I have another twist on the binary idea... a Dyson Sphere around the companion star, the whole construct circling the primary of the pair. Huge, huge amount of space, enough to "house" thousands of civilizations at once. If not tens of thousands... or more. Actually created this for an idea of my own, but...Oops, almost forgot: This Dyson Sphere is habitable both on the inside and the outside surface. Like I said, HUGE huge surface area to play with.

That would be incredible, we could make a multiverse with that much space. =)
Dylan nodded. "Alright, I will." But he didn't seem sure about how to pick up the glass without cutting himself, and moved slowly.
Conner put his hands on his hips and gave Iris a sideways glance. He was just a little bit put off by her strange reaction and being given the cold shoulder, but declined to say anything about it. In some ways it was actually better then having her gush over him, he'd gone through that before with girls and it never ended well. Still, he couldn't help but wonder if there was something that he wasn't picking up on.

The guy from before was still shouting something about his lollipops, so he looked up to see what was going on with that. "Sure, why not?" He grinned cheekily. "I hope they aren't...questionable or anything."
I had to go shopping with my mom and sister, but here I am.
Conner finally managed to stop snickering long enough to notice Iris trip. She got up by herself, but he still walked over to make sure she was okay; he lived in a house with a bunch of little kids running around, so beyond any innate kindness he also felt like he was obligated to deal with other people's clumsiness. He hadn't yet realized that she was blind.

"Oh boy, that was a nasty trip, are you okay?" He offered her a hand.
Not even getting a chance to acknowledge Sonya's introduction, Conner clapped his hand over his face and tried desperately to stifle his laughter at what he'd seen, but he couldn't help letting out a snicker. Wow, these guys are gonna be a riot.
Still looking for someone to talk too, Conner noticed the group of the students in the back all standing up and talking to one another. Someone was handing out candy for some reason he couldn't fathom. Oh well, he thought that's a better place to start then anything else. He smiled warmly as he approached the group, looking around to each one of them. Then he seemed to be a little bit more nervous.

"Hi, I'm Conner Reinsberg...I guess I'm in group A, are any of you guys in my class?" He mumbled. The friends he usually hung out with where at other schools; he was all alone here.
Meh all you guys's characters are standing up in a group I suppose I should find a way to shove Conner in that direction.
While Erik was walking the path, a girl had shoved by him and snapped him out of his drawing daze. He noticed she was going the same way he was, and realized this must be another earth zodiac student. She seemed to be in quite a hurry, but he just stopped briefly and then went back to his work. Once he got to his dorm, the first thing he did after unpacking was take out the four seedling packets he'd brought in his bookbag- Violets, Geraniums, Orchids and Hibiscus. He put each one in a pot in the window, watered them, and afterwords stood back and admired his work. They weren't much to look at now, but soon he'd several new subjects for his paintings. Plants were so much more agreeable then other humans; with his peers he only ever seemed to get in the way.
