Hello, and thank you for responding! I like the idea of both characters and would like to ask a few questions about them.

Let's start off with Zarak! I would like to know the following things for this character:

The god that has chosen Zarak, what was their name? How about the age of the character? (Optional) As an added question, what is the main fighting style of this character?

About the Roleplay:

You were chosen from your home-world (A world of your choice/creation) to become a warrior in this world and save it from certain doom. Your abilities, if you chose to have any, are a representation of you as a person. Your abilities should represent what your character stands for, who they are, and how they will communicate with others. These abilities, believe it or not, will get you through this difficult world and back to your home-land if you so choose. The name of the world you have been summoned to is called Liria, a small planet with two moons and lots of water.
In this world, you can choose to rule it, become the most well-known hero around, or become the most hated villain in all the land. The choice is ultimately up to you, but I have a few rules when going into this world:
1- No overpowered characters. If you are good at everything, talk to me and I will find out an ability for you. Things like the death note and the power called 'wildcard' are strictly against the rules!
2- Your character absolutely must have a weakness, whether it be family, friends, their own ability, or the world around them. It could even be social interaction, but you must have a weakness.
3- You must choose a background so I can mold the world around you to your story. The reason for the background is so I can (maybe) bring in characters from it and create a logical story surrounding this.
4- Absolutely no inappropriate scenes! If it's a scene that you think will make someone else uncomfortable, do not start it. Think about what you post here and how it will affect others.

About me:

My name is Ace, I'm 17, and I absolutely love writing! It's been my dream to become a writer, but to start, I'm going to begin by starting a roleplay. I have a giant imagination, but I don't have the time to jot or draw all of my ideas down. I am hoping that with these sessions, I will become more familiar with how things should go, and be more confident with my writing!

About my character:

My character's name is Alexander (Alex) Lee Grimm and they are an assassin in the Dragon's Ember Guild. Their race is a half-elf, half-human and their age is somewhere around 23. Their birthday is, as far as they can remember, on the first of November. They are 5'6" and weigh around 310 Lbs. Their appearance is that of a medium box-shape with small, pointy ears, and pale white skin. Their haircut is a low fade with brown and their eyes are blue. Their personality is caring, hard-working, and is almost often, for the lack of a better word, stressed. Alex has a pet cat called Midnight. (Midnight is a pure black cat with green eyes.)

To know what the roleplay is about:
This roleplay is about beings, magical and non-magical, coming together in one school to learn the ways of their ancestors. This world is broken, and fixing it will be a challenge. With the help of the Treaty of Giyelm and the Headmaster's guidance, this world could be great again. Will you help this world blossom into a beautiful flower, or shrivel into nothing but dust?

My character's name is Alexander (Alex) Lee Grimm and they are the headmaster of the school. They are a half-elf, half-orc being that has been cast out of both worlds. Their age is 23, their birthday being on November 1st. They're 5'3" and weigh 249 Lbs. Their appearance is that of a medium box-shape elf with small tusks that barely come out of their mouth. Their skin tone is a pale purple, while their hair is a shaved, side-swept, white, and their eyes are blue. Their personality is caring, hard-working, and is almost often, (For the lack of a better word) stressed. Alexander has a pet snowy owl named Midnight. (Midnight is a pure white snow owl with golden eyes.)

Ember High School of Magic

They say that magic was created by the old gods, Tsukk and Jin. Tsukk, The Light Bringer, created peace, love, and creatures of light. Jin, The Rising Darkness, created war, pain, and creatures that haunt the darkness. They lived in harmony, creating their beasts to roam the world. Over the years, Jin grew angry with his brother, cursing all of his creatures with anger and destruction. Tsukk pleaded with him, begging for his reign of terror to end, but he turned his back on his brother. Tsukk, not wanting his reign to last any longer, created a being powerful enough to cage Jin in a cell far beneath the world. This creature was called an Elemental, a being of pure power. The Elementals used their magic to encage the angry god, forcing him to fall deep into the core of the world.
In the years that followed Jin's sentence, war was stricken between species. Dark and light clashed, leaving several wounded and far too many dead. Survivors of war were forced into hiding, making the young men of each species forced to fight. The elves, having no empathy, ruled over all, while the lower species, like dwarves and goblins, struggled to survive. Dwarves were often kept as slaves, being forced to mine gold for their masters; Goblins were forcibly trained to fight in wars they wanted no part of; Demons, being captured for their abilities, were sold in the black market for their blood and magic. The world was truly broken. Humans, the only species known on the planet for their lack of magic and power, were rare. Humans themselves went into hiding, shielding themselves from any dangers that came their way. There were many creatures who would try to seek out a human as a slave, but finding one was a frivolous task.
This is how the world was before the Treaty of Giyelm was signed. The Treaty of Giyelm stated that the Ember High School of Magic was 'holy ground.' There was no war, fighting, or judgement allowed at the school. The school allowed students of any species to communicate and form new friendships and alliances for the future of the world, and for themselves.

Hello everyone, my name is Ace! I'd like to start out by saying, it's been a while since the last time I roleplayed, but I want to get back into it. I won't be available every single day due to work, but I will be on whenever I'm available. The roleplays I am most looking forwards to are the following;
