Backstory

Luna was born to a business executive and a doctor, who encouraged Luna and her sister, Lucy, to be the best and most successful versions of themselves as they could be. Luna took that to heart, and was definitely energetic self growing up. As soon as she could walk, she immediately became a handful to stay on top of. Luna was all over the place, and was often in situations and places that had people wondering how she managed to get herself there.

As she went through high school, that energy didn't falter a single bit. Though Luna had very little interest in athletics, she channeled her energy elsewhere. She spent her time goofing off whenever she could, but at the same time, she was also quite an excellent student. One moment she'd be pointing out boobs in her biology textbook, the next moment she would be scoring a perfect score on her biology exam. As a result, she managed to get herself into Cornell, where she studied and got herself a Bachelor's in Business Marketing and an MBA as well.

Now, Luna is a marketing executive, and while she enjoys a high salary, she misses something about the environment of high school. It was a no-brainer for her to accept when she received the invite to her 10 year high school reunion. She had been looking forward to seeing her old friends after such a long time.

Backstory

alyssa was born to a hot-shot contractor and an accountant who just so happened to be at the right place at the right time. alyssa's mom was temporarily assigned to her father's accounting firm and they met, quickly becoming attached to each other and eventually getting married and having alyssa and her older sister and younger brother.

alyssa's uprising was your run of the mill, average upbringing that you could have in a place like palm beach. lavish vacations taken to some exotic destinations, winters in a cabin up in new england, etc. alyssa's father always drove home the point that all of this was to be worked for, and that he earned all of this through hard work and determination -- and it was important to stay hungry and strive for better. alyssa quickly latched onto that mentality, and as she went through her schooling, she was always imposing competition onto herself, even if it was over the tiniest of things.

eventually, alyssa got herself into a good school in the university of california, los angeles, and studied architecture there. after that, she was immediately recruited to a prestigious architecture firm, popping up on their radar after receiving high marks in a challenge that they had sponsored. since then, alyssa has spent time with the firm, but she has also started to grow tired of the opportunity. her life, as good as it was, was starting to bore her. every day was the same. wake up, get ready, go to work, come home, and do the same old shit she did. day after day.

maybe coming back to her old high school reunion would spark more fire in her, and give her the motivation she needed to continue her drive... or maybe pivot down another path.
