Hi, my name is Fetcher and I really like fantasy stuff.
A little about me:
- I've been roleplaying for around three years now and I'd say leaning more towards high casual, my minimum is at least 2 detailed paragraphs a reply but I can write a fair amount more if necessary, though as a rule I match posts.
- Not sure why but RPing with other guys is something I don't do unless it's in a group. Don't think I'm the only guy who's like this, though.
- My focus when I write is on characters, I always try to write consistent and genuinely interesting characters with proper back stories and personality. Never shall you have a soppy, 2-dimensional emo hero from me, he's more likely to be an utter b******.
- As a rule I play a male character- more than happy to double and have side characters that are women but roleplaying lasses isn't one of my strong suits but mostly because I've not had enough experience but well, how do you get experienced, eh? So I'm happy to try it. Just not as a main character, you wouldn't enjoy it.
- No limits, whatsoever. I'm 21 so anything goes. If you're adventurous then throw your kinks and taboo stuff at me, it's fine, I ain't gonna tell no-one. :3
- Constructing fantasy worlds is awesome and I love it, more than I ever should, so the more you can contribute to the lore the more I will love you, even if it's just name dropping a castle name you thought of I will squeal with delight. This also goes with plots, though that's a bit more necessary than delightful, I can write plots and background lore off my own steam but this really should be a two-way thing or else it won't go very far.
- I live in England but work nights so am usually around for 11pm-3am gmt (6-8 hours ahead for Americans 'n Canadians) so there may be very minor issues of sleepiness, very minor. Also I'll just reply when I can in the day anyway.
- And obviously, use proper spelling, grammar and all that, no one-liners or paragraphs that are practically extended one-liners- I'll just up sticks.
- Another thing, history is amazing and I love it with the intensity I should love actual people but they're not as interesting. If you want anything set like a certain place in a certain period of time I'll know what you're on about, if I don't I'll research it. But right now my big deals are Rome (and Byzantines), Cossacks, Colonialism and Ancient Greek stuff. You know my sweet spots now, don't hurt 'em. D:
Now bear in mind that every pairing, no matter how mundane it may seem, is gonna include fantasy. Watch out.
Also, I have firm plot ideas for quite a few pairings, said pairings shall be indicated with an *.
