Gaaah! Sorry guys.

My Internet was disconnected for quite a period of time there... I had no way of telling anyone about my disappearance, but that's why...

Umm... is there a point where I could join back in any time soon? Anything worth knowing since I last posted...? o-o
name: Lysero Kanada
code name: Thanatos
Appearance:

Faction: Rebels
Personality: Lysero addresses everyone in a holier-than-thou manner. He dishes out condescending remarks to all who talk to him, and often shows his superiority complex off even in his body language. He's often not one to look at the ground, but instead high above everyone else. It would be a rare occasion to see Lysero without a gentlemanly yet mocking smile on his face, even in the heat of combat.

He is ruthless in combat, however. He enjoys seeing his enemies fall before him, battered and bloody. Despite his passive attitude outside of battle, he is not one to be counted out once confronted.

Bio: Lysero has been a long-time assassin performing infamous kills in the dead of night. He joined the rebels claiming that a new rule would mean he would be able to retire and live happily, but it's unknown to others if there is another reason behind this. As he doesn't interact as much with his fellow soldiers, this assumption is left up in the air.

Abilities:

Metal Manipulation: Lysero can form and shape metal into various forms to suit his needs. His preferred methods for combat are to shape his metal into various swords, spears, axes and other such weapons of which he can sharpen or dull to his liking, but can create virtually anything with enough metal. He keeps chunks of metal in a satchel he carries with him. He needs physical contact with metal to manipulate or change its shape.

Fear Manipulation: Lysero emits a purple aura made of energy that branches outward looking almost like a living thing on its own. Any who get near Lysero during this time will feel intense amounts of dread and hesitance to attack him. This is not to say Lysero is invincible, as he can still be attacked and hit, but the attacker will become slower or more hesitant to do so, allowing him more time to dodge or block.

Enhanced Acrobatics: Lysero's physical attributes in the ways of agility and perception are enhanced above human capabilities, allowing him to move nimbly from place to place. He can do things acrobats are known for with more ease than normal, and as such can move in very unorthodox ways in combat; like a Capoeira dancer, some could say.
Kellerin was overjoyed to see her fellow Knights, but upon realizing what a stir the intruder had caused, her kind and cat-like smile became a small smirk, and eventually a look of concern.

She was told to pursue the intruders, and she had no hesitance with that order. A quick nod, and ignored any quips the Jester may have spat at her. At the same time that Midgard had left the Citadel, Kellerin had walked slowly out into the hallway and up in front of a large window. She looked down at the marvelous view of the city for a moment, taking it in, and gaining the desire to preserve its beauty.

She took off her cat ears, letting them ruffle on the floor, and gently took off her swirly glasses, putting them in her pocket. She then pulled out her Tome. Torn, stitched and in ruin, she ran her fingers along its edges. She took a deep breath, and released its power.

The book disappeared, and a visor/headset formed on Kellerin's face. Five small, flying robots appeared behind her.

"The Cerulean Knight, Niflheim...I will do what I can to discover the capabilities of our foes. You all have my word."

With that, she ordered two of her drones to fire their cannons, which broke the glass with ease. She lowered two of them, and stood on top of them. Rising them back into the air, she flew forward and out the window, using the two drones as steps of sorts to stay in flight.

She made a dive diagonally downwards, and as she did so, clicked on her visor. She saw many heat signatures from living individuals, but as she got closer to the ground, could make out the figure of Midgard in her line of sight.

She accelerated her drones as fast as she could, and after a small while flying and descending, she was now on the same street Midgard was on. She flew slightly higher than the street so as to not bash into any civilians, but maintained visibility with Midgard.

Once she felt she wouldn't fly into anyone, she lowered herself to Midgard's side as he ran.

"Which one is he? I never did get a good look." she questioned him.
Definitely in!
Kellerin screeched in her tracks at the sudden surprise. Out of all the people she had met in her life, this man was the one she trusted least of all. His menacing yet gentle appearance contrasted with Kellerin's upbeat yet sinister attitude, and it was a contrast that Kellerin could almost physically feel.

When pointed out that there were intruders, Kellerin grew suspicious. Although it couldn't be seen behind her spiral-patterned glasses, she raised an eyebrow at the statement. She crossed her arms once he directed her attention to the vents.

"Well, I certainly don't hear anything... why are you here anyway, huh? Shouldn't you be in the meeting like a good little boy? Why are you playing hide and seek when there's an assembly going on?"

Her demeanor towards the Jester was definitely... different from how she acted around everyone else. Her lack of trust for him was also out of concern for The Superior. Being around a masked man with a rather unnatural presence to him made her feel anxious at any given moment when The Superior was not in her sight.

"But... if there are intruders, this... can't be ignored."

Her face grew serious if even a little bit more than usual.

"Where is Sachiro? Is she at the meeting? We need to ensure her safety as a top priority."
I kinda like the idea of AU, if only because I don't see there ever being a threat that could possibly be made more powerful than the current threats in the ongoing series. And with powerhouses that the main cast have become, they could easily take out any threat below an actual God with little issue, I think, so it may feel a bit weird that they would have a new generation take care of some powerful threat instead. Unless the premise for the next generation idea would still hold a similar feeling, like it all could have actually happened. I did an RP with a friend once where we were Genin on a team at the same time all the other teams were formed in the original series. We'd go through our own story while events from the main series such as the Sound Invasion or the Sasuke Retrieval would affect us as background details or references. It died before we could make it to Shippuden, of course, but it was a really fun and fresh concept while it lasted.

F or M as in Female or Male? It doesn't matter to me a whole lot what gender people are, to be honest. I used to be opposed to playing females, but I'm okay with either one at this point. All depends on what ya think would fit the story best. ^.^
Wow. 5 months with no responses, huh? XD

I love Naruto, so I'd be up for it. Throw your ideas at me~!
A satire or parody of VRMMO games is what I've been waiting for in an RP. I'm in 110%. XD
"...in!"

"Uhhh...?"

"Mi... llerin...!"

Slowly coming to, the blonde haired Cerulean Knight rubbed her eyes sluggishly. She didn't know what time it was. Last she remembered, she was reading a book at her desk on a war from centuries in the past, looked at the clock to see 4:30 AM, and could not remember a single thing afterwards.

She looked down at her book to see drool all over it. The pages she had laid her head on were sopping, making those two pages in particular completely illegible.

"Gah! What?! I can't believe I did that! I ruined history! I RUINED PRECIOUS HISTO-"

"MISS KELLERIN!" a voice boomed behind her.

She fell over in a panic, still only half-awake, and onto the hard floor of The Ultimatum's grand library. She stared up at the ceiling in a daze, and for what felt like eternity, it was just her and her view of the ceiling.

"Wow... the world looks so much darker than I remember. Is this even real life...? And... and the sky. Why is the sky... made of wood...? Did... did reality change? And... I missed it?"

It wasn't much longer that an official-looking man walked into her awed gaze with a pitiable look on his face. He stared down at her, and she stared back up at him.

"Yeah? What is it, Tommy? Did you get a blister?"

The man sighed and replied in a tired voice, as if this was normalcy around here.

"My name isn't Tommy... Miss Kellerin, you had a meeting today, didn't you? You and the other Knights were to meet in the council chambers. You overslept. By about thirty minutes. They're probably already discussing matters without you."

Kellerin's trance-filled gaze became much more clear, and then she hopped to her feet gracefully.

"Oh my god... they're going to be SO mad at me! Gah, and that Jester's probably gonna be there, too. He's such a meany-butt! Pfft..."

"Miss, I would advise against such an attitude toward him. He is your superior in the grand scheme of things, after all."

She crossed her arms and stormed past the soldier, heading for the exit.

"I don't care, Billy! He wears a mask, and he doesn't show his face, he conceals his identity, and he even hides his true appearance from others!"

"Those are all practically the same thing, Miss..."

"Johnny, stop bugging me or I won't give you a candy the next time you find something valuable!" she blurted out frustratingly, and then exited the library and turned around the corner once she got into the hall. The man let out a sigh of relief before turning to clean up the mess Kellerin had left behind on her desk.

She briefly poked her head into the room one final time while his back was turned.

"Oh! And thanks for waking me up, Onimaru!"

The man felt like blood vessels had popped all over.

"Where did you even get that name from?! My name is..."

But as he turned around, she was already gone. Presumably heading for the meeting she was late for.

"Bah... forget it..." he muttered, and returned to his duties.

Dashing through the hall and knocking anyone over who dared get in her way, Kellerin was running as if for her life. Given the pedestal she placed The Superior on, it had might as well be for her life.

"Just gotta get there! Move it, everyone!"
Appearance:

Name: Kellerin "Kelly" Vendextrus
Title: Niflheim, the Cerulean Knight
Age: 75. Physically 24.
Faction: The Ultimatum
Personality: Kellerin is a quirky and fun-loving individual, as can be seen at a first glance of her wide smile, swirly glasses hiding the eyes and fake cat ears she wears atop her head. She tries to turn her research into something fun for her and her subordinates. She often likes to treat those serving her as Elementary School children of which she is the teacher for. Giving allies cute nicknames and handing out candy when someone does something impressive in her division, she can never be viewed as a threat to anyone except for those who know her especially well; a list which grows shorter with each passing day. People often wonder how someone whom appears so dimwitted and carefree became Niflheim, leader of the Intelligence Division.

The truth of the matter is, Kellerin was chosen because of her true personality. She has done her best to hide it, but she has the innate desire to attain knowledge at any cost. For the pursuit of knowledge she would sooner save a book than a low-level subordinate, the only exceptions being her fellow Division leaders and Sachiro, of which she holds the utmost respect for.

Her strong lust for knowledge often leads to avoidable deaths of her squads through the sheer anticipation to add to the vast collection of knowledge accumulated over the years. Blinded by her desires, she'll heartlessly rip apart any obstacle standing between her and her goal.

She can be quick to anger if the right buttons are pressed. She's self-conscious about her appearance, especially regarding wrinkles or weight. Anyone who points out she may have these flaws will receive a vicious fury deceiving of her nature. Those who badmouth or threaten her fellow knights will also receive her sadistic side.

History: Kellerin, before joining The Ultimatum, was a mercenary and assassin for hire, working for the highest bidder. She was once hired by a group of anti-Ultimatum conspirators to kill a fairly high-ranking officer. She accepted the offer immediately after seeing the payout it would give, and made her way to the location.

Needless to say, her assassination failed, and she was captured after being overwhelmed by soldiers. She confessed all she knew about the conspiracy, and the group who hired her was soon tracked down and killed.

After what she did, some wished the death sentence upon her. After a personal visit from Sachiro Harime, a decision was made which would shock those around them.

Kellerin didn't know why it was happening, or from where it came from, but Sachiro had offered her a place as leader of the Intelligence Division. To this day, she doesn't understand why she was made this offer, but felt that The Superior could see something in her she couldn't see in herself.

She was given a tome, and her studies began immediately. She was given a second chance at life, and no longer had to worry about where she would sleep or what she would eat. She owed it to those around her to ensure she held up her end of the bargain, which meant ensuring any and all knowledge was preserved for the future.

Tome: Furu Meikai

Her Tome is a small blue book with marks and stitches all over it, appearing as if it has been scarred and destroyed many times. Its spine is a light green and seems partially bound by tape.

When activated, the tome becomes a visor which can identify any and all objects clearly in her line of sight, which is up to 250 meters with the visor active. Organics appear red and inorganic creations appear blue.

The tome also spawns five flying robotic drones big enough to only barely stand on. These drones can be destroyed, but reconstruct themselves regardless of how much damage is dealt to them. They can self-destruct, causing immense damage to anyone within 20 feet of the blast, but will take 3 posts to reconstruct rather than immediately after being destroyed by normal means. They are armed with laser cannons, and can transform into handguns for Kellerin to use manually, or into energy daggers. Normally however, they move according to Kellerin's thoughts. Visualizing where she wants them to go, they will proceed to that destination. If she commands them to shoot either vocally or internally, they will.
