Can I take creative dominion of some highlands type landscape, situated on the winter/swamp continent?
Don't forget to squeeze in that 1% floating isles.
Set classes would be a good idea, just so we have more structured format to work with. Also can we make a book called 'The tales of old Leonard' as recognised literature in this universe? A compilation of short tales about Banan and his most faithful follower, detailing all the fanciful requests made of Leonard by Banan, written by some bard who took an interest.
Harkening back to the mushroom people, what if we made them the silent influencers of the world, gently guiding the other races through history with the use of hallucinogenic spores that generate prophetic images for their chosen recipient. Over time people see this as divine intervention from a higher force when really it's just some sentient mushrooms, I dunno, make of it what you will.

It was a warm summers night as I walked along the worn path, swathes of corn swayed gently in the cooling breeze, their rippling movements giving one the sense of being in a sea of gold. The city of Altura lay as a bright speck on the horizon, its marble towers jutting forth into the heavens. It felt good to be away from the noise and smell. My attention was soon drawn to the path ahead of me, having caught some small movement in the corner of my eye, small specks of dust fluttered softly through the air, giving off brilliant glimmers of silver as they caught the moonlight. Immediately I was enchanted by their dance, the natural grace they possessed as they swirled toward me, ensnaring me in their embrace. Suddenly my eyes grew heavy and a weariness took over my bones, promptly I fell asleep.

I awoke to distant screams and crashes, the scent of smoke filled my nostrils and a fierce red light filled my vision. Altura was ablaze, it's people yelling out in anguish as the flames washed over their homes and devoured all they loved. Their pain and suffering became my own as I collapsed to my knees in hopelessness, tears unbidden, came to my eyes and washed the horrific images away. The flames died down and disappeared, leaving only the moon to light the landscape, the image of Altura still burned in my vision as I looked about in confusion, trying to make sense of what had transpired. It had only been a vision, a sign of what was to come, with due haste I cut through the fields of gold to the city of Altura, the people had to be warned.

Are we going to delve into the creation theory behind the world, or will we just make it up for each individual culture as we go? I'm thinking, big ass primordial being just weaving stars n shit, so intent on that task that he isn't even aware of all sub-products his work is creating i.e. powerful beings that could be thought of as gods becoming unintentional, physical manifestations of each individual sun that's created. Who in turn go off on their own chaotic creation spree, and then *poof*, we got our planet.
I'm definitely interested in this. How heavy will the themes be in this world build, as far as historical events go?
I'm awfully new, but I'd love to give this a shot if you'll have me.
