value, though the base value doesn't always match up to the market value.

For example, raw materials to create weapons have a base value of 5 to 10 EXP, give or take the rarity, but they can easily go much higher per unit on the market due to the sheer versatility of what one can do with raw materials. It's that sort of thing is what allows the Black City to reconstruct and even create new armaments for the walls, and typically what makes most of the weaponry one fines in Deep Ground. That being said, there isn't really a construction system to create your own equipment, but raw materials are needed to upgrade your equipment. Rarer stuff that you get from bosses also need raw materials, and often ones that aren't easy to obtain.

I'll try not to complicate the economics of Deep Ground considering that it's hardly the most stable of markets, since anything from mass genocide to a world-wide hunting event could massively fluctuate the prices of items. Just be aware that there are some intricacies. If you have any questions about it, just contact me. Or the others, but I'm mostly the one thinking about it.

I can always remove infusion and put Bastion as the Lvl 2 Ability to make it more healer-ish. As much as I liked the idea of it, I admit it doesn't scream Guardian. Though I'd still like the Life Link.

Second, when you say Raw materials, is raw material a general term for things like leather, metals, and plants, such as saying 'You need 100 Iron and 200 stone to upgrade a wall' or is Raw Material it's own thing, like 'having 50 Raw material to upgrade a weapon.'? I had been looking at KoL's notes but I think I may have confused something along the way...

@Lucius Cypher Personally, I like to think of it as the RuneScape economy. In other words, EXP is needed for literally everything and it's about as stable as America during the Great Depression.

@Lonewolf685 Honestly, I like the idea of Infusion, I just felt that it doesn't really mesh with a Guardian Healer. Perhaps a more Surgeon healer, since they're the type who relies on more external buffs like mix-and-matching equipment and stuff, though if you intend to go further into Infusions it may be best just to roll Artificer. Whatever suits your fancy.

As for the economy, can't say I've looked over KoL's notes considering that I've kept most of this information on a need-to-know basis. Anyways, the Raw Materials are like the first part: You need a certain amount of X and Y material for whatever you're looking for, though the raw material can get more specialized depending on what you need. A Fell Blade of The Dragon God King might need 20 Lich Brains and 2 Virgin Spirits, whereas a halberd might just need 30 units of Iron Ore for some reason or another. Generally a case-by-case thing.

@Mega Birb And yeah, more or less. Honestly it's more akin to Dark Souls economy, in that the currency is also the only means to strength yourself. The "Raw Materials" are like Titanite, with better or more specialized materials being in much higher demand.

Of course now that it's brought up, I may need to rehash the economy in Deep Ground. Maybe. Either way, @Lonewolf685 finalize how you want to play Broker of Fortune and we'll see if it's good to go.

@Lucius CypherI'll make Broker a Surgeon in that case. I don't care for the rogue feats, and Healer's of any sort are always needed. I'll need to think of some fitting abilities for Lvl 6 and 9, but for now I think it's workable unless there is something else needed.
