Gravekeeper's and Spellbooks and Prophecy stuff is just overpowered, and Konami refuses to ban more than one out of the whole freaking thing.

And I'm sorry if my whole Ignis Summoning thing in this RP effed up the game for you. I just know there are tons of times where I hear complaints like "Well if I could combine my monsters' ATK, they could beat you!" So I made the things.

nonono, I don't mind when fans make up a new form of summoning. It's when Konami does it that I'm offended. I come from a time of Synchro Summon, and try to avoid Xyz when I can ^_~

Oh, okay. And yeah, I'm about in the same boat. Didn't actually catch onto the series until GX, and I mean laaaaate GX. So by the time my siblings and I understood the rules, it was almost to the point of 5D's being introduced with their Synchro Summoning and Turbo Duels. I thought the Synchros were actually just a form of Fusion at first, then I got the new rulebook and I was like, "Ooooh, so THAT's how it works. Cool!" Anyway, I'm way past that point by now, so I understand quite a bit about the game, though I'll admit that I'm far from the greatest.

Well, I'm just about done, I think, with the first post stuff, then I'll just wait on the other people to make up their cards and stuff.

Not sure how duels will work like this, but I'm game. I've had an idea for a personal archetype for a while, so I'll get on with the CS and deck now.

All around, they work pretty much the same as if you were to set up (or rig) your Deck. I'm not going to enforce the use of an RNG, but if you want to go that route, be my guest. You basically pick and choose the cards you use and when you use them. When going against an NPC, it's easy. When against a player, you have to do a collaborative post. When we get the IC up, I'll pull up a collaborative document site to use. It's really easy.

When do we get an IC, speaking of which? If the time remaining is long enough, I'll probably end up making a third character unless rules forbid it :P

Well, I'm not worried about Rad's CS as much as I am his new cards, 'cuz neither of us can remember what he used in the original one. Anyway, you probably have enough time to make another (maybe with some invented cards this time?)

Candy

Name: Candy Deepwick

Duel Runner & Disk: Candy actually doesn't use her Duel Runner that often. For the most part, her cotton candy-blue Duel Runner is only used to get around, but it does see some use in dueling. Her Duel Disk is solid black except for a fluffy blue rim that resembles cotton candy. It tastes terrible, on that note...the Duel Disk, that is.

Bio: It's amazing what people don't notice sometimes. For instance, the Deepwick Confectionery Factory, owned by the Deepwick family. Or perhaps they don't notice it because the factory doesn't make its own brand of candy. It makes everybody else's. Needless to say, it makes for a tidy lifestyle among the family. This is, of course, including the only child of the current owner and aspiring duelist, Candy Deepwick, who may also have one of the biggest sweet tooths you'll ever come across.

Actually, her passion for dueling started with a bizarre coincidence that shouldn't have even happened. Turns out she happened to approach the right blind guy and sound just like the right person he was looking for, and received the right rare card that had the right appeal to her life story. Man-Eating Cake was her first card, which got her thinking. What if instead of humans eating food, food ate humans? Needless to say, she had a blast collecting the rest of the Man-Eating archetype (and Man-Eater Bug, but that was a mistake on her part and she promptly got rid of it) and learning how to duel. While her deck of choice may seem funny at first glance (it kind of is, given it's full of deadly desserts) there are plenty of tricks up its sleeve to make it work. However, her business propositions to her father based on her deck have - predictably enough - been turned down harshly, given not many people would bite candy that bites back.

Known Cards: Man-Eating Chocolate, Man-Eating Fondue, All-Can-Eat-You Buffet, Appetizer's Appetite

Misc. Info: Doesn't like Turbo Duels because she doesn't trust machines. Odd, given her family's livelihood depends on a factory.

I like. I'll post up the Man-Eating cards as you post them, and in their effects, I'll have to be sure to add "except 'Man-Eating Treasure Chest'." because that's not a part of this Archetype. I'll put this up in the first post and get those Man-Eating monsters pulled up there.

EDIT: Just realized that all of the monsters you posted in her CS are Extra Deck Monsters. O_o

Quick correction about their description in the main post: they're not all Level 3; there's two Level 6 Synchros and a Level 7 Ignis. I can post the whole lot here now if you want, including Spell/Trap support :)

And nah, I'm just going to post them as you use them, that way not everything you use is predictable until you've pretty much used your whole supply. It's more fun that way. It's like not releasing cards in booster packs until right before they're used in the anime (i.e.: Swift Scarecrow and Rescue Warrior).
