Brooklyn, New York - Mary's Diner. (now with formatting)

Kai politely said thank you when the waiter went the other way, almost certainly to tell the cook his order. The waiter was nice enough, he supposed. Not many service workers are transparent enough to tell you their turnip greens kind of suck ass. Most just say "Yeah. They're pretty good." Then, you end up taking a bite of the greens and up cursing at yourself for trusting that rascally waiter. But Kai didn't have to do that. he had a nice waiter. He looked back to his phone and it was buzzing, sliding on the counter slightly from its own vibrations. He picked it up and answered it. "Hello?' he said.

It was his mom. "Yeah, hey. Kai? Do you have the key to the break room? We got here so early that no one has the key to unlock it. Everyone here is working early part-time shifts."

Not even hanging up, Kai teleported to inside of the break room. He reached around for a light switch, turned it, which in turn, turned on the lights. He pressed the lock button on the door and pulled it open for his mother, who was on the other side. She had a purse in her hand, with her other hand holding up her cell to her ear. "Thanks, hun. How was your breakfast? Taste alright?" his mom asked. "I need to know because I want to know if Mary's is any good or not."

"Actually," Kai retorted. "I hadn't gotten my food run to me when you called. The service seems pretty good though, and that really is half the battle."

"That's nice to know, but don't let me keep you. I'm'a let you eat. See ya later, Kai."

"See ya, mom." Kai smiled and waved, then in the next second he was back in his chair at the diner. He hoped no one saw him teleport just then, or even a couple minutes earlier. There was a good number of people in there, though. Maybe no one noticed. Maybe everyone had their nose in their phones or were too busy talking to other people. It didn't matter much to Kai, anyway. He wasn't the most recognizable face on the planet, excluding when he's known by a friend. Anyone that cared to confront him had to be good with faces. Kai directed his attention to his own phone, tapping away, mostly just looking at his pictures.

IC is up now, so let everyone get a post in, then we'll go from there.

I'm also gonna need to Chev to post their CS in the Characters tab.
TRUNK'S POV

Trunks put the last dragon ball into the hole- the seven star ball. A dissonant whine loudly came from the podium, warning of something to come in the next few moments. The once-blue sky quickly and violently transitioned into a silver color with streaks of golden lightning illuminating the area. A large, green flying serpent with the horns of a stag and long whiskers rushed from behind the clouds. Trunks and most other beings knew this creature as Shenron. He had the power to grant any wish, as long as it within his power. Shenron zoomed around for a few brief, yet awesome seconds and eventually stationed himself in front of Trunks. Trunks stared with his mouth open, in awe of what was in front of him.

Why have you summoned me?” Shenron boomed. “Tell me your wish now.

Shaky voiced, Trunks said, “I need something- anything. Anything to defend history from the two mystery warriors who have endangered the timeline.

It shall be done,” said Shenron.

Thank you!” Trunks yelled with excitement. “Thank you so much!

I must go now. Farewell.” Shenron zoomed back into the far reaches of the sky, with the dark clouds disappearing after him. The dragon balls rose from their podium, and in the blink of an eye, they were scattered once again. Once the last of the clouds cleared and sounds of thunder dissipated, a large burst of energy occurred about twenty feet to the left of Trunks. The smoke cleared and eight different warriors stood before him. Trunk knew not of their backgrounds, but he knew today that they would help him.

He approached the group and most of them expressed confusement with their body language and the looks on their faces. “Hello,” greeted Trunks. “My name is Trunks. I’d like you all to follow me. I’ll explain everything soon enough.
Would I be allowed a character that is a Potara Earing fusion?

I'm afraid not. That is another thing in the realm of OP characters.
@Weird Tales I'm afraid you can't... I'll notify you if someone leaves the RP though. I'm sorry.
@Happy Go Lucky Your CS is accepted. Just make sure World King Fist 20x Maximum doesn't get to a point that makes Jiyuu too OP. Please PM me if you plan on using it and we'll see if it's the right time to use it.

I'm no longer accepting any character sheets. If an existing player leaves the RP for any reason, there will be a chance to join again.
@BenNah, Ben. You're good. That's a good CS. Accepted.

And with Ben's CS being accepted, we have one last spot open. I'll try to get an IC post written up which I'll post tomorrow. Thank you everyone for being patient with me.
Brooklyn, New York - Mary's Diner

Kai looked up from his old Nokia phone that he still didn't know how to work entirely. Everyone today was engrossed in their devices so he didn't want to stand out. He just faked it, but still never understood everyone's fascination with technology. All his friends moved along before him, getting Apple phones and Ex...droids? Maybe. Kai was a simple man, wanting nothing but being what he already knew himself to be. He knew he was going to have to catch up with everyone, but now? He wanted to move at his own pace. he'd figure out his Nokia soon enough.

He slid the shiny, laminated menu the diner provided him to the waiter guy, having looked over it for the past few minutes. "Nah, I think I'll just have four scrambled eggs, extra fluffy. Bacon too," he answered. "How's your bacon here? It's been a while since I've in here." He looked warmly into the waiter's eye. The guy was just a kid. Looking like he just wanted to make a buck. But Kai supposed it wasn't his place to make those assumptions. He was just here for a good bite to eat. Maybe to get to know the staff here. If he was going to keep getting to work early, he might as well had become a pleasant regular, with a friendly face that's nice to greet.
