The Wrath of Dragons

Introduction

For one thousand years the Great Empire ruled the world of Baelörgård. Magnataarus the Immortal presided over his divine state with justice and effectiveness. The Ministries and Senates worked as though they were an Orchestra of the Great One, and the people rejoiced with every note they sung. The good feeling, the great urging thing of the Empire seemed eternal. Alas, war came to the World. Magnataarus and his fellow Angels faded from the world. A great sorrow was felt by the angels, and without their gentle hand Baelörgård fell ill. The races of the world fell into disarray and the Great Cities banded together in alliances, the names of which are engraved with bloody picks onto history. The world was at war. At long last, the warlords and savage kings founded the eight nations. The Angel Wastes of Drunidra and the Forsaken Wastes of Drakatar were left untouched in the conflict.
