Welcome!

This isn't anything you hopefully don't know, but I'm American Zombie. Feel free to call me zombie or whatever creative nickname you can think of- I'll respond to just about anything. I'm new to this site but I've been roleplaying for about six years on various different websites. I recently came off a two year break from the community to improve upon myself by taking college creative writing courses and writing on my own. So now that I'm back and starting with a clean slate, this space is for you to get to know a little bit about the person behind the characters.

So who am I?

I'm a 20 year old college student here in the states. My major is in biology and I'm hoping to become an ecologist with it. In the fall, marching band soaks up a lot of my free time so Tuedays, Thursdays, and Saturdays tend to be the busiest days for me. In case you're interested in knowing more about this, I know how to play the trombone, euphonium, and snare, and I also know how to sing without sounding like a wounded animal if that counts for something.

I also keep snakes if anyone's really curious about my personal life. I've had the ball python for about five years, and the rat snake I got in March. They really have fueled a lot of my drive to getting a degree in biology, as I really wasn't terribly interested in the natural world until I started keeping snakes. That's because he really did pull me out of the civilized casing that I a lot of us first-world folks tend to live in. I won't delve into this here, but anyone who thinks they can endure it are welcome to listen to me gush over them.

Turns out I have an entire page devoted to just that! You can find the link to it here:
