Hmm... I'll have to say the first duel missions will go off without too much trouble, everyone will be busy dealing with threats and trying to work together. Once the job(s) are done and everyone is setting up in the base the first signs of dissent will emerge as the varied personalities begin to mingle and clash. Without any actual job everyone will start to test each other, then our demon ally will direct us with one of two things. Either he will give us a job and we'll go out and do it grumbling the entire time, or he'll give us several jobs. If the latter than the party will implode as everyone has different thoughts regarding the various jobs and we'll either fraction into several smaller teams who happen to live nearby (i.e. same base) or establish a chain of command, likely through a mixture of rule of the strong and a few clever back stabs.

To be honest, I imagined none of our characters really fighting or turning on each other, more like just bitching each other out constantly, reality tv-style. 'This is the true story... of twelve supervillains... picked to live in a lair... work together and have their lives monitored by a demon... to find out what happens... when villains stop being evil... and start being real.' Maybe that's just me, though.

Oh, and I should also note that the ratio is currently 6-4 in favor of the lair job, 7-4 if Fox Blade joins them as stated he will. Did we even things out a bit too much, or did our DM in his infinite wisdom and strength, (long may he rule), want more people on the lair job?

I feel a bit bad for those taking the lair, they'll have to deal with unknown bio-weapons which can be anything from beefy L4D tank style things to minecraft creepers to mobile machine gun emplacements that could climb walls/ceilings. They will also have to do some part of this in close quarters and tight corridors. It could be a bat-cave style cave base but I would be surprised if there isn't even a single hallways they'll have to go through.

At least we mayhem causers know the most likely threats. Granted I'd be happier if we had a beefier tank considered the number of guns we will likely have to deal with.

When can we expect the final member? Not to be hasty or inconsiderate mind you I just want to see how poorly we botch our mission. Or succeed, we might be able to do that.

I am soooo happy as GM right now. Also, I am waiting for a player who is just a little slow with sending me his charachter.

I'd be inclined to say that we have enough people to move on, and any late comers will have to work around that, even if they turn up to an empty warehouse with blueberry telling them they're late.

Only saying that cause they haven't got their CS up in the Char section and we could be waiting a while.

I agree. And honestly, you can't tell me someone showing up late to the meeting for some reason or another and Blueberry insulting them for it wouldn't be amazing.

Yes, the best kind of nemesis is the kind brought into existence by the villain's actions.

Ok. So I figured I explain a little more of what you have to expect.

Mook Battle This is where you are basicly fighting the equivelent of of movie extras. You get a number of mooks you can beat. And then you garner style points from taking them out in spectacular ways. This is to encourage more colorfull writing and taking in surroundings and using them to your advantage. Mook battles are fast and brawly and FUUUUNNN. Also mayhem is generally encouraged. Consider this your chance to be properly superior to your opponents. Sometimes, I won't specify the number of mooks and just go "army of ninjas between you and Iron Shogun". At that point you get to go haywire while moving towards your goal.

A Normal Battle like the one vs the bioweapong will work pretty much as you expect it to. It is gonna take a while, but barring huge mistakes you should be fine.... I think.

Doom Battles are far more tricky. These have you fighting enemies that won't be dispatched easily. Consider these your boss battles if you will. Supervillains and Superheroes both generally belong to this catagory. Not ever Doom battle can be won. Consider the possibility of retreating!

Hmm... I get the feeling me and my friends are walking into a mook battle. Which means my character being who he is I get to flip tables bash in faces with stools and throw cards. I can hardly wait.
