While the man in the car was still really shocked from the recent events, Allison looked as calm and serious as ever.
Whatever that thing was, it took quite some hits. It could have been a vampire, but.. I am pretty sure that it was something different. Probably because of that chemical weapon? I hope there is an antidote or something like that, don't wanna end up like that guy. She leaned against the car next to the car door where the man sat. While they waited for the pick up Allison decided that she'd have a smoke until they arrived, she held the packet of cigarettes out to the man, offering him one as well. Accepting her offer he reached for one of the cigarettes with shaky hands. While she put the packet back, the man lit his cigarette and took a big pull to hopefully calm down. Then he looked at Allison and asked "H-how can you be so calm?".
After a few moments Allison replied, gazing into the distance.
"Apparently things like that are part of my job. I can't tell you everything, but I'll just leave out the sensitive topics. I've been a gun for hire for a long time now, at one point I worked for Soldier until I got back to the mercenary business again and right now I have a contract with them again. We were tracking down a target but this dirty bomb kinda fucked everything up. However you could say that contract isn't really 'stable' at the moment, since the man I was assigned to disappeared. They say it was an explosion but you can never be sure until you confirm it yourself..." "Soo you're... a Dove?"
"A what?""A Dove. You know, those that make sure that the Blood Compact is being adhered to."
"Hmm, yes you could say so, a Dove... but to be honest, there isn't much difference to my previous jobs."@Kurai AssassinJust as they finished their conversation Ashley and her team appeared. Ashley who made her way to the front stepped forward and embraced Allison, before she could even react.
"H-hey now, thats a bit too close. It's alright I am fine." After Ashley let go and stepped back she asked Allison what happened. Who sighed before she replied
"I am gonna give you the short version since this is an emergency and time is something we have not.""I was out with Mattias, trying to track down our target. Then a bomb went off somewhere and a weird black mist embraced the whole city. It seems like some kind of Biological weapon I have never seen before. Luckily I found this guy with his car which was offering us enough protection. By the time the mist cleared up but I don't know if it's gone for good or not. I haven't had mine with me this time, that bomb was bound to happen. But whatever, we were trying to keep moving but we ran out of fuel and then-" Allison paused and pointed at the corpse of the infected she'd taken care of previously.
"This guy appeared and started attacking us, it wasn't like the first infected I met. This one didn't care if I shot him, he kept going until I decapitated him. This pretty much sums it up."The virus wasn't that effective anymore, but Allison had breathed in some of it in it's weakened state. She was begining to feel a little sick, but she didn't say anything yet since it was only a little.
