Stop with your Edgeworth things XD Also back, had a bit of a rough week over a few things so sorry for any delays.
It's written in a third-person perspective. This doesn't imply that the character knows the other character, it implies that the narrator knows the other character. Either way, it's generally easier on both the writer and the readers to just refer to him as "Dexter" than "The Growlithe" or something all the time.

@Lugia

Yes, I generally role-play from a third person perspective. When speaking first-person is implemented for obvious reasons. Out of dialouge though, I can use a variety of terms for him varying from the orange pokemon, Growlthe, Dexter, might even shorten names like Thassa to Thas or Dexter to Dex to save time. If Falvev knows the character though he would ask before using shortened names like that and would obviously have to learn the name before using it in the first place.

As for knowing Thassa, we did a prepatory RP together ( Me and Anlu ) to get the characters ready to jump in, which is why they knew each other.

And thank you lavulman
So... I'm kinda wondering. I mean, I assumed that you worked things out with your friend earlier, but...
well, Pearion, how is it that your character seems to know every other character right away? I mean, unless you had some sort of history set up with Ridlins' character, and I'm just making myself look like an idiot, but I mean, it just seems a little odd.

Hrm? I didn't imply that he knew Ridlin's character did I? *Reads post again* Yeah, I never implied that Falvev knew Dexter already. I mentioned they arrived shortly after but that doesn't mean they know him at all.
Falvev squirmed a bit as she devours the fish while coiled around him. Feeling them on her neck was obviously unsettling and he tumbled away as soon as it was possible before frowning, "It's not a preformance. I just got them because I thought you'd like them, you said you put off eating earlier and couldn't catch fish. Obvious solution was to get fish." He blinks and tucks himself up nervously at the comment that she was going to keep him around after all, "Thanks?...umm, you weren't. I thought you said we were making a team."

Falvev was much more comfortable with talking about the guild. "Oh well first we have to get entry. Which is fairly simple. The guild in Treasure Town has a footprint sentry, which wow....must be not having the best time in the rain..." He flicked his leaf about. Personally he liked the sun a bit better than the rain, being a grass-type, but the rain was not a bad thing for him either.

They arrived shortly after Dexter and Falvev peered into the grate before calling down, "Hope you're doing okay down there with the rain and everything!" Before sitting on the grate. A similar yell to Dexter's approach sounded throughout the area, though Falvev didn't appear as startled by it. He blinked and looked over at Thassa, "Umm...you need to stand on here too or they won't let you in, Thassa." He curled his leaf around her tail and started dragging her out of the puddle. He leds her to the grate, though with two pokemon on at once they are confused with how to react, so he moves off for her. Unfortunately Ekans' footprint is a bit nondistinct. That is to say Thassa didn't exactly have a footprint. The comment, "Whose footprint!?" Was called out....then silence as they tried to figure it out. They would have to decide between pokemon that had no footprint, as there were a few, and her other features would be hard to make out because of the rain. Eventually Falvev walked over and nudged her head down to the grate.

It would be very apparent that it was an Ekans then, and she would be cleared to enter. "See, simple." He stated before heading into the open guild ahead of her. Inside he shook off the rain from his leaf before descending the ladder inside. Which he did by leaping down the hole and tumbling. He figured that Thassa would have similar trouble descending so he kneeled at the bottom to catch her. Her body was soft enough, right?
Frey stayed staring at Nihonto, realizing what his gaze was trying to tell her. Her gaze was marred by a bone helmet of course, but she did her best to imply that she relished in the fact that things might be a bit rough on her. Wanting to solidify this fact she stated, "I could use the experience...maybe I'll end up as more than a guard when all this is said or done, or maybe I'll end up as a victim of whatever caused this 'attack'. I know what I am getting into Sir Knight."

She turns to the Sceptile afterwards, looking him and his gear over as he had her. She was indeed a bit young to be a guard, but she had pressed and pressed herself until she was able to take her place amongst them. She merely lacked the combat experience she figured that both Nihonto and this Sceptile had, "I hope to learn well from you, Sceptile. My name is Frey, and I believe I have not heard the story of your master before this, but Nihonto's skill with a blade is not a thing to be made light of." She looks up at the Typhlosion and his blade, then her own lance, which hid her blade inside it. Nihonto's blade was somewhat different. She could simply feel that looking at it, and this other old pokemon may not have had a weapon like Nihonto but surely he had skill. Frey had nothing but determination, but that was enough to see her through her the rigors of becoming a guard, and that would be enough to keep up with these two experienced fighters.

"So 'leader'." She addressed Nihonto, "Anyone else joining up? If not when do we set off, and what preparations have been made for our journey? Do we have a caravan, and entourage. Or is it just those who answered the call today?"
Falvev thought perhaps the fate of the world was a bit of a tall order to get involved with as his first mission, he just wanted to join a team after all! It should be something simple like exploring a forest and saving someone in it. Or what he had thought his first job was way back then.

When Kicks appeared, he stared at the Hitmonlee approaching and eventually grinned, "Umm...well you seem enthusiastic maybe-AH!" He winced a bit as Thassa's jaws closed around his shoulder and led him off. Though he was quite interested in the guild, he was aware that an Ekans could very easily be able to poison him if he upset it so he allowed Thassa to drag him off, waving nervously with his leaf to those he was leaving.

Once they were on their way and Thassa released him and explained, he tilted his head, "We're not looking to save the fate of the world right off the bat are we?" He asked with a small grin before stating, "Also I know you don't really have hands, but your mouth makes me nervous...poison and all. We're heading back to Treasure Town though? Maybe you can show me that burrow you were talking about."

He blinks as she looks back at him with a slightly telling glare, and backs away nervously about to suggest that maybe he should go back to Allure town and see what was going on at the guild now. He noticed she was slowing too and once he caught up with her he looked ahead, not wanting to meet her glare again, nervous as it made him. Then when she asked he turned to her, flopping his leaf to the side curiously and stating, "Uh....yeah I did. You said you liked them so I went fishing before I headed to Allure." He opened his little pouch he brought, it contained...mostly fish actually, only a few berries and a side pouch for the book. As a result the inside of the bag, and the berries, were a bit slimey.
I figured this would be a good time for Frey to show up. Be like, "Don't draw attention to yourself!" Then be like, "Oh I drew attention to myself, time to play it off coolly." Since this mostly affects Lugia, does that work out for you?@Lugia
The Cubone was not within the crowd upon Nihonto's speech, but rather on the circumference, keeping an eye out for those that were not behaving. It was not uncommon that rising tension would have to put down, and with the current topic she assumed moreso that some would grow agitated. Those that had been in contact with the locations the fire rained on. She paused her attention when Nihonto mentioned the earthquakes. She had indeed felt that prior to others on that day, her whole family did. She sighed a bit at the thought, the destruction that had followed it. And when the Sceptile wandered forward and started slandering Nihonto. This was not something she expected, but she could not say she could shove his accusations aside. The Typhlosion was a little obnoxious for an official if what she heard from other guards was true. Still, she shuffled through the crowd over to the Sceptile. Her lance jangling a little as she pressed a few poochyena out of the way.

Attempting to grab at his arm she stated, "I would suggest you relax for the moment, you can speak to Sir Nihonto about whatever foolish things he's done while you are out traveling with him." Releasing his arm, if she had grabbed it, she added, "Although I recommend not agitating him if you can help it, he has fire. I'm sure you know that, yes?" She glared up at the Typhlosion's blade before looking back and suddenly realizing she was standing next to the person Nihonto and probably most of the crowd was observing at the moment. She gave pause and looked around before straightening up and trying to think of something to say so she wouldn't look stupid. She had most certainly had enough of that with her blade training.

Staring up at Nihonto she shrugged, "I am but a simple soldier, but I would say it's my duty to go and try to solve the matter for those that cannot, if you would have me."

She grinned, actually she had rather wanted to see what the earthquakes were about ever since the fire had ripped through the sky on that day. She just never thought she would get the chance as a soldier. They would surely send more experienced adventurers out would they not, but after the Sceptile's display, it would be difficult for one to refuse one not as brash, no? Perhaps she would have to thank the Sceptile later, if she enjoyed the journey.
I think I might have Frey with Nihonto unless that group gets too big.
