CHARACTER SHEET

•Character Name: Ser Wilhelm von Urenbach

•Gender: Male

•Age: 26

•Height: 5'11

•Appearance:

•Personality:
Wilhelm works hard to come across as a graceful man with a noble demeanor. Off the battlefield, his words brim with charisma and eloquence; on the battlefield his tone is clipped, strict, and brokers no debate. He has cultivated a reputation as an honorable man, though he has demonstrated a streak of ruthlessness in his past; though nothing that goes against the code of chivalry. Wilhelm is incredibly ambitious, and possesses the utmost confidence in himself, bordering on complete arrogance. He is a cunning and opportunistic tactician, and these traits follow him off the battlefield as well. He values friendship very highly, though he holds long and sometimes petty grudges. He is extremely prideful but rarely boasts.

•Biography:(2-3 Paragraphs)
Wilhelm was born in a tavern in a town somewhere in northern Saxony. His mother was a common tavern wench and died in labor. His father, a young belted knight of twenty, took Wilhelm and left the town in grief. Wilhelm grew up on the roads, traveling with his father who was now little more than a hedge knight. They traveled from town to town for some time, his father discontent to be under the employ of some minor lord. Wilhelm was reared in the basics of swordplay and courtly etiquette by his father up until the age of seven, when his father entered the employ of the Duke of Brunswick.

There, he quickly showed promise and soon began squiring under another belted knight in the service of the Duke. He was scorned by the other squires for his common birth, and later due to jealousy of his impressive talent. By seventeen he was one of the most promising squires in the Duke's employ, well-known for his cunning mind and devilishly quick swordplay. However, things took a turn for the worse when both his Knight and father were slain in a border war with a neighboring Duke. Disillusioned with a life of courtly Knighthood, he left Brunswick for Bohemia, where he would form the first five lances of the Crimson Company.

One of these lances persist to this day, and make up some of Wilhelm's closest advisors, commanders, and friends. Initially he took small work such as reinforcing garrisons and driving out bandits, marauders and the like. However, as word spread of the professionalism of his company, he gained ever more lucrative contracts, which in turn allowed him to expand his company. Now he has set his sights on the conflict brewing in the British Isles, where he seeks what all sellswords desire: fame, fortune, and glory.

That works! And yes, that was my idea :) @Snake Face
@Snake Face A knight works fine. I would still like him to be in charge of a company of mercenaries though -- 300-500 strong. Is that alright?
Hello, would it be possible/acceptable to play as a German Mercenary Lord?
Hi everyone! Excited to begin roleplaying with you all!
