At a young age, Julian witnessed the kidnapping of his twin brother Elias. While his brother was eventually found and returned home, their parents never acknowledged the horrors their son had been through, even going so far as to separate Julian from his newly returned brother until they deemed Elias to be 'normal' again. Julian despised his parents for this, never truly forgiving them for it.
After this, Julian was distrustful of anyone other than his brother, never getting close to anyone else throughout the rest of his school days. Angry at how his parents had treated his brother in their youth, as soon as him and Elias were 18, he convinced his brother to leave home with him with the money he'd been saving up from odd jobs around town for the past few years. They found a cheap apartment in Fortehaven and have been living there ever since.
These days Julian works as a prostitute and a drag queen at a local bar. He's not happy with his brother's reckless behavior, but he'd NEVER abandon his brother, no matter what the cost to himself.
