@shylarahYeah he would repeat his name, but he wouldn't really react an incredible amount since she did shout at him a few times.

Also, feel free to post again as there's not much for me to do yet until things are more settled.
@shylarahSo long as she asks since a lot of his annoyance comes from people touching and running D:
Dumb kids don’t know what’s good for them and when to shut up, it seemed. The girl was especially annoying and all the more reason why he hated children. They were nothing but a nuisance and didn’t know their place, always needy and pretty useless overall. Maybe if the girl could fight, sure, but she couldn’t so that made her completely useless to them. The guy having a cry about someone he barely knew was certainly annoying too, he barely knew Cedric enough to act like he was something akin to family. Just what an overall annoying bunch this lot turned out to be, but hopefully something akin to possible potential might show through. Nymira was no better, all she was to everyone was some diplomat who didn’t know whether anything she did would actually work for her, she was just following her father’s orders. It was quite pathetic really, none of them had a mind of their own or could see the truth.

Ignoring the girl as if she didn’t exist he just continued his tea, letting Taliya sort everything out. She was typically tougher when it came to annoying people so it definitely relieved him of some pressure to speak up when she was in control of the situation. Oh well, once things calmed down this group should get somewhat more competent than they were currently being because right now they were a complete mess and acting like idiots. Keeping to himself he cared little about the conversation, it was all things he knew about and was just grinding in the truth at this point. It was the typical blind devotion they were suffering from without knowing why they followed the Saints, only that they were told they were good and that they were to be followed. It was certainly annoying when they came across such people, especially when all they could do is tell them that they’re wrong with very little evidence they could present immediately.

Frowning when he realised there wasn’t any tea left for him he looked to Taliya as she mentioned his name, staring at her before he closed his flask and slid off his box with little effort. “Thanks, I try”, he spoke before walking to the door, barely giving the others a glance as he gave the door a few knocks, “If you don’t want food then don’t come crying to me because I do and I’m not going to accommodate your ‘special needs’…” When the doors were open he made his way off along the hall, not exactly going fast as he fiddled with the flask. He was pretty hungry and wanted some more tea. Whether they were hungry or just wanting some comfort food he didn’t really care, they got food through pretty regularly so there was never really a supply problem, just so long as they didn’t go through all of their food.

Looking back to see them actually following he soon sighed, looking forward again. “You know, she ain’t always angry. The Church have just hardly been kind to Magi like her and I. You’ll eventually learn that they don’t want people like you existing. Why else would they kill Cedric and try to kill you lot?” Opening a fair sized door that was part of a pair he entered the mess hall. It was rather cosy with a gentle light and wooden tables and chairs all over the place yet looking rather neat and tidy. It was of a generous size, but hardly looked like it barely got used at all, especially when there were several small groups chatting amongst themselves all while having food and drinks, mostly lunches and a refresher. When the people noticed Kensen they gave him a way to which he gave a wave back as he headed off to the front of the mess hall where a warm glow originated from. There was a few staff members there who were busy washing up, but otherwise the food was in a kind of buffet bar style set up kept warm in lids. There was a fair variety of food but not too much that it would go to waste, just enough to keep everyone going for the day with some containers sporting more food than some others which seemed to had been expressed through the demand they had for certain food in the past.

“Now see here. You be nice to the people here and don’t get greedy. Grab a plate and take what you want…or don’t, I don’t really care”. He didn’t really care much, he was hungry and wanted to eat and didn’t much care about what they were wanting to do. Grabbing mostly meat with some metal tongs he soon retreated to a nearby table, relaxing for a moment as he rubbed his head. What a noise those guys were and not very grateful either, especially when they were fixing their Machina and having saved them from certain death. He probably would be better in temperament if they hadn’t acted like a bunch of ungrateful kids, but it didn’t appear as if any of them respected others who gave them aid.
@KalamadeaNot wanting to post or will I just go ahead? o: Just to get your character set up again in the secret area like you never left
Kai was pretty glad that driving the shuttle was something he definitely didn’t need to do now, or hopefully at all for a while when given that much stress to be quick and drive fast. If he was going to learn driving in the future he’d rather it just be for general use and not for emergencies or warzones, he didn’t need that in his life. Having Leto decide to take over driving was probably for the best so long as he didn’t jolt the vehicle around and cause a lot of discovered and possibly the death of Viral in the process, that would just make the whole thing pointless. Everybody was needing seen to, but Viral definitely more than anyone else. For now he was going to have to help out his brother and the others with getting Viral into the back without jolting him too much, definitely a fair big task to undertake if he was to survive. It didn’t matter if he got covered in blood doing it, he was already bloodied and bruised after the last battle.

As the twins moved over to Viral they both moved in sync to get Viral hoisted off the ground safely and with as limited jolting as possible. Despite everyone helping they both felt pretty weak, having used up most of their energy fighting. It was a bad time for everyone and hopefully the hospital hadn’t actually been blown up in the fighting. Viral went a little nuts at the end and blew up a fair bit, so hopefully he hadn’t actually ended up blowing up his only salvation too. Once he was in the vehicle the twins both moved over to their own seats, Choi feeling more relieved than Kai for finding the time to relax. Choi wasn’t very good at handling stress and the possibility of death, it just wasn’t a very nice thing to experience and he was going to be stressing out about it for the rest of the day until everybody was stable once more. He especially didn’t like it when someone like Yumi was clearly upset, but there wasn’t much he could do about that either.

Viral really didn’t like the whole moving process, especially when it made it even worse to try and stay awake. He had already lost a fair volume of blood so feeling dizzy along with the pain and exhaustion was not a good combination. Everything was just a swirl in his eyes and he could no longer really see, just the sounds of others around him that sometimes faded briefly. Feeling the solid surface of the vehicle again he felt some relief, but not a lot as everything just continued to remain bad. He was trying to hang on but he didn’t know how much longer he could keep it up and remain awake. Hearing Yumi only slightly as she decided being quiet was better for him he grunted, moving his head slightly. “If…I died…Aito would kill me…” he spoke slowly, sounding like he was losing it somewhat, “It was…my…mission…”
@shylarahIf you want you can go ahead and make a post o/
Kensen didn’t actually care that much about the guy but him mentioning Cedric was concerning. Just what was that guy trying to do, anyway? Training random Magi like that, it bothered him greatly. Did they need more Magi? And if so then why not tell this guy he was from their group? As he sat there calmly and minding his own business he sipped his tea looking completely uninterested in Ethan’s answers, sighing lightly. This was going to be awkward and he wasn’t going to want to be a part of it, so keeping to himself was pretty essential for him to not blow up in front of everyone. He wasn’t very patient when it came to other people, they just annoyed him quite too much. Looking to Taliya when she bluntly revealed his death he turned slightly on the box, continuing with his tea and not giving a care about Ethan’s reaction.

Better Taliya giving him the news than himself, seeing how she was best for giving out such news without getting all stupidly sympathetic. Feeling pretty annoyed already as Ethan started to get all upset he let out a sigh and continued minding his own business. If the kid had no relation to Cedric other than Cedric teaching him some magic then he didn’t know Cedric at all. It was a little frustrating, like someone crying over a celebrity which Cedric essentially was in that place he was in if he really was somewhat popular. What an annoyance this was turning out to be, the kid was 18 and was bugging Taliya enough for her to lash out. Ethan was only a little bit younger and couldn’t handle the death of another Magi; he really was living in a tiny bubble if that was surprising.

Feeling rather annoyed at the guy not letting up on crying for Cedric he closed his tea flask and put it aside, scoffing. “Tch, you’re all crying over him but you barely knew him. Yeah sure, he was friendly to you and taught you a few tricks but did you seriously know him other than his name? If he didn’t even mention us by name at the very least to you or who he actually was, then you didn’t know him at all”, he spoke quickly, folding his arms, “Just really? What was he, a father figure who never told you his secrets? About us? About Mutebo? He was nice to you and told you nothing, just typical of Cedric. He might as well had been a celebrity that you were swooning over compared to a true father figure. Can we just move on to more important subjects? Your blubbering is really getting on my nerves and your disrespect to Taliya is annoying me”.
Kai figured there might be a vehicle somewhere in the city, it would be pretty bad to go out and try to find one. If you were a soldier and you needed to get into the city quickly, you wouldn’t fly in without some armour like a vehicle. High class soldiers were normally durable enough to withstand an explosion or fast enough to escape one so there was no problem regarding whether they were just going to get blown out of the sky; although, when it came down to it he sure did hope that he wasn’t only going to come across vehicles that had met that kind of fate. It was a dire state of emergency he was in and absolutely had to find a vehicle that was still functioning. There was a lot of vehicles around, but a lot of them were either partially destroyed or too small for what they needed it for. There had to be some sort of military vehicle still out there that he could take, at least one that was big enough and still functioning.

Just when he thought he was out of luck and ultimately going to fail he soon spotted a small military carrier sticking out of some rubble that didn’t look completely destroyed. It appeared to had been abandoned because it got stuck and they didn’t want to spend too much time trying to get it out, or at least that’s what he hoped. Flying down quickly he started clearing the rubble by blasting it apart, not much caring for his Ki levels at this point as he tried to clear the front. Blasting away much of the large pieces of rubble he quickly jump into the still open hatch at the back, rushing to the front before jumping into the driver’s seat.

Kai had never actually driven anything before. He had always either been a passenger or travelling in a pod which was always on autopilot. He knew how the buttons worked, he had watched it before, but now he had to figure out how to get it started. Looking around desperately for what might bring it to life he found what was a pretty basic key sticking in the ignition. Almost thinking that they would have something more like a button to get things going he turned the keys, holding them in place before gasping as the vehicle came to life. Well that was lucky, even though it was slow to start it still functioned fine. Feeling a little nervous he looked around at the controls before settling to try and turn it out of the dusty rubble, managing to get it moving slightly before it started to turn while rising into the air. Well that was done, now he had to get out of there without crashing the vehicle and take it back to the others.

Viral in the meantime was feeling really rough with things not getting better the longer he was here for. He didn’t know how much longer he could stay awake for as his lack of non-blurry vision was making it hard to see anything that might indicate that he was still conscious. Hearing Leto speak of him just made him angry too, as if he was needing to survive just because he wouldn’t be called a ‘true man’ otherwise. Such words were certainly one way to make him angry, but it wasn’t as if he had the energy or ability to tell him otherwise. Feeling that it was growing difficult to keep active with every passing second he was soon alerted to the sounds of someone else talking nearby, only thing he didn’t know who it was but assumed it was some sort of doctor. He wondered what the man could even do to help him, it’s not like he could be dealt with here immediately in the dust and from the sounds of it he had no vehicle. Slowly raising his head he grit his teeth through the struggle, trying to look to see who the man was through the blur that was probably blood in his eyes. He didn’t know much other that they needed a vehicle to receive any treatment, but who knew when that would be found since one of the twins went off to find one.

Luckily enough, it wasn’t long until the sound of an energised vehicle could be heard with a rather nervous Kai trying to drive it. Kai was barely old enough to drive legally, nevermind doing something like this. Trying to land it he had to try and force it to stop first, swinging around in a circle before landing it properly with the engine still running. That was a fair chore and scary too, especially when he didn’t know if he would ever be able to land it properly. He had left the hatch open, but it didn’t seem like he had the chance to consider trying to close it anyway considering how long it felt he took trying to get the vehicle. Either way, Leto was definitely the only one qualified enough to drive it when he wasn’t even 18 yet and had never had the responsibility to drive a military standard vehicle with people inside, one who was in a critical condition especially.
Kensen had every much had enough of Nymira and her insistence. She didn’t know him, all she knew him for was his race and nothing else. It was always the case with people who weren’t Dimuran, but to have another Dimuran shout at him about honour and not going back to his clan was just a bit too much for him. He had done a lot to get where he was now and if Nymira wasn’t happy with it then he was just going to have to try and ignore her without deciding to punch her in the face about it. She was straight up attacking him simply because she only slightly knew his circumstances for leaving the clan and thinking it wasn’t that bad for him to return. Just who did she think she was? His mother? Well he was old enough to not need to be told what to do so sucked to be her.

While it did make him angry, he was fine with simply walking away and letting her rage on while someone else dealt with her. It was rather disrespectful to badger the one that had saved you. He was just going to get tea for now instead of having to put up with her. Maybe if she hushed down enough he would make her tea too, but that would probably have to wait until Taliya was done talking to them anyway. They all had a lot of explaining to do considering they were attacked by someone who didn’t attack at random. Whether they were going to talk to them about it or not wasn’t his concern, but rather Taliya’s since she was in charge of this area and their progress much more than him. He may have a high ranking second to hers, but she was just stronger mentally and knew how to get her point across better than him when he was considered ‘too polite’ compared to her.

As he headed in he went to the nearby tearoom instead of going off to the front room where Taliya was likely gathering the vagabonds, there was no way that group were otherwise. They had a full camping set, several horses and a combat Machina for protection, there was no way those people were just travellers going from one place to the next like they were selling something. Maybe once that Machina of theirs was fixed up they’d be able to find out more about its purpose and whether it was an illegal model. There was combat Machinas that were fine for protecting people, but then there was some that had illegal upgrades that basically made it almost superhuman in comparison to a butler Machina. It should only take a day or something to get the Machina fixed if the mechanics were on schedule, then maybe that was done they could really hammer into them how dangerous combat Machina were. Those things could kill with incredible ease and the Church hated them, so no wonder they had gotten into trouble lately.

Once his tea was all made he flasked it up and decided to get on through into the room where the discussion was being held, waiting for it to be unlocked for him before sneaking on in. He hoped he would’ve avoided most of the discussion, but rather than coming in mid casual conversation he came in at a rather awkward point involving a Cedric. Keeping near the door he remained looking pretty calm, still in his goggles and scarf combo hiding his expression. Well this had gotten awkward real quick and it was up to the newcomers to explain themselves and whether this was just a regular Cedric, only that it definitely wasn’t. Looking to Taliya momentarily he slowly turned away to leave only to be caught out by her and asked to remain. Sighing lightly he wandered over close to her, lightly jumping up onto a storage crate himself as if the wind carried him and sat cross-legged. Maybe he should’ve brought some tea for Taliya too, but with the doors locked after he entered again it would just be too awkward asking the guards to open them once more.

“Guess I am stuck here…with them…” he sighed, “…Talking about all of this…” He really didn’t want to be here right now when it concerned Cedric. No doubt once they were told the kid was going to flip his lid then they’ll have to control him and it would just be an overall bad time for onlookers. It definitely didn’t make him happy, but knowing as much as he did it was only right for him to be here. Pulling down his scarf a little he simply sighed heavily, leaning back a little. “How much of Cedric did you know exactly? How old are you even to be wandering across the land looking for him? With a combat Machina, no less. Did Cedric give it to you? How long ago did you last see him? It’s kind of important we know too. He was a friend of Taliya’s, you see…”
Sounds pretty good to me! If Kalamadea is still all for remaining in the RP, maybe he can chatter with Demoko in the hideaway?
