Personality: Ciel is a serious person, to the point of passing as brooding sometimes, she has a habit of placing other people's needs before hers and absolute hates any form of injustice.

Background: Ciel's parents were part of a band of heroes who saved the land after some great evil almost ruined it. After the end of their struggle, her father was crowned king of a small territory and married her mother during the feast that marked their quest's end. Happiness came fast to them, when it was known that Ciel's mother was pregnant, but it was easily followed by a bitterweet feeling when she passed away while giving birth. Nevertheless, the people of the kingdom were overjoyed to know that the princess was born safe and sound and her father made his best to raise her properly.

Tragedy followed yet again when Ciel's father went on an expedition to quell a remant of whatever evil was it that he fought in his days past and perished by the enemy's hand. It didn't took long for the kingdom to dissolve into a sea of Chaos and Ciel was secretly sent ot the home of a an old friend to be spared of what fate might have waited her.

Powers: Since she never had the physical stamina and strength required to be a knight, Ciel trained in the magic arts as well as the use of the rapier and became a reasonably good fencer sorceress, despite her young age. That said, she still has a long way to go before mastering the deeper secrets of the arcane arts and it's connection to the mysterious red world from were the magic comes from, or the great techniques that made many swordsmen's be forever etched into legend.

Weapons: A silver cast darkwood staff bearing an unknown eldritch pattern that was a gift from an unknown old man that she met once and the "Laguna Blade" a silverish rapier with draconic motifs inherited from her mother.

Personality: Meg is a daredevil with a passion for adventure who has a tendency to jump into action with little to no time to think things though. She's also a very lively person that has a strong joie de vivre and very rarely is seen brooding or mulling things over.

Background: Meg was born at a rather non-descript family of Japanese imigrants that lived on the US, more specifically on Texas, for the better part of the previous half century and has always been fascinated with anything related to cowboys and western-like. Thus, it was no surprise that when she got old enough to start handling guns (by size, not law) she quickly took to the life bounty hunter and adventure chaser, to the expense basic skills like a big part of highschool level education.

Sometime ago, her world wanderings made her cross with a strange paralled world dipped in a rich red hue and she discovered a whole other side to society that she never knew about. With her athletic and marksmanship Meg quickly became adapted to the life of a Chaser.

Powers: While Meg doesn't have any supernatural powers she more than makes up for it with guts and skill with guns, she's also an adept practitioner of free run using her small frame and well trained muscles to her advantage.

Skills:

- Very good with all kinds of light firearms
- Adept free runner
- Adept practitioner of Wing Chun (she learned it from an old man during the time when she worked to the Triads)
- Has quite a bit of connections in the underworld

Weapons: Guns, lots o' guns. Though her favorites are a the heart of the modern days cowboys, a Colt 1911, and a Remington Model 700 bolt-action sniper rifle chambered for 7.62 mm ammunition.

Equipment: Nothing important nut her guns and clothes, since she likes to improvise with whatever she can find.

Personality: Bright, chipper, and just overall optimistic, if one were to call Solara a tomboy, she’d jokingly pound them on the shoulder before saying that they weren’t doing her enough justice. Yeah, she’s one of those girls. To be fair though, her laid-back and happy persona is normally a fresh relief to all the slaughtering going on. It usually takes something truly horrendous or traumatic to dampen Solara burning spirit and joking nature. Did we mention the laid-back attitude? Yes? Good, then now you know that it also takes something incredibly dire for Solara to be taken seriously.

Despite her initial cheery front though, she does admit that her life has been crappy so far with all the politics between Kingdoms. Only the most observant and perceptive can see through her idiotic grin. Because of her own past, Solara is dead set determined to create a future where everyone can smile freely. As such, she is usually one to put everyone, friends and allies alike, above her own well-being, sometimes ranging to levels of naivety. She is fiercely loyal to those she wants to protect and will do just about anything for them.

Just don’t screw around with her trust. Unless you want a few teeth shaved off.

Background: Ironically enough, most people tend to think of “Fox Fire” as some sort of deranged killer bent on ending all life. People usually don’t think that maybe she earned the nick-name due to her unyielding loyalty? Oh well. That makes Solara laugh every time.

Hailing from a distant nation from the west, Solara lost both her parents to bandits at a fairly early age and spent the remainder of her childhood being raised as an orphan. Most children would have caved into depression at that age, but Solara took her parent’s teachings by heart and desired to help out all that she could. Soon, she was everyone’s “big sister” at the orphanage before finally becoming old enough to wield a staff.

Soon enough, she set out on a journey to travel the lands, taking up the job as a Knight to provide constant funding to the orphanage. Unfortunately, and for whatever reason, she disbanded from that line of work. She still visits the orphanage from time to time, despite her many travels. However, war was always near, and Solara soon found a new reason to fight when news of dark forces rising spread like wildfire. Seeking to protect her adopted family from the carnage of warfare, Solara set out on a lone journey in hopes of ending the violence before it reached her home.

Powers: Apart from generating and manipulating flames, from the tiniest ember to the most violent firestorm, Solara possesses the power to collect all moisture in the area and convert it into kinetic energy, thus producing more powerful flames. Furthermore, it leaves the targeted area weakened and fatigued, causing all the effects of liquid-deprivation. That being said, rendering all of the moisture in the air is a deadly technique that is only be used as a last resort given that it affects the user just as much as the intended targets.

Skills:
- Reasonable knowledge of Magecraft
- Adept at staff combat
- Ability to summon a small, fox-like familiar
- General knowledge at various topics that she comes across while studying magic

Weapons: A staff by the name of Duster. Its features are composed entirely of hardened and purified flame and ash. Solara’s default weapon, it is also able to channel and release her fire magic to deadly proportions.

Personality: Sable generally has two expressions written on her face: neutral and frowning. Perhaps at one time she was more kind-hearted and generally less stoic. Maybe. Now though, she'd much rather just not talk to anyone at any time or anywhere.

As an assassin greatly feared throughout nations, Sable is a killer with a stone face. Often, the last thing her victims see before their passages into death are her cold visage and blank red eyes. Sable appears cold and apathetic, and to some extent she really is, only allowing her mind to focus on tasks at hand. She especially has a great hatred for nobility and the actions of her ancestors in general due to their role in the Great Wars.

Now say, perhaps she was kinder back in her past? If that were the case, one would think that maybe that more tolerable, maybe even sweeter, side of herself is just lying dormant somewhere deep inside. That makes sense, right? Maybe she's just shy. And maybe she really does feel something whenever she kills.

Background: As far as Sable is concerned, she has no past. Only the present and, if she can survive, the future as well. Most of her employers don’t care for her past transactions anyway, relying on her skills all the more. Even so, it’s rumored that she takes higher authority from an organization called the Crimson Advent.

Powers: I n terms of other powers and abilities, Sable can only rely on her physical prowess and skill with the blade. Having both an official assassin’s training as well as adapting more unorthodox methods from being an assassin at her calling aid, she is a deadly foe to fear indeed.

Sable is most adept in striking down opponents from the shadows, using camouflage and secrecy to kill her targets quickly and efficiently. Finally, Sable is a master of the sword, having honed her skills to the point where she can cut down oncoming projectiles such as arrows and even bullets.

Skills:

- Has a massive killing aura, usually used to intimidate others
- Master swordswoman
- Peak agility and stamina
- Knowledgeable about the world’s true history

Weapons: Sable carries with her a sheathed sword, much akin to a sword of Eastern descent. The weapon, nicknamed “Loveless”, is actually a specialty made from by her ancestors. It was the first of many prototypes in developing weapons which could counter the forces of magic. As such, “Loveless” is essentially a sword that feeds on magic; using magic against Sable in a fight will not bring her enemies an advantage.

Equipment: Nothing but the clothes on her back, though she carries around a dark long coat.

Other: Obviously, Sable is not her real name. Rather, it was one chosen by her shortly after her early days serving the Crimson Advent. Furthermore, it is speculated that she has a younger sister and that her title was acquired from training under someone previously known as the “Red-Eyed Ghost”.

She especially has a great hatred for nobility as well as her own ancestors for some unexplained reason.

Background: A girl who travels the world, and yet has no recollection of her past. Memories are few in between, especially in the last majority of her life. Instead, all she has to go by is a name and a strange sword. Taking up the weapon known as Volunta in hand, Bastion wanders the earth in search of purpose and identity.

Powers: None so far.

Skills:
- Inhuman reflexes and agility
- A vast knowledge of the world's true standing
- Can consume five buckets of ice cream in one sitting

Weapons: The Volunta is a Japanese chokuto with two three-barreled revolvers melded onto each side of the blade above the weapon's guard, with a dark blue coloring patterned on the hilt. The melded guns can fire off shots of gunfire and the user can slice crescent waves at the enemy. Other than that, it's retains the functions of a regular sword. It is to be noted that the Volunta Bastion uses is a false and manufactured copy. Thus, it retains the triggers of a gun and the scabbard of a blade.
