@Binary Reign

That's definitely in keeping with the idea. There will be plenty of heroes who fight merely with fists, improvised weapons or gauntlets etc.

Alright, coolio! All done!
@Binary Reign

Both look great!

I've add a few things I (stupidly) left out of the character sheet template above which shouldn't change anything drastically - just information about weapon of choice and any particular abilities they may get from their heroic persona.

Righteous, thanks! Quick questie on that bit there, for my guy. As far as weapon of choice goes, Ned Kelly is pretty much just known for his bare-fist brawling (and using guns, but those are obviously out of the question), would that be okay to go with for the weapon? My initial thought for power was just a massive boost to durability (because of good ol' Kelly's bulletproof armor), with a little bit of strength as well to support going mano-a-mano with monsters, what're your thoughts?

Edit: Changed Heroic Persona from Māui to Ned Kelly
@Binary Reign A different character, I can see some comedic charm but I'm going to have to mull over it a bit more.

Yeah, I get that, he is a silly little Bat. Gimmie a shout when you've figured something out.
Appearance:

Personality:

Loving - Determined - Positive - Cocky

Name:

'The Radiant Bat' Kalani'mai Aliʻi (Previously, Jacques Killhelm)

Age:

21

Origin:

When he set off to sail the mighty seas, Jacques Killhelm envisioned discovering mighty uncharted lands of paradise, floating troves of treasure, and plenty of swashbuckling derring-do. Jacques Killhelm did not expect the ship he saved up to buy since he was 15 to be almost instantly destroyed in a tempest. He did not expect to float at sea for a week, desperately clutching at a wooden plank to stay afloat. He most certainly didn't expect to drift into an island surrounded by lethal spikes, and narrowly avoid a swift death by these spikes. Perhaps what Jacques least expected was to find an island filled with tribal natives who received him as a god among men. You see, there was no way for Jacques to expect that the very island he crashed on happened to worhship a demigod who looked eerily similar to Jacques himself. Though he grew up in Twin River Pass, he became a man in Kalani'mai.

Life:

After his dramatic entrance on the isle (and performing a couple 'miracles' with the limited magic he knew), Jacques was lifted up to the position of Ali'i, leader of the tribe. The islanders all believed him to be their patron demigod, so he was looked to for guidance and wisdom. With no ship and no way to build a new craft capable of traversing the spikes around the island, Jacques had no choice but to go along with it (though he certainly wasn't complaining). Jacques used brute force and magic to fix the islanders problems, and in return, the islanders provided him everything he needed. Eventually, Jacques spent enough time on the island to where he eventually began to believe he truly was the demigod as much as the islanders did.

...

"The night is dark and cold my friend. Get indoors, and The Radiant Bat will take care of the scary monsters." Spoke the young man clad mostly in body paint. He gave the child to whom he was speaking a brief pat on the head, before standing up from his kneel and pivoting in one swift motion. With a snap of his fingers, the wooden torch in his hand flared up with a bright light, revealing before him the grimaced visage of a massive boar. A sharp laugh broke the silence, followed by the gruesome crunch of breaking bones...
When The Radiant Bat awoke, it was to the lovely scent of cooked boar-flesh. He stepped out through a curtained doorway to see some of his mortals gathered around a fire, merrily feasting on the carcass of the beast slain last night. The Bat swaggered up to the group, clapping his hands on the backs of two of the men.
"Ti'pina, Ti'Kuta, how is the meat? I've heard it's got quite a bite." He said with a sharp bark of a laugh. The men laughed along, and one offered him a plate with a slab of heavily spiced boar meat.
"Will you eat with us, my Radiance?" Ti'Kuta asked, moving slightly to open a place by the fire.
"I've told you, please, call me Ali'i. No need for all that formality." The Bat said with a mockingly critical tone, before his face shifted to a somber expression. "But, I'm afraid I can't join you. The torches to the North need lighting, or the village will be vulnerable to more of this." He said, vaguely gesturing to the giant pig carcass. He smiled and clapped his hand on Ti'Kuta's shoulder when he saw the man's expression fall. "Next time, Ti'Kuta, we will feast together. Next time."

Talents:
- 1 -
Survival- From finding his way through the jungle to creating meals from what he can scavenge, The Radiant Bat is extremely skilled at adapting to harsh environments and thriving in them.

- 2 -
Morale- When serving as god to thousands of people, one develops a way with words. The Radiant Bat is no different, and has proved himself a grand leader time and time again.

- 3 -
Deceit- It is no simple task to convince an entire island that one is a demigod with tremendous powers, sent by the gods above to lead the people. It is even more difficult to convince oneself of this. The Radiant Bat is more than capable of applying this skill in everyday life.

- 4 -
Finer Things- Perhaps more of a hobby than the others, but The Radiant Bat has always had a talent in art. From ornate tattoos to carving temple walls with images of his 'deeds' he has done for the people, The Bat is both passionate and skilled at his work.

Flaws:

- 1 -
The Darkness- It's no coincidence that The Radiant Bat carries a torch with him at all times. Something about the darkness gets under his skin, to the point where he will shut down completely if in total isolation from the light.

- 2 -
Fire in the Eyes- The Radiant Bat spends days on ends staring into fires, for meditation or simply to light them. So much exposure to flame has scarred his eyes permanently. The Radiant Bat can see about sixty feet out before everything becomes a blur to him.

Combat:

The Radiant Bat has proven himself in combat time and time again. One part natural talent, one part a body weathered by a harsh environment, and a splash of magic makes him a force to be reckoned with in a fight. His mastery over magic is rather minor -he only knows one spell, which allows short bursts of extremely quick and powerful movement. He uses this in combat to make his punches hit that much harder, his jumps go that much higher, etc. While his raw force makes him a monster, his finesse lacks. Used only to fighting feral animals and the occasional tree, The Radiant Bat has no technique. All he knows is to bite and claw and punch until the other one isn't moving anymore. Though his combat style is extremely vicious, he exhibits restraint on sentient creatures: he has yet to take the life of any thinking being, and he will refuse to do so even when presented with no other options. He is especially bad at dealing with bladed weapons -he never could quite get the hang of their use, and anyone using them in a fight would surely win.
This looks super interesting!
