Samuel thought to himself for a few seconds. "When I fly it's never normal." he explained. "Like this one time my ship was under attack, my ship's weapons were low on ammo, so I ordered all my men to grab whatever could be used as fuel and use it as fuel. The extra kick it gave us let my ship collided into the enemies ship and we boarded it just to take their gun's ammo!" he exclaimed. Taking a quick break to finish another drink. "But those are the kinds of tales you only hear from me everyone else just knows me for my mistakes..." Samuel trailed off and staring at the empty cup in front of him. "Anyhow, what about you? Got any stories of being a surgeon?" he asked.

Aundair leaned back. "Well I saw a prostitute once who had four different sexually transmitted diseases. I had to perform a emergency surgery on someone who passed out in the street once. Turns out he had swallowed a bag of assorted drugs and it had burst open. I barely managed to save his life. Apparently a policeman was about to search him for it. Nothing that interesting though. Unless you're interested in my time at the academy." He covered his face with his hands and laughed "We did way too many ridiculous things. One time, under the influence of free time and considerably more alcohol, me and my friends stole a teacher's techie leg. It was a detachable prosthetic... we gave it back later of course, but in all fairness, it was hilarious." He placed his drink down and reached into his coat to pull out a pipe. "Do you smoke?" he asked

Cornelia had just threaded her way through the crowded bar back to Lady Callaghan's side when a man with a thick accent walked up to them and began to speak.

"'Scuse me miss," he said. "'Scuse me miss, but I didn't just 'ear you asking 'bout this vigilante character did I?" Cornelia turned to face the man. He had short black hair and wore a long coat.

Cornelia eyed him warily. He was rather muscular; strongly built, and his worn clothing made Cornelia believe that he was not a Technocrat. Besides, what Technocrat would be in the Rump and Harrow other than Lady Callaghan? And even red-haired Lady Callaghan was only there to fish for information. Cornelia decided that there would be no harm in answering him truthfully.

Cornelia pushed a wisp of her blonde hair out of her face before speaking. "As a matter of fact, I did," she answered in a neutral tone of voice, watching the man attentively and gauging his reaction. "Do you happen to know anything about the 'vigilante character'?" she questioned in what she hoped was an innocent voice, tilting her head to the side ever-so-slightly as she waited for him to reply.

Across the bar, there was quite a commotion as a man offered everyone free drinks. Cornelia raised an eyebrow; he was either already very, very, drunk, and would regret his offer in the morning, or he had a lot of money to spare and nothing to do with the money. She redirected her attention back to the man who had come up to her. It would do her no good to get distracted-and distracted by something so irrelevant as a drunk man offering to buy everybody drinks-in a moment like this.

'As a matter of fact I do miss, me and some of my associates have found a lead on him. See he killed a friend of ours not too long ago, and we're looking for a little payback. Now I don't know what you want him for, but I'm gonna guess that it's not so you can sit and have a drink with him, or am I mistaken?'

He leant on the bar as he looked at Cornelia, his eyes wary but earnest.
