[OOC] The Home of the Unloved

Calling all unloved females! You have a chance of a lifetime to find Romance. And it will be paid for! You will receive a wardrobe of fine dresses, shoes, delicate under clothes and fine jewelry so that you may find a true love of your very own.
All that you must do is attend a few classes to learn Proper Etiquette, Dancing, Fan Language and more. Anything and everything will be done so that you can find Romance.
Miranda Westlake, a young widow, has inherited a large sum of money but to inherit the vast fortune, she must fulfill 5 things.
First she must take in unloved, unmarried and widowed females for a second chance at Love and Romance and the second one is that she must house, clothe and educate them.

Also we will need strong men to do construction work at the house. The mansion full of suspense for there is ghosts roaming around and a disappearance. Can the men handle the job? Will they quit after a few ‘accidents’?

If you want a job (or a good look at the females) or be turned into a young lady ready for Romance, inquire at The Home of the Unloved where you will be given a new life plus a large sum of money to start your life with.

NOTE: This is a RP set in England and the time period is 1880s-1900s. Electricity has just been placed in homes. Automobiles were on the streets, racing about at top speeds of up to 73 miles an hour in a Mercedes-Simplex! Economy is flourishing with new jobs being created. The males have a large range of selection while females have very few positions in spite of the growing economy.
Here are some of the more common jobs in London, England and surrounding area which is where we are starting at.
Farming: picking cotton, growing corn, peanuts, wheat etc and tending livestock.
Factories: Mining, mills, auto industry.
Other positions: post office, the railroad, military, radio and newspaper.
Construction work, electrician (a new position!) store owners, store clerks were other options.
Ladies were nannies, nurses, household servants, companions and the poor relation were quite common.

This is all about Romance, Dating and Finding the Right one for each person. Miranda Westlake has an inheritance with a few strings attached- all about taking in females, giving them clothes, educate them and get them ready for stepping into higher society. Males are to visit the females and if they need education or a job, she will assist them as well. They will have to stay else where but that part will be worked out case by case.

At the moment there are men working at the Home for the Unloved. She is remodeling the house she inherited......
She is a widow and is up for dating as well. She will have a very large sum of money plus investments which is something that females did not have in 1890's-1900's. Each female that successfully marries will also have a large sum of money as well.

The intro is kinda long but it has the background information of the 'poor relation' as she will be called by some of her family. Your posts only need to be a paragraph long which should give enough info that others can work off of.
I have decided to add a bit of mystery to the house. I am finding places for hidden areas. More updates in the near future!
