Ok, I've started the map. It's unfinished but here is what I've got so far. What do you guys think?

Ok, so since Ambra likes the map I'm going to continue making it. I don't have too much left to do other than make some lakes and rivers. I should be done later today.

Ok, I've gotten as far as I can without us actually naming these places. here is the map with just boarders. Here is the full map that I numbered for reference.

1. Northern tundra, where I would prefer starting.
2. Central plains with a southern marshland.
3. Eastern forests, the mountains serve as a protection from the cold air coming from the west warm air comes off the ocean in the south and moves north and to the east keeping the forest warmer than usual for being so far north.
4. Southern Desert, Mountains in the east and south keep water from reaching this part of the land.
5. Western Mountain Lands, self explanatory, warm/cold, wet/dry this region has the complete range of climates as it is so large.
6-7. Islands we can choose to make countries or parts of countries.

These climate areas only make sense if the planet spins such that the sun rises in the south west and sets in the north east.

Number 2 can be Sariwon. I prefer to start in plains.

Not to mention that it's nice and central so that we can move to anywhere and logically be from anywhere. Starting in a tundra means you were desperate when you moved up there.

Number 2 would be a good spot to get to the other nations but also leaves us open to attack from all sides.

Well really only from the north and west. The people in the south and east probably don't spend their time climbing mountains so getting an army over the mountains would be tough.

Eh true. But when I want to live sonewhere, the tundra really isn't an ideal place to live.
