Jeremiah finished preparing his EVA, and then put it on. He let himself float as the oxygen filled up. His excitement had become more nervous. What is something went wrong? Had he missed anything in the preparations? He took a deep breath. Of course nothing would go wrong. He was in the capable hands of Ellie, and there was nobody he trusted more for the job. They airlock decompressed. He was ready. He was going to space walk. As Ellie began to move out, Jeremiah followed. He heard all her instructions over the com system, and obeyed as needed. He suddenly realized... he was in the void. Outside of the EVA there was only emptiness. It was incredible for a human being, a historically earth-bound creature, to be able to to do this. He looked over the Prospect Horizon. He'd never seen it from the outside. It was better than he imagined... And suddenly it was gone. Jeremiah saw as the Greenhouse began to explode. In the split seconds he had, he wondered what was going on, how this could have happened, what he could do, what the guidebook would tell him to do, the implications of the destruction of the Prospect Horizon. But his body froze up. He couldn't bring himself to grasp the intensity of what was going on. As he got flung back from the source of the explosion, he shut down, closing his eyes... It took King about 2 minutes to regain control of his body. He looked around at the space-debris, the ruins of the station. He couldn't tell where he was, but he was between two large pieces of rubble. Next to him, a dead body floated. Jeremiah wanted the throw up, but instead he had to survive. His scientific mind immediately began to question what had happened. How could the explosion began? It must have been fueled by the Hydrogen. It was stupid to use such a reactive element as a source of power, but that couldn't be changed now. The Prospect Horizon became the new Hindenburg. "Does anyone receive me?" Jeremiah heard over the coms. It was Ellie's voice. At least one of the team apart from him had survived. Jeremiah suddenly began to think of his own chances of surviving. If Ellie is alive, then he has a chance. He'd be helpless on his own. "I hear you, Ellie," King whispered, still unmoving. "Where are you?" Jeremiah began using his thruster pack to move away from the rubble he was between. He finally got a look at what was left of the Prospect Horizon. It was completely devastated. It was all gone.
Jeramiah was... Excited. Very very excited. He'd been briefed, he'd been trained (albeit briefly), and finally, he was just about to spacewalk... Like, actually move around, in a complete vacuum, protected by what is practically a few layers of fabric. It was nerve-racking, but exhilarating. He made his way through the station, the adrenaline pumping. As a child, he didn't dream of becoming an astronaut, so it wasn't as if this was some lifelong goal... but it was still awesome. He arrived at the Engineering Airlock, smiling ecstatically at Ellie, Fabio, and Pat. "Hey," almost out of breath from excitement. "How are we all?" He looked around. His suit was ready for action. He went over to it to begin preparing for the mission."
Name: Professor Jeremiah King Gender: Male Age: 36 Nationality: British-born Australian Appearance: Jeremiah is youthful looking, generally cheerful, with brown hair, bright green eyes, and a trimmed full-face beard. His EVA suit is mostly normal, but bears a specially made flag (dark blue with a picture of a helium atom, including all the up and down red green blue quarks) on the left shoulder. Job: Jeremiah is a professor in physics, especially theoretical and quantum physics. He went on the walk because he requested to do so, as hi is fascinated with all sciences, and he wished to observe. Brief Background: Jeremiah had a good upbringing into a rich family. He moved to Australia from England when he was 2. His father was an engineer and his mother was a biochemist, so naturally Jeremiah grew up loving science. He was prodigious in his study, working hard to achieve good grades throughout all levels of schooling. He went to university and studied his most loved form of science, physics. He went on to study quantum particles, and became a professor at age 30. At age 32, he was chosen to go up to the Prospect Horizon to lecture and study photons and radiation from the sun. Jeremiah fit in well, being a cheerful and outgoing person. He focused on his work and did so efficiently. However, inside, his self esteem began to crumble, from a combination of the stress of formulas he couldn't complete, problems with workmates, a lack of romantic success, and the fear of high expectations that he could not live up to. Outwardly, Jeremiah remains happy, but his emotional state is slowly decreasing inside. Special Equipment: Being an observer, Jeramiah bought a camera to film and photograph the happenings. He also bought a thruster pack for ease of movement.

Alex listened to Omni's thoughts, discovering what had caused to to break down. Among the thoughts about the lion that was comforting her, Omni kept the information; The government is shutting this facility down. All children must be exterminated. Suddenly Alex's new found freedom seemed a lot more dangerous. "The girl is right, we have to leave. Now" Not bothering to stay or explain the situation, Alex left the room and began walking towards the front door.
Alex knew he was awake, but he hadn't opened his eyes. Usually when he woke up, the staff would make sure he is up an out of bed immediately. But since they weren't here, he could get a few extra moments of sleep... Eh, stuff it, he thought, as he pulled himself into a sitting position and stretched, opening his eyes. He looked over at the door, wondering where the guards were. And why the door was open. The door was open? What? The intimidate confusion subsided, and Alex smiled. This was his lucky day. He quickly prepared himself, and strolled out the door. He took notice of the things around him. Omni had taken to freedom quickly, riding a gorilla down the hall. Everybody's doors were open, and the guards were nowhere to be seen. Had some third party let them free? Was this just a glitch in the system? Had the guards planned this? He made his way to the kitchen. He filled a bottle with water, and collected some food. Bread, chocolate, fruit, enough to keep him going until he'd fully escaped. He also grabbed some cutlery, to sell when he got out of the center so he could have some money. He grabbed an apple, and walked out into the hall. Before he left, he thought might as well check some things out here. He walked down the hall, following the path that Omni and her gorilla had taken.

He has amassed quite some wealth in the time he has been trading. He is considering buying more wagons so he can buy and sell goods more efficiently. Other Information: That's pretty much it. If this RP gets enough attention and you reboot it, this is my guy.
Name: Alexander Fern Age: 15 Bio: Alex believes he was born to a poor family from his earliest memories, but he can't be sure. He's been in the Vartican Center most of his life, and become used to the boredom and repetitive schedule. He's always planned to try and escape one day, but it appears it's been done for him. Personality: Alex is a sociopath. He avoids making friends (at least true friends), as he believes people can be of more use to him when manipulated to do what he wishes. He is self-centered, as he believes that it is human nature to try to further oneself, and that if others are pushed down, it is their own fault for not trying hard enough. Powers: Mind Reading. However, when Alex becomes stressed and looses focus, he cannot control his power, and all nearby thoughts flood in, making it impossible to concentrate. Appearance:
