The official map, thus far:

Just finishing up explaining the specifics of the Republic Navy. Shame I couldn't find any more interesting Star Wars Imperial Navy-esque designs to base some battleships, frigates, etc. off of.
Heroes:

-Sol Federation
-Alleghian Republic
-Namilee

That's the New Alleghian Republic to you, bio-engineered mutant scum. The original Republic is but a distant memory, dating back many millennia ago, when many wormholes were still hydrogen-exhausted stars and the Alleghian Coalition nearly fell to the Exiles' thousands-of-years-in-the-making retaliation.

Speaking of the Exiles, for those of you who'd bothered to acquaint yourselves with the masterpiece that is the history of my humble economic juggernaut, I was wondering if any one of our civilizations might be willing to offer themselves up as identifying as those vengeful, obscure hordes. Seeing as their major proponents of genetic manipulation, neuro-chemicals, and artificial implants (or anything that goes against the pragmatism and already perfect nature of the humanoid bipedal form as envisioned by the Republic), I see the Xim as being perfect candidates, what with this also acting as a good furthering of information in relation to Sol Federation/Human/Alleghian Republic/Xim tensions.
@Brink_

How about an alliance with the X'Cor

Hmm, a civilization that places far too much of an emphasis on a meritocracy based on something as barbaric as kildcount and is a major proponent of slavery? The Republic gleefully denies the offer, and instead arms its trade and assault cruisers alike with rifles specifically fitted to tear off six appendages at once.

@Brink_ You ally with those federation pigs and we're gonna have a real problem! xD

Hmm, the Xim appear to be of too little mercantile importance and severely lack the expansionist drive necessary to be considered fit for aiding the Republic's policy of rigid internationalism at the cost of native populations' cultural and economic integrity. We gleefully accept the Federation's offer of alliance.
@Brink_

Also... is that profile picture Bernie Sanders?

Sorry to say that that's actually Warren Buffet the almighty.

The New Alleghian Republic

ooh, incidentally:

I'm calling this the treaty imposed on Jodesia in the aftermath of the Great War limiting Jodesia's military (think the Treaty of Versailles, imposed on Germany post WW1). In my head, though I'd like @Willy Vereb and @Brink_ to confirm or deny this, this would be imposed by at least one of their respective nations (along with a lost African colony)?

Definitely had something in mind that's essentially a mixture of the the Versailles and Trianon treaties. Though instead of fragmenting Jodesia into a number of territorial divisions meant to finally empower minorities of the Jodesian territory long repressed by some overbearing regime, war reparations of sizable quantity were imposed and at least some portion of land, in and around Switzerland and the northernmost stretches of Italy, was acquisition to Franco-Iberia, in addition to, as you said, some African territory that likely would've occupied some portion of the modern People's Protectorate.

Thoughts?
