So much fucking white... It was a stark difference to the converted aircraft hanger she lived in with its cool grey concrete, stainless steel work benches and the gold orange hue of exposed light bulbs. Taking a few steps in she wondered if they all suffered migraines at the end of their shifts from the never ending assault of white

Dusk placed her toolbag on the nearest table and retrieved her suppressed sidearm, she hadn't even bothered to look the beat down young man as her attention was drawn immediately to the far side of the room- directly to the glass encased suit.

"W-what...do you want?"

Dusk ignored him for the moment, she was too caught up. She had never seen this type of specialist armour, if you would call it that. In all her years of dealing with Scouts and the various traders and factions of the city finding it were rare for her not to have come across an item such as or even slightly resembling this fine piece of work. Surely this wasn't the suit that Amadeus had briefly mentioned in his briefing, Dusk just assumed it was just a piece of fancy body armour that New Order had made, nothing as interesting as this.

She moved towards the cabinet, studying it intently like a curious child with a pretty shelled bug, eventually she replied with her thick accent "You Hun....I'm here for you..." Gun in hand she looked back and flashed a wicked grin.

Nick leapt, pretty damn far, at the man of the Nexus. Turned out that it had been unnecessary, since the bullets hit their mark and the guy put up no resistance upon attack. Blood spelled from his legs and arm as he sprawled across the floor, the gun clattering away and against a wall on the opposite side of the room. He landed on top of him, knocking whatever wind was left out of him like fucking Mario.
"Huh, Nexus bastard don't live up to much, do they buddy?" he exclaimed, stepping of the guys chest and then proceeded to kick him in the stomach. He stached the knife away, and dropped the syringe into his pocket before he accidentally killed the guy. Then, he grabbed the guys hair and dragged him to the other side of the room, a trail of blood painting the floor behind him. Stepping over to a nearby window, he proceeded to punch the thing in a couple of time. Multiple times, in fact, and it shattered after the fourth. He pulled out his phone and called in to his suppreriors; or at least whomever answered.
"Hey, this is Nick. I have the unconscious body - I think unconscious body - of some higher up leader of the Nexus. I'm throwing him out a window, anyone wanna come... Pick him up, or something?" he said, trying to dangle the body out of the window with one hand.

After hanging up, Nick forced the body out of the window and onto a set of rubbish bags on the ground. The body bounced of and landed face down on the ground, blood still lightly pouring from the wounds. Then he jumped down after it, landing on the bags and jumping off next to the "corpse". He picked it up and began walking along the alley, towards a drop off van that he had been assigned for the body. As he strode across the alley, he took notice of everything around him. The club was completely in ruins, burning, with every spot on the floor covered with either blood or a part of somebody. The air was tinted with the scent of blood and charred flesh from people of both Nexus and New Order. It was a great loss for the resistance, that was for sure, but there were losses on both sides, without a doubt. Without realising, Nick arrived at the van and had already begun unlocking the back. Apparently no one could be trusted, so there had to be three different set of locks on the van. He pulled open the doors and picked the guy up, dumping him into the back and closing the doors again. Pulling out his phone, he once again typed in the number to his higher up.
"The guy's at the evac. Come get him." he said, ending the call and placing the phone back in his pocket. The he began walking towards the club, stepping through the hole that was once the entrance and gauging the distance from himself to the basement door. he pulled a grenade - HE - out from his jacket and flicked out the pin, before angling his arm and throwing it across the room. It flew, spinning as it went, and hit the stairs, and began to bounce downwards before coming to a rest beside the door. Nick turned and walked out as the grenade went off, demolishing the door and surrounding part of the building, hopefully killing the two girls inside as long as they hadn't escaped. That, or maybe it killed any other idiot stood there - who knew. He just kept walking, though, away, and towards the closest New Order base of operations.

SOUL Base of Operations
Kimbley

Kimbley was surrounded with bodyguards, at least ten, as he made his way to the Central Command. Each wore full body kevlar vests, bulletproof gas masks and carried large fully automatic LMGs and a backup assault rifle on their backs. In the front of the group was the man who came to fetch Kimbley - a chauffeur if you would. As they approached the door to the base, the guards in front split off to the side creating a passage for the leader to walk through, and all the guards stopped as he entered. Upon entering, Kimbley was greeted with the familiar site of the SOUL headquarters; a massive computer complex created from both stolen New Order equipment and some surviving, usable Old World parts. A man approached carrying a tablet, and began typing in a string of codes to it.
"Good afternoon sir." he said, raising his head to look and giving a short salute with his free hand.
"Same to you, Joseph. Whats been going on down there that requires my attention, then?" Kimbley replied, stepping to the side of the man to look at the tablet. On it was a report written by some New Order soldier about an attack and its statistics.
"Sir the New Order has attacked and slaughtered the Nexus Nightclub in the city. It is estimated that over three hundred people were killed during the fire fight. Apparently this may also include one higher up who was present at the time but never showed during the fight. We have also been confirming a rumour that two New Order specialised officers were on the scene." he reported, reading off a separate document that adjacent to the first on the tablet. Kimbley looked it over, reading the small parts of information from the second and the full report.
"Captain Juno Mcallister, Nickel Matrix... Processor division, files classified? Reports of refugees. Joseph, I want squad Delta to keep an eye on anybody coming up from the city. I want them brought here and placed in a cell, where I want a full background sweep and bio scan done on them. I want to know everything about them, and if I can trust them. Torture anyone we cant trust, put those we can in temporary accommodation." he replied, turning away and walking towards an office on the other side of the room.

"You hun'...I'm here for you."

Those words made him look up after the footsteps moved throughout the room, making their way over to the AM-5 suit cupboard. As he looked up, the informal southern accent flickered a hint of memory, and not one from long ago. He saw the face that he barely recognised at first, but the strange smile, the accent and the odd choice in vocabulary gave an immediate snap of light within his mind. Marcus thought, back to the bar table. It was about 3 minutes before everyone were to perish, and whatever she had done to gotten out of it must've been incredible. It was her, the woman who was beside him at the counter. The napkin must've given the correct details, and that she was clearly mad enough to follow in such dangerous territory. For some fucking reason, for someone who had literally come out of some of the most traumatising massacres of the Modern-Age, since recent purges like the 52nd Detachment's Protest Shooting, and still willing to embark on a mission, for reasons unknown to Marcus, to retrieve a man she'd literally came across once in a club...it seemed too good to be true. What if she was captured, and made to do this to see if he made any movements. Most of the camera's were in a maintenance state for the next hour or so, and that might've had something to do with everything going on now...His face slightly lit up as he raised to his feet slowly, suddenly beginning to tower over the oddly dressed individual.

"Y-you....It's....It is you! F-from the Bar! The one I...gave the warning to..." He trailed off when mentioning the Nexus Club shooting. "I...I can't believe this...U-uhhh...L-Lemme get my stuff!" He quickly began to rush around the room, seeming to be getting straight into this situation ever-so quickly. Marcus would hesitate as he rushed around his Cell, grabbing kit after kit, bringing certain items. Every so often, he'd look up at the camera in the corner of the main room, making sure it was still off for repairs in the event of being seen. This was idiotic and absolutely mad, this mission...Marcus walked up to the casing, moving in the way of the woman to dial in a keypad. The code went in: 5-3-5-1-8-3. As he stood back, it slid open and revealed the suit fully. There were small dents in certain areas, and it seemed a bit cold from the timespan between his last wearing-event and now. He began to pull the levers and push the buttons from the outside of the suit as he talked slightly, trying to not make everything, as humorous and hesitant as Marcus looked, ever-so awkward and silent. "Y-you...seemed interested in the AM-5, I-I saw..." He would stutter. "Advanced Movement Skeletal Attire...M-Mark 5, B-before you ask...Standard outfitting from the Fl-" He stopped for the minute. Marcus still wasn't sure if she was trustable, or let alone even rescuing him. It would be for the best to save the information about himself for a time when he really knew what he was getting into, and whether she was just going to use him for whatever he was. The suit chest, legs and arms opened up into a half-split down the chassis, and allowed him to step inside, after hesitantly rechecking the camera again. Once he was comfortably inside the open suit, he pressed the heel of his foot down and clenched the right fist, signalling to the compartments that it was ready to close. Tightly, it secured itself around the frame of the man, him pulling his hair out of some of the compartments after it shut. The suit was now unlocked and free to move. Marcus made his way over to the shelf, finding his damaged helmet where it was. He held it for a few moments, and looked at her once again. He made his way over and nervously held out his shaking hand from within the armour. "M-Marcus Brenada, a-and you are?"

"Yeah Hun... It's lucky'ol me" Dusk shuffled out of the way as Marcus flitted about the room talking nervously, funnily enough she felt the most calm now than she did all morning although as always she hungered for a drink, unconsciously she licked her dry lips. The spark of life brought into Marcus was refreshing, it meant he was motivated to get out of his current shithole of a residence.

An alarm sounded from Dusk's watch, it were the five minute warning for Reece's ETA. They had to make it to the roof as soon as possible. Dusk backed towards to door leaving Marcus to do what ever the hell he was doing with the suit apparatus, fascinated she took in every word he spoke but they didn't have time for a Q&A so she kept her questions to herself.

Dusk peaked through the small glass viewing window of the door, Moustache had left the door and had begun wandering around the lower level, she glanced back to Marcus who was apparently finishing suiting up, he stood with a hand extended.
"M-Marcus Brenada, a-and you are?"
Her first thought was to reply with some smart arsed quip about being busy rescuing a little lost Boy Scout but she thought better of it.
"Someone who wants to get out of here a.s.a.p" she rolled her eyes "Dusk...." She reached forward briefly shaking Marcus's cold metallic hand.
A quick glance back at the window before returning to her toolbox to retrieve a mug sized sealed copper pipe and what appeared a crudely made digital timer attached to one end. Dusk's smile faded and her tone became serious "I'll explain everything soon enough but clearly you've got some friends in high places. I've got a pick up coming, it's ETA" she checked her watch "is three minutes, we need to hustle" she fiddled with the timer on the pipe bomb a pointed it toward him "Thirty second timer on this... we need to get to the stairs under the landing and leg it up to the roof... You understand?"
