I'll keep an eye on this, but no promises.
As others have pointed out the blue/purple text is hard to read and off-putting...
But for me it's more about the characters, and whether every Persona ends up following the;
Element spell + Dia + Random ability; skill set.
Call me silly but the first thing I thought of when reading the opening was
"Hey, I want to be a crazed wolfos gone rogue" xD
Just in case it isn't obvious, I'm not serious
Not sure if I'll join, but the idea seems interesting. Good luck!
If this ends with Donald Trump being revealed as the Antichrist, I am going to crown this as the greatest RP ever!

I'm sorry, but if cute Tsundere Lucy ends up being THE Crazed Commercial Supremacist this would be one of the worst RP's ever xD

Not sure if I'll join this, but it looks interesting.
@MelodyNoir
I think it's pretty safe to greenlight your idea.
You can elaborate if you want, but I've got enough faith in you not to turn it into something ridiculous.

@Devo
Great, I don't want to see the ability used to turn an infant into an old man in a matter of hours, but that's clearly not what you're going for. xD Wouldn't mind it being used on plants though.

@All
I'll put together an OoC and Character thread sometime tomorrow, have to head out for a meeting in a bit, and I'll be too tired to do anything when I get back today.
I miss waking up in the morning to find a whole lot of stuff to respond to

@Bishop
Flashlight eyes? So you'd activate your ability and repel your attacker with blinding light? xD
It wouldn't be OP, but it'd be a very strange ability xD

@Ashifili
Transmitting Happiness upon another individual would be acceptable, though for practicalities sake I'd probably tone it up a bit into a drunken stupor xD (Not necessarily drunk, but a bit dreamy/dazed I guess). Only issue with this ability is that you'd need the cooperation of others to write it. (Which shouldn't be an issue).

In regards to transmitting pleasure... that sounds a bit too sexual for my liking (on RPG), but it could... possibly worked if you specify what you mean by 'pleasure' xD (Eg the stupor effect mentioned above)

@Devo
Hmm, I don't know about healing in particular since it sounds a bit odd for a wound to close up just because someone's looking at it... but to substitute I'd be perfectly fine with an ability that accelerates growth (of cells). I think this'd have more uses due to it being usable on things that aren't injured. Strangely enough, accelerated growth would have a higher daily limit than actual healing... cause healing by itself just sounds bizarrely overpowered.

@Yayoi
A bit reluctant on magnetism, though I think that's because a power of Magneto's caliber would be outright broken. It could work if it were toned down a bit I guess, though reading this made me think an ability that would summon objects would be interesting. (Eg Teleportation, but making things come to you, instead of going to places).

@MyCatGinger
Welcome to the interest group~
Seem to have quite a few people now, what is it... 7? xD

@Rainmaker
Looking forward to hearing from you when you're ready then x3

If there's anything I've missed, give me another poke xD
@Fabricant451
Looking forward to what you come up with then~

@MelodyNoir
So the ability to make certain appliances stop working?
I think that could be quite a lot of fun in played right.
Can imagine a few cases where it'd have practical uses, and I like how you restricted it to electrical appliances.

@Bishop
Self-Teleportation could work, though it'd be limited to a place you can see. (So you wouldn't be able to teleport out of a windowless room. But could teleport up ontop of a sky scraper, assuming that vision isn't obstructed. Could be a neat ability, and again it could be pretty useful if used right.
Being a supernatural ability it doesn't have to make complete sense.
In regards to piercing I'm not sure how you could work it in, but I wouldn't mind something like a blink triggering some sort of force-based impact. So essentially an ability that would hurl a figurative truck at the target.

There's two things to consider when coming up with an ability in my opinion.
- Can you write it? The most important question when you've come up with an idea is if it's write-able. Gazing into the future or reading another character's mind sounds sweet... but from a technical perspective it means you'll have to constantly PM me to get some insight, or PM others to tell you what they're thinking. It's simply too much work.

- Is it useful? While abilities do not all have to be combat oriented, players should keep in mind that their character may be placed in a sticky situation. Using Fabricant's example, increasing the heat of something could be useful, but specifying it to raising body temperature would be very restrictive. (The former would be useful when I want some coffee, and the kettle's not working)

I can see either idea working, but they probably need a bit more thought.
If you need an opinion or advice I'm here, and others are welcome to offer their thoughts too.
It's good to have both of your interests~
And with that we've met the minimum requirement of 5 players.
I'll piece together a character sheet later today...

But in the mean time I'd appreciate it if people could mention what sort of ability they're considering.
(Cause, you know... it'd suck to write up a character sheet, only to find the ability concept you built your character around isn't going to be allowed).
Ideally the ability should be something related to your character's backstory or personality.
Thanks for expressing your interest Rainmaker~
I was thinking of putting things together over the weekend... but I might have to start sooner.
Really didn't expect to get interest this quickly. x3
Not a bad thing, not at all~
Thanks for the interest Devo~
3/9 interest isn't bad for the first 2 hours~ xD

Since I was asked this by someone in a private message I'll clarify here too.
Characters 'can die' but their killings won't be structured, and certainly not at random.

There's only three cases where I'll consider killing a PC character.
-If the person asks specifically to have their character killed off. (Eg; They no longer want to play their current character, and want to make a new one from scratch without the hassle of the first one)

-If a person suddenly disappears and is inactive for an entire month. (I understand life can get busy, but if you don't have the courtesy to at least drop a quick notice that you're busy/quitting, then you've relinquished any say in what happens to your character. Note; people who give notice will be given an option, this is just for the rude people)

-If a person is being an idiot through metagaming. Like most roleplays, Player Characters (PC) enjoy a certain level of immortality when it comes to what they do. However, I don't take kindly to people abusing this privilege. For example; if your character willingly runs into a building that's blazing like an inferno then they 'may' die. If you spit in the face of a short-tempered serial killer who has you pinned by the throat with a knife... he may kill you. If your character is acting like they have a deathwish I'll first notify you through PM's, publicly in the OoC, and then... if appropriate they'll be knocked off.
