Bio

A quick introduction of myself and a few associates of mine

For real though, I'm a Brit who dabbles in most genres of roleplay, but tends to go for fantasy and sci-fi in particular. I prefer high casual, but will use a more or less advanced writing style if I like the concept.

Glad that you made a return, Kessir. I'm running a couple of rps you may be interested in, both are linked in my sig.
What if there was a (harshly illegal, of course) drug that could temporarily create magic abilities in a regular person? These might be wild and uncontrollable, and probably mess with the user's mind as well. Also, the powers caused might not be actual magic, but effects similar to spells, with only the drug itself being magica.
Bump.

@Archetype Zero No problem, but this will make the third feminine human-related race (after the Assar-Rhen and Xenor). Nothing wrong with that, obviously, but you might consider it a done thing.

Edit: I should mention that the Assar-Rhen are not a subrace, but an entirely seperate species, so a new race could be descended from them rather than humans. Just a thought.
@ClocktowerEchos @Kenaron Yeah I'd agree with CTE on this one. Knowing what to do is up to the wizard, but the hard job is the fighter's, traditionally.

On that note, would particularly powerful mages (i.e. mages that can teleport reliably) dominate trade, or at least be welled paid-for, being able to transport goods over huge distances instantly?
A hooded, cloaked figure moves through the crowds. Probably a woman, though it's hard to tell except up close. Whoever she is, she has no trouble maintaining a fast walk, nearly a run, dodging between clamours of people so skillfully she might as well be incorporeal. She looks up, noticing something on a rooftop and smiling, though no one would see it. Soon, though it's not clear eactly when, she has a paper aeroplane in her hands, and then it lands by Boris' side. She looks up at him for a long moment, her expression still invisible, then turns around and moves back into the crowd, apparently dissapearing into thin air.

Nearby, a fat, black-bearded merchant beats a slave, a dark-skinned man of maybe 30, for dropping some supplies. Twice more, then he orders the slave to get up and gather those that are still intact, while he returns to his own "work". The cloaked woman reappears here, dancing through the packed streets out to this space behind the stall. She turns to the slave and kisses him, suddenly, inexpicably, before throwing him hard onto the cobbled street, possibly seriously injuring him. The merchant, hearing the noise, turns around. People nearby can feel their ears popping as the woman draws red mana to her, before expelling in the form of a little shock. People panic and run as the unlucky man's corpse flies over his own stall into the crowd.

The woman only now draws her hood down to reveal her face. Her hair, different lengths around her head in chaotic fashion, red with black highlights that just as easily be burn marks as dye. Her face, covered in scars and scratches, from both weapon and beast. She bursts out laughing at the chaos around her, and suddenly there is an explanation for all of her strange behaviour: a tattoo of the symbol of Rakdos, hidden in shadow before but now visible just above her collarbone.
@Kenaron I was thinking along the lines of traditional arena (bringing what you want to the fight, within reason), but that makes more sense. Shields could be breakable, thus removing that problem, or they could provide a miss chance on enemies' attacks.
@Taeryn I'm happy to do it, just gotta get a post on another rp finished up first.
@1Charak2 Apologies, but you have been inactive for a long time with no explanation. You are no longer considered part of this rp. If anyone wants your character or your position in the Izzet guild, they may have. If you return and that has not happened, you may resume your position.

I really do sound like an Azorius, don't I?
