Hey my name is IgnisMendacium, call me Ignis, call me Iggy I don't care just don't call me late for dinner eh?
I'm a true Canadian Red & White to the core yes I say eh and yes I am overly polite... sorry.

As far as my roleplay style, details are key, if I don't know the who, what, where, when how and why hopefully there's a reason or I'm left just plain confused. I don't know if I am prepared for advanced RP. But no matter what the destination I am always interested in the stories we can tell together.

I try to remain an open book if you have a question PM me and I will do my best to comfortably answer it.

I'm back should I post or wait til next rotation?
Hey guys, I thought I'd get something quickly put up before I head on my mini vacay. ^^

@Lurkerlurks I figured I'd add a little piece at the end that could write Emi into the story. Feel free to write around it if it's not what you had in mind. I tried to leave it a little vague.
CJ let out a deep emotional sigh. It tortured her to give bad advice to her mentor, but hearing him dictate in such a commanding tone made her feel something special. She bowed her head and hid back behind her cloak in the shadows. She went back to what she did best, observing and reacting to what she saw, she was never the idea person of the gang, that was Sage’s job.

As the graceless dove returned quickly with two corpses CJ’s eyes widened. “The fool” she whispered out. In her mind every last detail of every last thing her leader said was of the utmost importance. So when Sage had requested Huey go fetch two living humans there was no one word more important than the last. The girl scoffed, she thought to herself how quickly and properly she could complete this task for Spade. She held herself back, this was not her task even if it wasn’t completed to perfection that wasn’t her burden to bare.

She continued at a distance a few feet back and a story up. She knew she needed to remain close to hear any words that may be said to him, to keep note for later. She tried to sniff out scents that might have gone unnoticed, a strong ghoul was easy to smell, but the fresh scent of gunpowder on a human’s hand? In this day and age, that screamed police and that was worth noting. As she sniffed the air she smelled an unusual smell, this smell wasn’t ghoul, and to say it was simply human would be arrogant. In between shadows CJ would find her way to Sage and simply ask. “This city has some strange scents to it don’t you think?” Realistically this was a safe question to ask. Sage knew she wasn’t familiar with the world he wouldn’t think her wrong again, right? Being wrong twice in one night could mean a punishment worse than death exile from the gang.
Hey guys, as a heads up; from the 1st until the 4th I'm going to be out of town and probably nowhere near an internet connection. I'll be back on the evening of the 4th so if rotation doesn't get back to me there might be a lull. Sorry guys.

The Shadow: Celisse "CJ" Spade

No taller than a young girl, and no older in looks. CJ, a 19 year old girl to the inexperienced eye. She was no ordinary petite girl, she was a ghoul. On this night this ghoul needed to eat, no, not eat, feed. Most of the time it wasn’t about eating to survive she fed because she knew it was her idol’s wishes. The cattle needed to be slaughtered the girl thought to herself. This stuck with her always. This same thought reoccured to her as out from the shadows she dashed from shadow to shadow nails outstretched shaped like claws. She ripped the jugular of the throat of a simple human woman running away from a burning building. This would sustain her as a snack she’d hunt a human when the flesh was crispy a recently recurring delicacy for her.

Oh did these buildings burn so bright. The streets of Tokyo were where it all was going to begin.the dream she had always fantasized of her and her leader hand in hand as the world burned in await of a world made for the new top of the food chain; Ghouls.

Cj had followed Sage for only a year but she had made a name for herself. She always shadowed him from the darkness he did not need the protection but it made her feel necessary to always be the external outlook for him. This and an indomitable loyalty are why the leader of the Spades always kept his “shadow” as someone he could look to for a second opinion. He was her world, there was no one thing bigger than his use for her.

As she caught up with object of affection she caught him relaying orders. She loved hearing him command “Pay no mind to the rebels,” and “Stay alert for the police, if they still have the nerve to go up against us.” These words were gospel, Celisse was by no means a religious ghoul. Religion was for weak minded humans, but she knew this baptism of flame was going to be uprising of the ghoul lord and saviour.

"So I found this pretty strong ghoul all alone in a skyscraper, and was wondering if I'm aloud to hunt her?"

“If a ghoul is foolish enough not to be with us they deserve to die.” Cj muttered to herself in her native tongue. She mulled over the thought of her: with us, against us mentality this may be the doing of RIley’s muts. “Could be a trap” she said a little louder shrouded by cloak hiding in the darkness mere footsteps away from Spade and her fellow follower.

“Realistically we should find a place to set up headquarters, if we are able to get the message across to the cowardly masks, we may be able to build our numbers and encounter less ghoul resistance.” she moved to a mere step behind and to the right of Sage “Sir,” she asked formally as she always did. “If we want our coup to be taken seriously we should mobilize a few task forces, we should send one team to overthrow the local government and another to overtake a major media station.” She said all of this knowing the possible punishment that may come from speaking out to her commander. She also knew how successful revolutions were run by much weaker humans. She had studied ever since she met Sage.

If he hit her for outburst she knew she’d deserve it. She just hoped she was echoing his thoughts and vocalizing them for her fellow comrades to digest.

This was going to be their revolution… Together.... The Spades.
Celisse Jokinen (CJ Spade)

Personality: CJ lived a life of abandonment so when she met Sage and he took her on as his charge she felt loved. This of course was based solely out of misguided admiration for someone giving her a place to belong to. This admiration has made her loyal to a fault, she will blindly obey any order given out by Sage even ones that could put her life in danger.

Her obsessions also have a very strong blinder in the fact that she gets jealous of anyone too close to him. Riley being the biggest target on her list, she resents Riley’s past with Sage and feels she was a coward for turning her back on Sage’s vision of a new better world.

Cj’s life living alone on the streets taught her to lurk in shadows and only use her Kagune as a defense mechanism when her fight or flight instincts perked up. This has made her more effective at hand to hand combat than the brunt force attacking power of her Kokaku,

Backstory:

Celisse was born unwillingly to two ghouls in Helsinki Finland, her parents could not afford to feed themselves as they were passive ghouls only eating when necessary and normally eating the flesh of the recently dead sold from black market ghoul merchants. Knowing they could not take care of the child and knowing they couldn’t give her to an orphanage they left her with a handwritten birth certificate riverside near a local hidden ghoul community.

Found by a elderly ghoul on an evening hunt he took her in as a tool, a weapon to hone and use as a means to hunt for sustenance. As she grew he taught her in the methods of close quarters assassination. He was far too old to activate his own Kagune so he showed her how to use her superior strength to rip into the papery flesh of humans. By the time she was 16 she had become exactly what he had intended, a tool for his using. He grew to lust for her, she took his first and last advance as a betrayal everything that he’d done for her and this was the payment he expected. As he held her down, the RC gland between her shoulders ripped open the space between her shoulder blades screaming in anger and pain she attempted to push him away driving an icepick sized hole directly between the eyes of the old bastard. Without full control of the new ability the Kokaku expanded rapidly splattering blood and greymatter across her attackers home.

She spent the next 2 years living on the streets using her skills taught to her to feed off any human foolish enough to fall into her grasp, stealing cash off of those who carried. Living in the shadows and learning the streets, using her knowledge of Helsinki to stay out of the eyes of local ghoul hunting task forces.

One day at the age of 18 CJ witnessed an american man prowl the streets, tearing through humans with greater efficacy than any other ghoul she had ever met. He spoke to the people of Finland speaking of ghoul’s true lace at the top of the food chain, how they deserved to be free from “man’s government” as they were not equals. Did man answer to cattle? CJ would do anything to be a part of this man’s new world order. She spoke him after his ghoul rally where he told her to come to the United States where the beginning was already underway no matter what the military dogs who touted him around like a pet thought. She hadn’t the means but she would find him again she knew she would.

Within the month Celisse had created a plan to sneak onto a freighter bound for Canada, she spent weeks travelling around the continent in search of a winged ghoul. Sage was his name, a name she could never forget. With her tracking skill she made it to the south west states slowly tracking him by reputation and scent when she made it to California. She found him and she was ready to be a part of his revolution as they would stand hand in hand as the world burned in their names.

“Her name was Riley, and in a way, he saw himself in her.”

Celisse hated Riley she had all of Sage’s attention he trained her to be a perfect driver for the revolution. She stood loyally by his side never saying no to an order never asking for preferential treatment. She never truly measured up to Riley, this was obvious. Until the fateful day that Riley turned her back on the Spades. This would be how she made herself known in Sage’s eyes, the one who stayed by his side when the whore closest to him made an attempt to prevent his change. Sage nicknamed her his shadow due to her consistent proximity and her tendency to lurk in the shadows. This was good enough for her for now...

Kagune Type: Kokaku
Kagune Description: While offensively weighing itself at the base of her right shoulder and being utilized akin to a rapier. CJ has become more accustomed to using it defensively by hiding her small frame behind her arm and expanding the Kagune to act like an impenetrable kite shield. As she has never taken her abilities beyond the breadth of simple hunting she has never seen the true extent or seeing if there are levels beyond what she presents.

Affiliation: The Spade Gang

Other: Celisse only took up the nickname CJ when becoming a spade.
Speaks fluent Finnish and English but speaks in a noticeable Finnish accent.
Still here. @Arty Fox I hope you are too.

If we lose too many people do we do a cold reset? I liked where a lot of the story is going. I just hope the love is felt universally.
If we can get a crew I might have some interest.
@BurningCold @Arty Fox @Absolis

There we go hopefully that should continue our portion of the story.

Hopefully, this adds enough so that you can add more Burning.

I couldn't decide what I wanted to say but someone's gotta move the plot, right? Even if it was a garbage post.

As an apology for a garbage post here's a picture of Hal ready for my city's week-long rodeo.

Oh dear! Denni cried out nearly getting hit by a three-pound cord the side of her head. Hal could do nothing but laugh at the sight just because Denni always seemed to have good intentions didn't mean her Haunter was the same. Denni quickly helped the poor Umbreon out from the mass of cables.

As she began to assist this poor cable burdened girl, she caught the last bit of what the gentleman who had caused the calamity asked. Coincidentally I was just about to help our fallen comrade find her way. With one good tug Denni pulled the red head to her feet only to quickly lose her balance and fall backwards onto her rear. Hal was now floating upside down howling at the sight before him. Hal! Not funny! This flustered demand only made the Pokemon laugh loud enough to resonate amongst the halls.

Denni took a deep breath and looked upwards at her two human counterparts, My name is Denni I'm the receptionist and head of public relations. I would love to assist both of you to wherever you may be needing to go.

There was no way she was going to get to IT and fix her phone before the first broadcast. But hey she was making friends right?
