Jake walked into the school. He was given his schedule early, and found out that he had Contemporary US Studies, one of his honor classes. If Jake wasn't a musician at heart, he would be a history teacher. He found his way to the class, being a minute late.
"Hey there! I'm guessing you're Jake?" A man in his late 20s said this.
"Yeah. Sorry about being late, it won't happen again." He said this and sat down.
"It's ok, haha. I know you just moved here." The man laughed a bit as he said that. "Nice shirt, by the way." The man pulled up a PowerPoint, and explained the class.
"My name, if you haven't had me, is Mr. Weber..."
Oh, I have to ask: Are side-characters allowed? I've added two best friends of my character so I'm wondering if I should change that. I just thought since he's a douche and most of the characters are 'of different stock' he probably wouldn't hang out with them at first, but he's a popular jock nonetheless he'd still have some friends to talk to.Yeah man, that's cool.

I also googled the school and it brought me to New York so I assume the high school is based on the real deal? By the way, Minnesota's fine, Michigan is where it's at.
