Hello there, all. I am moxalt. I was first introduced to play-by-post roleplaying about two years ago, and have been playing sporadically, under various guises, since then. Unfortunately, I still lack time on a horrific scale, as GCSEs hang above me like the sword of Damocles. I like sci-fi, post-apocalyptic, and nation roleplay the most- but also like a spot of high fantasy from time to time.

Is Czechoslovakia up for grabs?
So is this still happening anytime soon? Ever? Are factions still up for grabs? OOC up?
Could we start this RP with a broad Spanish Civil War type communist/anarchist front, and then have schisms develop, opening up the possibility of another left faction in America? In reality, there would have most likely been a split between the Leninist/RSDLP inspired factions in the American radical left, and between the classical socialists/orthodox Marxists/anarcho-syndicalists. If the first is taken, could I take the second if and when such a schism develops?

Greetings. I am a person, as I assume many of you are. Once upon a time I frequented this here Guild (after the original relaunch but before the relaunch relaunch), so I am vaguely familiar with some of you (though I spent more time in the IRC than on the actual forums). There are things I like, and things I dislike.
Of the former: MUDs (BatMUD, HellMOO, British Legends), IRC (foonetic, portlane.se), food (who doesn't), pool (and snooker, but I'm not very good), ping-pong, racquet sports in general, games (OpenMW, Nexuiz), competitive debating, GNU/Linux, free software (as in freedom), hiking, and ... things.
Of the latter: Capitalism, glaringly bad grammar, animal cruelty, cruelty in general, computer illiteracy (which annoys me, more than anything), general knowledge deficiency, and those who entirely lack a sense of humour.
And so the hunt commences. For an RP! I like sci-fi, film noir type things, NRP, and real-lifey type things. But I can settle for just about anything.
