I was thinking of doing dice actually for fighting enemies, but I understand that not everybody has DnD dice. But if it is okay with everyone, would you mind just using the six sided dice? I have DnD dice and know how to use them, but some people don't. If you are all okay with doing dice, then we will and I will keep it extremely simple.

I would like to have a preformed party before starting this rp so I can skip that awkward stage of running into characters. It can be a newly formed party with members that barely know each other.

There had been a siege on the castle by demon lords. The entire royal family was imprisoned and the kingdom of Borbia was being consumed by evil forces. The princess, Sera, attempted escape, only to be caught again by the dark forces

"What do you want with my kingdom and my family?!" growled the girl.

There were five demon lords in the room. One answered,"We will free your kingdom and your family, but in return, you must collect the five Crystaline Amulets. Only then will your kingdom and your family be freed."

"The Crystaline Amulets? But aren't those a myth?! How will I find them?"

The demons presented the princess with a scroll.

"This will give you hints on where to find them."

The girl studied it.

"Colier's cave...? But that's all the way in Flargon! Wait, why do you even want these amulets?!"

"Do you want to save your kingdom?"

"Well...Yes. Yes I do."

"Then good luck, Princess Sera."

Before she could say anything, Sera was teleported out of the castle by the demons. She now stood in front of it. It had a gloomy look to it now, and the skies were darker. She glanced at her scroll and sighed. She wouldn't be able to save her kingdom alone.

A Tyrant's Undoing

Jaques sneered at the merchant and crossed his arms. "It's Jaques, not peasant boy, little miss merchant. And be careful who you call no names. You are just as big a no name as you call me. I'm just trying to give some helpful advice to the princess while you rant on about-" he began a mocking voice of her,"How you need a payday-" he went back to normal,"So maybe show a little respect to her. And to the Dullahan as well, who is trying to contribute as much as she can." He turned from the merchant woman that he had taken a strong disliking to so far.

He kept his legs crossed on the wagon and looked to the dullahan woman. "I'm sorry if you haven't felt welcome..I barely know what's going on so I'm not exactly that patient with anything." He held out his hand for a handshake. "I'm Jaques, which I've probably said three times...I hope we can become well aquainted during whatever quest is about to come fourth."

Jacques took note of everything he heard. So the queen was murdered at the princess's birthday party. And now she was maybe banished for some reason by her father? Oh well, that was enough for boy to know. But at the same time, it didn't feel right to know this. Tahra was a princess in danger, and she was just giving out her identity like that? It annoyed Jaques. "Excuse me! Miss!" He spoke up.

"I apologize for interrupting, but if you are in danger you shouldn't give out your identity like that. I know that it shouldn't be in my place to tell you, but it's just a fair warning." For some peasant boy, he seemed to feel strongly about what he was saying.

Jacques had been traveling across the bank of the river at the time. He was lost, and guessed that maybe he could find a town if he followed the river. The castle was insight finally. He knew what kingdom he was in. He knew of the royal family. If he remembered right, there was a tyrant king, an Elven Queen, and a half elf Princess. He sneered. A tyrant king. Tyrant. He hated the word. It was a disgrace of a title for somebody to have. But all that mattered to him was that this kingdom was on neutral terms with his own kingdom, Morabyus, which was currently at war. He guessed it would be smart to visit the castle as a refugee and ask for assistance.

As he rehearsed what he was going to say, his train of thought left him as he heard feminine laughter, and then some conversation. Oh boy. Actual people. Something he hadn't seen in days. The young man walked faster to come upon a party of sorts. They seemed to be in conversation. He took a closer look, still keeping hidden and silent. He examined the faces. There were maybe a couple Knights? Thieves? And...The young woman. A half elf. No. What was a princess doing at the river? He guessed he should bud in now.

"Excuse me." Began the boy,"I am Jacques of Morabyus. My deepest apologies of budding, I was on my way to the castle but...Has something happened?" He was completely oblivious to the events that had followed up to this. If there was something wrong in this kingdom, he needed to know. He needed to be prepared for any dangers that surrounded him.

Background:
Mariah is a studious young healer who draws her powers from the sun. After enough time in solar range, she can use her energy to attack an enemy or heal a comrade. She studied how to earn her power from a young age. Besides using solar energy, when she hasn't enough power, she carries around a bow and arrows. Another skill she has is that she can meditate in the sun and unlock a chakra and use it to strengthen herself or a comrade. During a solar eclipse she is powerless. During a lunar eclipse is when she is most powerful. During the night, if she focuses enough, she can use some of the solar light reflected from the moon, or if she conserves her solar energy she can have a decent amount for the night or in the darkness.

She has a lot of energy, but when in darkness she gets in a very moody state. She has great respect for those who are more experienced than her. She is great at conversation and can talk for hours about almost any topic. She is a great flirt and always has a pick up line for any situation.
