Ari watched everything unravel in front of her. First she was firing shots at the targets that popped up around the room, hitting the majority of the targets. Then out of the corner of her eye she saw the Cassandra girl attack that Lorenzo boy, but he blocked her quickly. Ari got a strange feeling from the both of them and gripped her BB guns a little tighter. Once miss Olivia demanded all of us to freeze, Ari glanced up at her. Soon the air in the room dropped and she shivered, soon hearing that Alec boy talk. She turned her attention to him and dropped her BB guns, her hands sliding to her own. All three of them smelled the same to her. Not human.

It was simon's voice next that echoed, boomed more like, through the gym. "Oliva said HALT" his voice seemed to echo over the room, coming back to the students again and again, both instructors seeming to be at ease, but almost ready to pounce if required.

Cassandra knew it was already too late. The damage had been down. She was surer the other students knew that something was different with her, and she huddled, hugging herself, rocking slightly. She wanted out of here, needed out of here, needed to be somewhere else, anywhere else.

She missed Alec seeming to lose it, as she fought for her own control, feeling sickened and just tired. She noticed the cold though, and after a few moments that's what made her look up. Her eyes widened as he seemed to be muttering just what she had a few moments ago. Rising in one fluid motion, she reached almost instinctively for her sword, but remembered not to pick it up. Instead, she took the few steps to Alec, knowing that this could go from bad to worse in a heart beat, and knowing others would get hurt.

She wouldn't allow that to happen.

"Alec! It's okay, it's okay Alec, please, stand down! Please, please please" She said stopping a few feet from him.

Sayuri watched worriedly then when the energy from the others hit her she reeled back as Tsuki flinched digging her claws into her. Tsuki began reacting to the unexpected energy causing her to break into a cold sweat and made it hard to breath. She dropped the training sword and stumbled to the nearest exit and left the room closing the door. She slumped down next to the door so as to be easily found and began trying to gather herself, "Shit, I wasn't expecting you to react to anything in there. What was it Tsuki?' Tsuki started to relax, 'I'm not sure… It felt demonic but not completely… Almost like… They were... Half...'

Alec looked up with fear in his eyes, "Don't get to close please!!!" his voice was strained and higher pitched than normal. "I can't stop it...I don't know how to stop it!" Frost had turned his hair completely white and the air around him had dropped well below freezing, Alec looked completely terrified and embarrassed, they might not have known about her being a half demon but they knew he was and Alec knew that they would hate him for it, "I...I'm a monster..."

Lorenzo looked over at Alec and he knew that he was a half demon to. Right now he seemed to be panicking which would lead to everything getting worse but Lorenzo knew the pain he was feeling all to well. Guess that's why he did what he did next.

Lorenzo put down his sword and gun and he walked to him since he was part demon himself the chill wouldn't effect him that much, that and the cold will keep his own fires from coming out. He walked through the chill until he got to him and he hugged him your not a monster, you aren't killing in the streets because you want to. Being who you are isn't what makes you a monster is using it for your own gain that will. Calm down and cone back to us Lorenzo said gently hoping it will calm him down without Lorenzo needing to show what he was, he could just later say he had a high tolerance for cold but if he took this negativity then Lorenzo would be forced to let his flames loose

Ari kept watching from a distance, her hands shaking as she held her Walther handguns. What is going on here? This cant be happening. Theyre here. She kept thinking to herself, shaking a little more. Why. She asked herself again, her eyes wide watching the scene out in front of her.
Ari had grown up seeing smaller demons, but nothing like this. Nothing like them. They looked human, but they obviously weren't. She couldn't take her eyes off of them. Ari watched Lorenzo walk to Alec and it seemed impossible to her. The air was freezing, there was no way the air around Alec could be the same temperature.

Cassandra knew that it was already too late to stay hidden. As the situation continued, Cassandra knew that it would only get worse, especially as instinct told her that she felt threatened. Would she be able to control herself, for much longer? But Alec was in trouble, and if he didn't bring it down, then there was going to be trouble. As Lorenzo approached, Cassandra stayed back, watchful.

"Alec. If you don't calm down, you could do something You'll seriously regret. You're safe, okay? We aren't going to hurt you"

Alec flinched as Lorenzo approached, he had never wanted to hurt anyone, never wanted to be ridiculed for being what he was, but it was in this moment as Lorenzo wrapped Alec in a warm hug much like his father had done many times before, that Alec's wall that had been keeping him "safe" for so long was finally brought down. Alec stood motionless for a moment pure shock in his eyes and after a moment that look fadded as tears welled up in them and Alec began to sob burying his face into Lorenzo's shoulder, "I'm so sorry..." He choked out as he sobbed, and as he did and Lorenzo hugged him tight the frost recessed and the air in the room returned to its normal temperature, As the tears streamed his face his hair turned brown again and his eyes went back to normal, and for a moment Alec just cried, not out of embarrassment or sadness, but out of relief from something that had had been running from for years.

Lorenzo held him close then as he said sorry Lorenzo shook his head never be sorry for being you Lorenzo said softly patting his back gently letting him know it was okay to let it out. He was no monster and neither was i, we aren't monsters for being born the way we are. That's something that Lorenzo truly believed in

Olivia looked over the students and sighed, "take an early lunch. Go cool off" she said wearily, "please, pack everything up, and see you after lunch" she said, wondering if this was such a good idea after all, given on what had happened.

Ari let out the air she had been holding, loosening her stance. Lunch, that sounded good. She had time to process what had just happened. Ari put her guns back in their holsters on her hips, picking up her bag to leave. She began walking to the door in silence.

Alec breathed in softly and looked around, he had managed to ruin their training time and he felt horrible for it. Miss Olivia looked exasperated and for that Alec felt as if he had done something truly awful. His eyes softened and he looked down still held safe by Lorenzo, he breathed in softly and dried his tears, Lunch sounded like a great plan and maybe he could drown his embarrassment in hot food. "Thank you...I think I'm okay..."

Lorenzo nodded when he finally said he was okay. Lorenzo let go of the hug and patted his back twice letting him know it was okay. Once Ms. Olivia called for everyone to take lunch Lorenzo thought it was a good idea to just take a breather so they could get back on track later. However because this wasn't the lunch time for the rest of the school and only our class we were forced to have lunch either in the classroom or outside in the patios nearby. Since Lorenzo wasn't a fan of bugs flying around his food he took to going back to the classroom to eat his sandwich, it was a simple ham and cheese one so it wouldn't take him long to finish it.

As the class seemed to disperse, Cassandra waited, as Lorenzo let Alec go. She carefully approached Alec, wary, but sure that things were okay, for now. "Hey. Maybe we could talk?" The guy just looked down trodden, and in need of an ear, and perhaps some reassurance, although Cassandra didn't know how good she would be at that, as she could barely reassure herself half the time.

Sayuri stands up shakily and looks at the other students when the teachers call for lunch, 'Ah crap I forgot to bring something to eat... Guess I'll just sit around in the classroom until we get back to class...' sighing she puts the practice sword away and grabs her actual blade before heading back to the classroom nodding to Ari as she passes then stops and turns to her, "You wanna eat together Ari? Not that I have much to eat but we could talk..."

Alec looked up at her with sad eyes and a cracked soul, it was plain to see by the look in his eyes that he himself believed that even if everything worked out no one would ever trust him again. After all everyone saw what he had done and everyone knew about what he was now, Lorenzo was the only person so far who he believed wasn't going to hate him, "Um...Sure...I have some soup from home for lunch so...we can sit and talk sure..." to make matters worse she was also very pretty and he was still horribly nervous.

Cassandra gave what she hoped was a reassuring smile, and nodded. She led the way to somewhere that had no people, figuring that the whole school didn't need to know what she was going to say. "I very nearly lost control, too. Something about Miss Oliva's tone just made me think what would happen if j did, and I knew I couldn't live with myself if it happened. You're not alone. You stopped, and that's all that matters" she hesitated, staring at her gloved hand, before getting out her sandwich. "I'm one too. Except more hot, then cold" she managed a smile as if her pathetic attempt at a joke was funnier then it was."please don't be sad. Please?"

"I brought a lot if you'd like something to eat." Ari said softly to Sayuri. She smiled lightly, glad someone else made the effort to talk to her than the other way around. "Where would you like to go?" She asked as she pulled out her lunch bag. She had packed herself two sandwiches today just in case.

Lorenzo relaxed in the classroom as he simply ate his ham and cheese sandwich watching as the others splintered off to talk to eachother. Lorenzo had no real interest in talking to the others right now, he helped out that boy Alec with his snow problem and that seemed like enough for the day he would stop people from talking to him but he wasn't planning to initiate a conversation with the others while he was trying to eat and get his mind away from how anyone else but him could have frozen to death getting that close to Alec the way he was. Right now he was simply wondering when they would go back to work...

Sayuri thought for a moment before turning to head outside, "Why not outside? It's a nice day so why not enjoy it?" she leads the way outside and to one of the benches outside. Sitting down. She smiles at Sri, "Thanks for sharing. I didn't exactly have time to make or buy anything today. So... What do you wanna talk about?"
