Destin glances around before ducking into a tent a ways down the line. He glances inside to make sure no one had claimed it. He sets Aya gently on the cot, taking the blanket off. He grins. "Hey." He says quietly, before sitting on the cot next to her. "I can't believe you came!" He says happily.

Aya shifts to a human the moment he puts her down and jumps up to grasp him in a tight hug. "I'm so glad you're safe!" She says with as much excitement a hushed voice could muster. "And of course I came for you, you're my friend. Plus, you're a Rabin. There's no way a fellow Rabin would ever get left behind." She points to the entrance of the tent. "Kianna and Sacha came too. We're going to get you out of here."

Destin turns his head, hearing a small noise as the chair was moved slightly. He coughs to cover it up, before slowly going over to the chair. He kneels down and looks down underneath of it. His eyes widen, seeing Aya. He glances back to the herb stores. He then turns his attention back to Aya. He gives her a small smile. "Hey Elauna, I'm going to grab some food, I'll be back in a second okay?"

"Yeah yeah grab me something too!" Elauna calls out to him.

Destin nods. "Will do!" He reaches under the chair and gently pulls Aya out. He hugs her to his chest and grabs a small blanket and sets it over her before hurrying out of the tent.

Aya didn't make a noise as Destin scooped her up and stayed similarly silent as he took her outside the tent. She couldn't be sure where they were or how many Broms were nearby. She hoped that he was going somewhere nobody would see the two of them. Given that he couldn't leave the camp, probably his tent?

Destin turns his head at a noise. He looks towards the herb stores. "Hey Elauna, how's it going in there?" He calls out to the healer-in-training.

"I'm doing fine, almost got all the burnt herbs out of here!" Elauna calls back, before sneezing. "It's so damn stuffy back here!" She shouts, cursing again. "Fucking herb smells."

Destin sighs, shaking his head. "I guess you'll just have to get used to that..."

At the sound of Elauna's voice Aya dashes behind a chair in the medicine tent. She should have seen this coming... Of course Elauna was here. What should she do? Sacha hadn't told her to make contact with Destin, but she just wanted to speak to him for only a moment. She sighs inwardly, thinking of some way to distract Elauna. It wasn't like the other healer was with Destin at the moment. Maybe if he could just see her? She pokes her head out from behind the chair.

Destin was sitting on a cot, head in his hands. Elauna wasn't to be seen. He sighs softly, tears rolling down his cheeks. "I'm never going to get to leave..." He whispers sadly, crying quietly. He composes himself after a few moments, wiping his hand across his eyes as though anticipating someone coming inside.

Although it had been unlikely that Destin would be anywhere other than the medicine tent, it was still a huge relief to have him in her sights. All she wanted to do was to fly him out of here. She glances at her talons for a moment, wondering if she could physically do that... No, it would be too risky. Plus the Broms would certainly know where Destin had escaped to. Then they'd just take him again! The look on his face was heartbreaking. There was no way she was just going to leave without assuring him help was coming. She sneaks into the tent.

Sacha hesitates. "Aya, can you fly over the camp and look for him without being seen?" She whispers. "See if you can get close enough to the Healer's tent to look inside. But do not be seen." She orders, dropping down to land next to Kianna. "I want you to keep watch for anyone nearing the camp from the forest."

"I'll do my best, Sacha." Espionage was hardly Aya's typical job, but it couldn't be so hard. She just needed to swoop into the tent when nobody was looking. She hoped Elauna wasn't inside. She jumps from the branch to the camp ground, hiding behind a random tent. At least the medicine tent wasn't too far from her and was obvious from its size. After making sure that her advance would go unnoticed by the various Broms enjoying the fresh air, she scuttles across the ground to the entrance of the medicine tent and peeks inside.
Aya could see plenty of Broms whom she didn't recognise, which was unsurprising given her tendency to keep away from the border before she met Destin. Speaking of the ocelot shifter, as far as she could tell he was nowhere to be seen. He of course could be in one of the tents. It was unlikely that he'd be let loose in the territory at this stage. "How do we find Destin?" She whispers to Sacha and Kianna.

Kianna shifts, feeling Aya lift off of her shoulders. She stands up and stretches her back and arms to prepare herself to climb up the tree. She chews on her bottom lip and reaches up to attempt to scramble upwards despite any pain she might be feeling from the strain on her right shoulder. She gradually follows up to Sacha.

Aya gestures to a spot on her own branch for the two of them to come up to, then peeked into the Brom camp to see what she could find. She was surprised at how ordinary it was. She knew it was silly to think that there'd be something like blood-covered spikes inside, but the lack of any kind of cruel pastimes still caught her off guard. The only difference to her seemed to be that the camp was a little more untidy than there's and lacked any visible wood pile. Perhaps there were also a few more weapons scattered about the place.
"Ah, then there is no need for further analysis." The doctor flicks the notebook shut. "That shall pass, although I will give you some medicine to help with the headache." True to his word, he gives Ptelea a small white pill and a glass of water. "There you go. I suspect the only thing you need now is some food. I will entrust Admi to help you with that."
<Snipped quote by Hawksnest565>

Ptelea flinches but doesn't complain. She smiles slightly. "All done??"

"Almost," the doctor flips open a notepad and holds a pen at the ready. "Do you have any shortness of breath or chest pain? Nausea? Just anything out of the unusual."
<Snipped quote by Hawksnest565>

Ptelea whimpers slightly, but nods, trying to be brave. She closes her eyes shut, getting ready for the sting.

The doctor dabs the antiseptic on both cuts and then puts a bandaid on each of them. "There you go. That's everything visible taken care of."
