@Mistress Dizzy

Nathan saw the young woman coming she seemed uncomfortable in the woods and snow but most hoqwats did, even the ones that weren't white.

"Hey," Nate said quietly. He didn't want to attract any attention and he did not want to scare the poor lady off. To make it worse he was usually quiet when he first met anyone much less some strange lady in the woods.

"Do you know where we are going? I'm mean other than a direction. I was 'post to go to someplace where there were other people like me but unless I know I don't think I"ll even be sure when I get there."

Ok, new guy Amalgam Archer mix of Oliver Queen and Jason Strongbow.
If we have too many soldiers/martial artists, we can change the focus on both characters. Creed has snapped completely and he's more like Liver-eating Johnson than anyone modern. He has returned to his savage roots and is full-on war paint mode. It's tomahawk and bowie knife time, as one writer put it, "These are the old days, the bad days, the all or nothin' days - they're back and there ain't no choices left". He's not Col. Victor Creed, he's 'TĂȘte Jaune' Yellow Head the scary blood covered boogeyman that haunted the Lakota and settler alike.

Guardian Angel is always winged, no hiding it. His greatest powers are granted only through prayer. He's even resurrected the dead. Not in the scary pet cemetery way but like Lazarus. Most of his free time is spent in prayer.

Those are the changes on the first two. The last guy is still a bit amorphous.
I have a couple of different character ideas regarding both submissions. Plus another I want to run by you but it's late here.
Looking to see if there's any interest in another superhero game. The world is similar to the Marvel cinematic universe in broad strokes. The difference is that mutants are not hunted fugitives for just being mutants. The changes started slowly in the 19th Century with mutants finding acceptance everywhere from sideshow and carnival work to specialized work in the military, medical fields, mining, anywhere mutant powers could help or entertain.

Mutants were fully integrated by WWII and a mutant with any useful talent can write their own ticket. Only the poor sods without any useful power are sol.

The players are part of a regular sanctioned unit that deals with super powered threats, tricky terrorist or hostage situations and direct as well as clandestine actions.

Characters would be the kind of people who would fit in with Special operations forces and elite police, anti terrorism, covert ops.

Is there enough interest to start? Players would need to be patient with my skills interfacing with the rpg features. I am new to roleplayer guild but not pbp rpgs

A barrier, not one of the physical world, but in the physical world and spiritual as well unless Nate's eyes were cheated by some deceit. Would this barrier stop him though? That was the question and seeing a way to slip between the layers of the barrier he tried it.

Success! Now to find whatever was at the end of this figurative rainbow. Nathan was utterly silent in the snow. He was brought up in the rainforest and this forest was as easy as strolling through a camas meadow by comparison. Something moved at the corner of his vision and he froze.

Black and feathered, he was certain it was something from the Outer Dark, but it was worse. Ba'Yak! The damnable Raven oh, he was disguised as just another raven, but Nate knew him, could see his true nature. Raven was a trickster and a jealous, covetous, tattletale and rumor monger. If he spotted Nathan, he would be sure to tell someone, if for no other reason than to cause problems. Raven excelled at that.

Before he was selected by Thunderbird, Nathan could walk up on a doe with fawns and touch her on the flanks unaware. Now he could see where Raven was looking and decided he might as well give the trickster something to talk about, even if Ba'Yak would be in the dark as to the reason.

Sidling closer, Nathan used his oar in the classic maneuver used to flick sand in an enemy's eyes. Nathan just used the snow instead and with a speed he could have never matched before snapped a bucket-load of snow into Raven knocking him from his perch and blinding him while the black bird struggled to get free of the clinging snow and shake himself until he could see again Nathan moved quickly and quietly out of sight.

By then Nate was passed the meddlesome Raven and carefully watching for other creatures both above and below. He could still hear Raven complaining to himself, Raven would speak whether or not there was anyone to listen or not. He was a noisy creature.

Inside combat, Creed will avoid killing until they force him to. He has fought with defined rules of engagement for the last seventy years. That sense of guilt at operating outside even the least restrictive framework will fuel a smoldering rage.

Victor doesn't mind killing his enemies, but likes to act within his moral framework.

Outside the games if he doesn't have contact with other prisoners, he will use the time to train, meditate and test the limits of his world.

Creed, once it is clear he must kill will do so with speed and efficiency. If they escape he'll act as best he can to get as many victims free and faraway as possible.

It will be very interesting to see how he reacts going from a respected member of society back to being a second class citizen.

And perhaps the triggering event that was avoided for this Victor will be faced wherever he winds up

The mountain side was cold, but Nathaniel was used to that. In fact, men in his tribe had gone naked much of the year until the start of the twentieth century. This snow was deep but dry not wet and clingy. The better question was 'what in the world was he doing here?'

Thunderbird rarely 'talked to Nathaniel directly, for which Nate was truly grateful, but he had directed Nate to this mountain. If Thunderbird knew the reason or reasons, he was playing it close to the vest.

He had packed for winter hiking but he was too warm and took off his jacket tying it to the outside of his pack. His war paddle was in his hand, it made a handy walking stick and Nate was wearing black leather and kevlar combat boots.

What am I doing here? he asked himself then saw a strange sight. The path ahead was shimmering and not with heat waves or an illusion brought on by snow-blindness. He walked forward until he was directly in front of it and reached out a hand to touch it. He felt resistance.

"So that's what an invisible barrier looks like," he said in surprise.
@Hitman

Sorry I had fixed it up this morning and somebody hit a power pole or dug up a line. I get it done when the power comes back.

I've updated the character section. I am not too sure how much power a full manifestation of the god should have. Let me know if I need to tweak it more.

Sorry about the short bio the first time. Nate really was my best friend, my first partner as a police officer at that village, and his life history matched. I forget not everyone knew my friend. Nor his personality. He was a good man.
