Welcome to Avalon

The voice rang through Phi’s head, calling her back to a realm of consciousness. Stirring slightly, Phi groggily picked her upper body off the ground and yawned.

“Just five more minutes mooom,” she groaned before slipping back down towards the hard, unforgiving dirt. Phi expected a soft, fluffy pillow to embrace her tired head, but instead she was greeted by the stiff, cold ground. “Oww! What the-?” Wide awake now, Phi clutched her pounding head and sat up. She winced in pain and cursed herself silently. Huffing and puffing, Phi swiveled her head around to see if anyone caught that embarrassing scene, but after taking a good gander at her new environment, it finally dawned on her that she should have been more worried about the sudden change in scenery. She was definitely not in her own house, much less a friend’s. Mari’s house was pretty rural, but not like this. This was outdoors, outdoors. Sifting through her memories, the last thing that she could remember was sitting at the table with Mari in one of her friends’ house. They had been there to pull an all-nighter and test a theory, and most people were having fun chatting and playing games with others except for a select few. Mari and herself were a part of that minority. Sighing as she recollected the night’s highs and lows, Phi groaned again. Nothing was working out anymore. The before was a bust, despite the fact that she actually got Mari to attend a social event, the stubborn girl missed the key point of socializing, and now this mess.

Phi didn’t complain for long, however, since her internal whine fest was interrupted by the sudden glow of one of the many huge skeletal dragon heads that outlined the edges of the plateau. The voice that seemed to belong to dragon skull introduced itself to the group, and soon after, the rest of the skulls followed by example. There was a brief break, filled with silence and awe from Phi, that ensued after the conclusion of the dragon spirits’ introductions. However, not to long after, a voice seemed to resonate throughout the world, and its source seemed to stem from the enormous dragon skull embedded in the sole mountain peak that rose above all others. Phi was bewildered. Never had she ever been faced with a predicament quite like this, but something within her made her feel as if her only hope in returning back to her normal life was to abide by the guidance given from the dragon spirit skull things…

Lost in thought, Phi did not notice Alexander as he approached and pinched her arm. Snapping out of her daze, she whirled her head around just in time to catch a glimpse of his receding figure and just a bit of spoken thoughts. Phi sighed to herself and got up off the ground. She spared a moment to dust her clothes off before heading over to the rack of goodies. Along the way, she noticed the familiar glasses and stoic expression of a girl she knew all too well. Waving slightly in the other girl’s direction, Phi was promptly ignored. Grimacing, she lowered her hand and continued to the rack. It seemed that quite a few people went for selecting their dragon egg first, so Phi decided to be ‘hip’ and went for her weapon first. Perusing the layout of weapons as if she were windowing shopping in the mall, Phi stopped in front of a promising item. It was comprised of 3 long, sharp blades joined together at the center and looked like an over-sized ninja throwing star. Grasping the weapon with her dominant hand, Phi mimicked the motion that she would use for attacking with it. Pleased with the outcome of the practice, she moved over to the rack of dragon eggs. By then, the selection of eggs had diminished by quite a bit, but there was an egg on the top of the rack that caught her eye. It had a red outline with an essentially black, dark center and a hint of purple. Leaning her weapon against her side, Phi stood on her tiptoes and carefully grabbed the egg. Clutching the egg close, Phi juggled carrying both the egg and her weapon back to the group. Spotting Mari, Phi made her way towards her best friend.

“So what was with the cold shoulder back there?” Phi teased as she approached Mari.

OMG. AHAHAHA. "Wow this bra really supports my back! Thanks Phi, I'm going to keep this one."

Any member of the party, Instantaneous swap/size change, and yes, its going to be complicated. Also, have you not noticed another member has the disadvantage of colour changing clothes? the whole cost/limit thing was set to provide a source of comedy in what would otherwise be a VERY dark roleplay. That can be done, Make up a CS. however I may not get round to it for a while.BTW everyone, IC will be up within 48 hours. just right now Log Horizon dubbed just came out.

Well this will be interesting, to say in the least. Also, is there a cooldown on skills or could Phi potentially 'blink' twice or more?
(Oh and I must add in, Log Horizon is absolutely amazing in my opinion. Go watch that episode!)

Does that mean Phi has an unlimited supply of bras? PFFFAnd I went through everyone's power costs and there's quite a lot of colour changing. When the time comes to use their powers, it'll just be a mess of colours LOLWhooop~ I'm excited to start this rp!

Well, hopefully she packed a spare or two. She will definitely need them.

Throwing Glaive, The weapon of ninja's and assassins, The hidden weapon, often used to open combat, or finish it off.
Power; Blink, Phi can teleport to any location she can see, Within 40m. This is accompanied by a slight popping noise and smell of freshly mown grass.

I have a few questions about this Weapon Power Cost.
First off, how would this work exactly? Like, how would you suggest to describe this process? Would the clothes just spontaneously switch with someone else without much notice or...?
And second, I am assuming that her clothes solely swap with female party members, correct? I mean, it would make everything much more complicated if not.
Stage 1:
Name: Sophie “Phi” Tsukiko
Age: 18
Apperance:

History: Phi grew up in a high-middle class family as the youngest of 5. She was raised by her two loving parents who did their best to divide their attention amongst their 5 demanding children and their jobs. Since Sophie was their last baby, and youngest, her parents left it to her older siblings to take care of her for the most part. It wasn’t that they were pushing of their duties as a parent to someone else because they were tired. It was because supporting such a large family was difficult. Someone needed to make money to feed those little monsters. Surrounded with gorgeous elder sisters and rambunctious, teasing older brothers, Phi’s childhood was anything but boring. As years passed by, she slowly realized the real goal to her game. Every single one of her siblings had already acknowledged this goal and she had been entered late into the game. They were all playing for just a sliver more of their parent’s attention. Anything would do, be it for positive or negative reasons. Phi just could not compete. There was no way.

So instead of seeking her fill of parental affection and attention at home, she branched out to her peers, feeding from them. The process was slow, but Phi caught on quick. She started small, gaining a few close friends and friending their friends up until the point that she had familiarized herself with a good portion of the community. She watched herself well, keeping her physical and social appearance under strict check. However, with all of this time spent in her social aspect of life, it heavily unbalanced the opposite faction that she had neglected, academics. Where it is possible to juggle both sides of the fence, Phi had completely ignore her educational aspect. Luckily, though, her elementary school’s star in the academic field only lived five houses down the street. Seeking help in mathematics and social studies, Phi offered the lonely girl friendship in return. Although, despite the generous offer, Phi was quickly shot down. She received her requested help and was swiftly sent on her way.

Appalled with the hasty dismissal, Phi pursued Mari’s hand in friendship until before she knew it, it had unofficially become best friends. The two had spent so much time together, mostly thanks to Phi initiating each encounter, that it just seemed to abnormal for them to be separated and not share in their memories, both new and old.

Phi had been there when Mari broke down about her rejection letters from her dream colleges and even suggested that the two of them attend the same college. She was also the one that dragged Mari to the all-nighter get-together.

Personality: Phi is a spunky, carefree girl who chose to focus on her social status and exterior appearance over academics. Whereas she is not your stereotypical, stuck-up, pretentious popular girl, she carries a darker side to her white name. To most of her peers, Phi tends to come off as cheery and optimistic girl that always seems to be smiling no matter the situation. She is the supportive type of friend that acknowledges the smaller details about people and tries to protect them both indirectly and directly. However, she does struggle with jealousy. She has tried her best to suppress such thoughts and feelings, but sometimes they become unbearable. Phi is prone to snapping under pressure, in which she becomes a violent storm of hurtful slurs and pure rage. However, very few have seen her in such a state, one of which is Mari, as Phi normally vents her anger and frustrations through her martial arts and other sports.

What they were doing when they passed out: Phi passed out in a chair at the kitchen table. She had been trying to get Mari to leave her studies and try socializing for once, but Mari refused to budge so Phi resorted to pouting, which still didn’t work.

Stage 2:
Dragon Egg: Egg 4
Dragon Type: Shadow/Void - The dragon incarnation of Nothingness. This dragon is nocturnal and solitary. the breath appears to be flames that are a gateway into space, though they light normal fires.
Dragon Appearance:
Dragon Name: Mukyo
Dragon Personality: Mukyo is a night owl, only choosing to be active at night, if at all. Feigning tiredness, Mukyo is typically stubborn but calm in most situations while it is comfortably placed in the dark. Although, when exposed to light for long periods of time, Mukyo often exhibits a more irritable and passive aggressive side than normal. Mukyo does not care for social interaction, unlike his companion, and prefers standing, waiting, sleeping, and carrying out other actions in the shadows.

Weapon Chosen: Throwing Glaive
Weapon Image:
Power Granted: Blink - the user can teleport to any location she can see within 40m. This is accompanied by a slight popping noise and the smell of freshly mowed grass.
Limitations: The user must see the location and the location must be under 40m away. The user cannot take people with her/him and must consciously 'blink' in the desired direction when activating the skill.
Power Cost/Requirement: Her clothes will randomly swap with another party member's after use. The clothes will adjust sizes to fit, and if the clothes are taken off and swapped back, they will return to their original size.

(And yes, I did get Sheep's okay on the back story.)
