Ambrosia

It had been just a few days since the rest of the pack had finally come together, everything was going rather smoothly if the pack's very slight resident blonde had anything to say about it. Ambrosia looked out the windows of the little settlement, a sort of large communal homestead. She had finally arrived after taking refuge with her cattle about 100 miles outside of the pack's new zone. They didn't want to attract too much attention by moving in all at once. So she'd stayed with a rancher who had allowed her to keep her cattle with his own so long as she worked while she was there.

She raised a small herd of Chianina cattle the steers served as oxen for the work the horses Niall owned couldn't do. She also kept several dairy cows around so the pack would have fresh milk, cheese, and soap and other things that could be made from milk. Ambra's arms were covered in a light layer of dirt and flecks of hay from feeding the cattle. She had gotten up early to feed the cattle and Niall's horses and make sure everyone had water, despite their elevation here it would get pretty warm during the day but it was frigid at night so they kept the animals in the barn out of the cold winds.

Moving easily through the barn the slight young she-wolf pulled her hair quickly back into a bun high on the back of her head though parts fell out around her face from the shorter layers. She watched as the sun started to come over the tops of the trees that surrounded the settlement. Tonight was the full moon and there would be a massive feast and a celebration of sorts before they all shifted and ran beneath the soft light of the moon. The skies were supposed to be clear and bright tonight, nothing to impede the pull of the moon on their skin. She was vibrating just thinking about the change. Everyone would be on edge today.

She headed for the dining hall for the pack to see if there was anything she could do there to help out. Perhaps set the table and get the dishes ready. The pack was close knit and had gained a few members who were obviously a little uncomfortable with the closeness. It was kind of odd to Ambra, she had come from a close pack like this one but they had dispersed when the Alpha Pair split up, it was highly unusual but it did happen sometimes. Lycans generally mate for the duration of their life, one of the reasons they usually didn't take a mate until they were at least 35 or so, some waited even longer.
