Juniper

Juniper kept a steady pace, keeping beside the two males instead of in front of them but when Adam started to get antsy and speed up, she realized she was going to lose a handle on the situation if she didn't step up now. She had been moving slower for a reason and that was to make sure no little detail was missed in their search. It was better to be observant and take your time than swift and miss everything as you go. Sometimes the quickest way wasn't always the best but she understood that this might be upsetting to have other lycans so near by. She trusted her Alphas to keep the rest safe while they were on their journey around the area but they needed to stay safe themselves. She picked up the pace to be equal with the other wolf, looking over to Adam as she spoke sternly,"You are right, we would cover more ground but in the event of an ambush, sticking together has more of a chance than multiples on one. We don't know what we are dealing with here and until we do, it would be wise to stay close." Juniper's voice soon soften as she continued with what she wanted to say." I am counting on Niall and you to be there for me. This is what a true pack does, we stand by each other. I promise, I won't let anything happen to you out here and the Alpha's will have everything protected with the others. If we find another pack than I will handle it as best I can without a fight. Nothing need happen if we are lucky and if not than I will defend you both as you will both defend me. We are a team....Understand?"

The small child should have flinched when the huge beast approached her. But, she did not. She carefully pushed back by the giant bear's tongue, wiped her face and removed some of the tears that had started up. It was a small bit of comfort, however it was not a woman's touch. Her mother's touch. Niall gave her one last lick before he pulled away and joined the other adults, waiting for him.

Myst gradually grew silent as the tears continued to shed. Her body trembled while her eyes was red and puffy which caused her to cover them with her arm. The second thing she knew was of motion of being picked up and strong arms wrap around her. Myst looked up and almost whimpered. Directly above her was the bottom of pale chin of the child's alpha. Myst was sheltered up in her arms like a baby and then, she was swayed onto the side and placed onto the woman's hip. This close, she could get some sense of the woman's proportions. She was much larger than Myst, but not as big as she had appeared earlier. The woman's skin was as pale as snow but as smooth and supple as if Ambrosia had never worked a day in her life.

The next was the smell. It was rich woodsy fragrance and ancient, not exactly bad but very alien. Before long, the pale goddess gently spoke of strange words that was very unknown to the little girl. Yet, Msyt lazily rest her head upon Ambrosia weak and groggy, long forgotten the reason why she was upset.

Niall

Niall nodded easily at Juniper@Akayaofthemoon, she was pretty enough, small in some ways larger in others. She was a dandy that was for sure. "I agree with Juniper, we should stay together. If there is another wolf or wolves here we need to keep it on lock down. I hope to the Moon that there isn't any wolves out here." He fell easily into step with the much smaller female, his golden eyes brilliant against his dark face, his pink tongue lolled out of his mouth like a big dog.

Though his previous rank was that of Heir of the pack Niall found it easy enough to fall into the role of a simple pack member. It was honestly much easier than he had expected. He just did whatever everyone else did or what he was told rather than having to worry about every single tiny detail of everything he did and said because the consequences could mean the life or death of the pack that depended on him for guidance. In his own pack he had been taught from the beginning by his father that leading a pack was privilege, it was earned and because he was Heir Niall had earned his right and chosen not to take it.

His paws pressed down the soft snow beneath them when they encountered patches of what was left now that the sun was up. His ears swiveled around as he listened to all the noises of the forest around them, it was easy enough to distinguished most of the sound around him. He was loving the scenery here, it was absolutely stunning.

Ambrosia

Ambrosia carried the child easily as she moved across the snow at a blinding speed. She was pristine, a viking Queen that was unflustered even by the possible presence of another wolf. Her long blonde hair fell loose for the most part except for a few braids scattered throughout her hair. She was eerie to watch, entirely too graceful and predatory to be anything other than supernatural. Her simple linen tunic was belted around her waist beneath the thick coat she wore but she tucked the pup beneath the thick furs of her jacket.

"Look how precious dear, she is so sweet." She cooed softly, swaying slightly to let the child sleep. She weighed next to nothing with Ambrosia's strength, it was as easy as packing a purse one carried all the time. She moved to head inside the small cabin looking at the tiny cot that was still in the cabin. There were blankets on it but she was hesitant to lay the child in the blankets that smelt of a strange wolf so she pulled them away from the cot and laid out fresh blankets from one of the packs. She tucked the small girl into the bed before sitting on the edge. "If there is another wolf he will either join us or find a new home. If he refuses those I think he will not like the third option." Her plump lips peeled back at the thought of a fight.
