Hello everyone!
I am looking for people to write with who thrive on consistent play (whether we meet up once a week, or play over e-mail messages) and enjoy writing detailed, sensory posts that average around 200+ words. This usually falls into the para/multi, novella style of writing. 3rd person perspective. Quality over quantity, of course.
I am a female writer who prefers to write for female characters in M/F romance, but will double for certain canons.
Ignorance is bliss for me when it comes to my partner's personal, real life attachments or marital/relationship status. Not because I will ever want to know or meet you outside of friendly OOC as related to the RP. It's just my eccentricity I suppose. And if it makes me uncomfortable the RP isn't enjoyable and that's what we're here for.
Usually the kind of pace I enjoy most is over messenger (with at least para), but we can talk about what we like to use. Slower mediums are fine given that you do check and use them.
I love writing with canon/canon for many series', but with the right partner and plot, I am willing to invest in a long-term original RP.
I am open to doing fantasy and modern, and anything combining the two, as far as original settings go. But please come at me with some ideas and tell me what you like. Less guessing and more RP.

I write for female characters. Ultimately, the romantic story-driven plots that I invest my time and energy in are the most memorable. But that doesn't mean we can't work plenty of nice steamy scenes in there. I tend to like 50/50 smut and story.

Story Ideas
The Modern Witch
A seemingly regular high school girl, her great aunt was fabled to be a fantastic witch of the family. Though magic and sorcery has since been outdated and ignored, one day a mischievous 'familiar' comes to her in order for her to have her rightful inheritance: an old witches abandoned and haunted manor... and him.
Widow and Werewolf
A young mother of two small children married a good-for-nothin' that took off for another woman after investing their savings into a farmstead. Now she's left with a lot of work and no way to do it. While trying to think about how to get by or close the place down, one night she nearly hits a teenager walking down the rural road in the dead of night. He's some sort of runaway, or homeless boy, just barely old enough to legally be on his own. She takes him in for a while, letting him use the barn, and he proves to be a great help to the farm, whether it's taking care of work or thieves. But he's got a big secret. And is more ferociously loyal than any old dog could ever be.
The Mermaid/Merman or Shapeshifter
I'd like to do this reversing the roles possibly, with a merman and a regular woman. Other mythical creatures paired with a regular human can also be fun.
The Android
I'd like to explore this story from an angle where the inventor manages to create one that looks, thinks, and acts like a real girl with hard questions. Or a CEO/Heir to a large biotechnology organization comes to test run one that has been developed. This is particularly good for office scenes that can happen.
The Cat
A modern fantasy where a man adopts a cat, or rather, the cat chooses him. The main catch being that said cat can shape shift into a lovely elfin-like girl. Two different ways this can be played out is 1) a hurt/comfort story of a man who is having some sort of trouble coping with an issue. Maybe a death, or tragic past, PTSD, or some sort of addiction. If we bring various drugs into it then it would be like she is a hallucination, or so he might think at first. Or, 2) it could just be simple fun and light-hearted play, trying to figure out how to think, deal, or play with a cat that changes and is like a pet of a person.
The Fighter
He’s an up and rising underground cage ring fighter. Eventually he takes notice of one of his biggest supporters: a beautiful and sweet young girl that always picks flowers for him to throw into the ring upon his victories. As he takes the time to speak and learn about her, he discovers she is an orphan that admires him for his strength and beauty in a world of ugly things where the weak are trampled upon. Perhaps he adopts her? Or finds her company and kindness an inspiration to his matches. Maybe he becomes injured one day and requires more of her help just to get by. Or he becomes someone she relies on through his dangerous line of work.
The Wounded
A powerful dark warrior/being is mortally wounded and barely manages to escape. A simple human peasant girl finds and nurses him back to health. Wherever it goes from there, goes!
The Fae
He's a fantastical/mythical being, elf, fairy, or anything else lovely, that she knew as a child. But only she could see or meet him. They could have become friends or lovers, but eventually other people were catching on that something wasn't quite right with her and took her away. Years later, when she's much older and a typical mundane adult, she thinks it must have all been her imagination after all and doesn't remember much. The medications and deprogramming have washed most of those lovely days away. She's living a boring and routine life where she's not completely happy. But now he's gotten tired of waiting for her, and starts to come back into her life by posing as a modern/mortal man just enough to blend in and reach her again. And to help her to remember.

There are a few original characters (OC) which are either based directly from the series or should be plausibly worked within an open pairing. Aside from those exceptions, I don't often mix original and series based characters in a canon RP.

I write best for female characters in heterosexual pairings, so this is what you will find here.
The following is a long list of all the series and character pairings that I would hope to deepen and explore. These are canon relationships as they are presented in various anime and games. There are a few original characters (OC) which are either based directly from the series or should be plausibly worked within an open pairing. Aside from those exceptions, I will not mix original and series based characters in a canon RP.
For both short and long-term, I prefer 2-4 paragraphs posts. I have, or can quickly create, a plot to match with any of these pairings, though the best I've found is when we can work on something collaboratively. You don't have to be an expert on any series. Just know the characters we're writing and have fun!
I always prefer playing the female role, and this will be noted on the right.

Forum: 1x1 Interest Checks
It was already past midnight and there was still a tower of dirty dishes stacked haphazardly within a soapy sink of leftovers, sauces, utensils, and soggy napkins. Joyce only stared down the neglected work with her pale blue eyes for a good three minutes before leaving the fight right where it had begun. Undone. There were still plates and forks and other such things that could be used for the remainder of the night to last until the morning rush. But for the time being, already halfway into her shift, she didn’t quite have it in her pick up the back kitchen’s slack, in addition to the front, before they had ran for the night.
The Blue Moon diner was as quiet as it ever was during the swing shift lull. It was a typical little stop decked out in rust colored tiles and tacky blue and white walls with cosmic shape cut outs in the wallpaper. A classic jukebox sat at the end of the booths, updated with more current songs and a collection of the classics that would never fade away. Out on the edges of Bakersfield just before the highway stretched until miles of eastward desert, the diner saw and served plenty of tourists, road trips, and truckers. There weren’t many regulars, unless they were business commuters, and those folks tended to keep to their four and five star establishments and hotels closer into the town.
It was so deserted most times, however, that Joyce didn’t really have the time or energy to feel paranoid. Even in light of the news and horror stories, the few hours that she was alone in the empty diner had never really bothered her even when a few people did stop in. Maybe it was the cameras, the security buttons, or that the phone was always an arm’s reach away. Or maybe she just didn’t have much to lose anymore at thirty-seven, no children, and recently divorced. Whatever it was, it was quiet again, the last song having finished half an hour ago. And so once she left the dishes on their own, the woman went back out to put in more quarters and pick another set of songs for herself before the next customer.

I am looking for people to write with who thrive on both frequent replies (as in multiple per day or even hour) and enjoy writing detailed, sensory posts that average around 200+ words. This usually falls into the para/multi, novella style of writing. 3rd person perspective. Quality over quantity, of course.
I am a female writer who prefers to write for female characters in M/F romance, but will double for certain canons. Here's an idea of what I'm looking for and what to expect from me from the middle of one of my other RPs:
Usually the kind of pace I'm looking for is great over messenger (with at least para), and we can talk about what we like to use, but slower mediums are fine given that you do check and use them often.
I love writing with canon/canon for many series' listed below, but with the right partner and plot, I am willing to invest in a long-term original RP.
My only caveat is no smut (will fade to black, but kissing, tension, touching to an extent, is okay).
I am open to doing fantasy and modern, and anything combining the two, as far as original settings go. But please come at me with some ideas and tell me what you like. Less guessing and more RP. Some themes I have been interested in currently are:
Arranged marriage
Love triangle (a woman and two brothers/twins/best friends/etc.)
Mermaid/Human

Perhaps it was typical, excessive, and quite dull. But she made the best of it. A small chamber orchestra played popular ballad and waltz, the dance floor blooming with the pastel skirts of whirling couples. A low hum of conversation buzzed in the room, punctuated by well rehearsed laughter. Banquet tables spanned the endless marble ballroom. Upon them sprawled red satin cloth, and upon that: exotic flora, colorfully assorted vegetables, and sparkling sugared pastries adorning silver platters and ivory towers. All were edible, though a difference of taste might have argued in exchanges of enlightened small talk. There were chairs along the walls but no chairs at the tables, of course, as it was not a dinner party. Guests were expected to mingle, to gossip, to get to know one another, however superficial.
A social party. She had attended many, and perhaps even attended at very least once a month by the bidding of her persistent father. For even though her family was of the nobility by blood, there was still a long ladder to climb in both purity of pedigree and prestige. Herself, she had no such ambition for a well-to-do future in the upper class, but she did possess something. Fidelity, love, and respect towards her own family and others. And so, no matter how tiresome the parties, the false smiles and laughter, the egocentric noblemen and women, she attended by the bidding of society and her doting father. But she was always kind and genuine.
That night's host, the Maven family, was distinguished among the aristocracy as a staunch supporter of the Tourmalin Kingdom. They had made significant donations to the bureaucracy and many charities, their wealth having been amassed from an investment of land and properties. They were an old family, with many branches within their tree and just as many secrets and rumors of treachery, all covered beneath a veil of lies, truth, and of course, money. It was actually common knowledge, though nothing would be spoken outright by etiquette. Besides, their secrets were no more or less than others in the same class.
Given their investment and interests in Tourmalin, however, it was only expected that they invite the prince of said kingdom. It was already common knowledge that Prince Etinos was elusive, but that did not stop anyone from trying and throwing a grand ball regardless. Perhaps, one day, he would make an appearance. In the meantime the elite would have their parties and excess, and tolerate those the Prince sent in his place in hopes that he might someday grace them with his presence, personally.
"Lady Fern! Althea! Did you see him? The prince's stand-in. That knight. Over there, over there!! You can't miss him." A flippant brown woman asked her in a voice of excitement and scorn. She hid behind her blue fan to cover her lips, for one never knew who might be reading them. But many already knew of Leticia's ability to speak thoughtlessly. "Oh drat, he's already moved on. I wonder who has to greet and dance with him next? How embarrassing-- I don't understand how a pure bred prince could send someone so low in his place....Even if he does have a pretty face I can't get over that dreadful peassant!"
"Please stop muttering, Lady Kaboch, it makes the chocolate taste bittersweet," Althea quietly responded, though her emerald eyes did happen to glance in her friend's proffered direction.
Leticia's commentary was no more rude or outspoken than the rest of the murmurs that ran through the hall since the Knight of Tourmalin's arrival. Althea often avoided such base conversations. They bored and frustrated her. But from what others told her, the negativity was nothing compared to the days before his knighting. As a knight, people could no longer outwardly, obnoxiously, remark about him without breaching the unwritten rules of etiquette. It was much like a game.
"The Knight called Edison?" Althea mused, brushing back a gold ringlet of hair by her cheek where it had escaped the tightly coiffed bun, "He's next on my dance card."
"What a pity. Then, I'll see you later my dear." Feigning closeness, Leticia kissed the air beside her cheeks and without further ado sauntered off to mingle with another small clique.
Tucking her card back into the fold of of her lavender glove, its color of course matching her ball gown, Althea hurried to the short line along the waiting edge of the ballroom floor, the slow concerto slowly coming to a close.
