@Razqua He wasn't necessarily too OP, I just question a 12 ft monster being stopped by those wounds. But the post was absoultely fine. :]

Well A giant axe smashed through the monster's kneecap. Giant monster or no you don't really get back up from that.
My first post is up. I hope it's acceptable. Please give me feedback. I hope I didn't make Kragen seem too OP in the fight.
Kragen walks toward his destination of Urenda. He keeps himself alert mostly out of paranoia rather than any real reason. He wasn't yet in viewing distance of the city. He walked through a thickly wooded area. He hoped that this supposed beacon of civilization contained the gold he needed for his plan. It would have to be quite a bit if he hoped to sway the mind of a god.

Suddenly the mark on Kragen's back began to burn. This feeling was less of a pain now to Kragen and more of a sixth sense. Kragen quickly pulled his axe from his back dropping his bag of supplies. With his eyes he looked all around him for any sign of movement. The mark burned more intensely. The demon was getting closer and fast. Suddenly Kragen heard above him a loud flapping sound above him.

He looked up to see a massive creature at least twice his size rapidly descending towards him. The monster resembled a minotaur with black fur. It had massive wings allowing it to fly. It's head was like that of a lion with massive sharp fangs. It's hands had huge claws that would put any animal to shame.

Kragen quickly jumped backward as not to be crushed by the demon as it landed. When Kragen jumped he smashed his back into a large tree that was behind him. It hurt like hell but he couldn't allow that slow his movement. The monster landed and knocked over a few nearby small trees. It rushed towards Kragen who was still recovering from the blow to his back. It struck out with one of it's claws towards the large man. Though with delayed reaction Kragen jumped away from the strike but not quite in time. The tips of two of the claws cut into Kragen's body through his shirt. The cuts weren't very deep but they hurt like hell and blood dripped from the wounds.

Kragen landed safely this time from his jump and quickly grabbed at his chest where was cut with his left hand still holding his axe in the other. Quickly realizing the folly of removing his hands from his weapon he got himself back in position. The monster other claw quickly came toward Kragen. Kragen realizing that continued attempt to flee from the attacks would only get him killed prepared his axe to strike against the monster. As the claw came within distance Kragen smashed his axe into it stopping it. The monster's hand had been split in two. It cried out in pain gripping the wound. Kragen took advantage of the opening and leaped forward while striking with his axe. As he landed he buried the axe into the demon's knee. Black blood poured from both wounds. The monster quickly swiped at kragen with back of it's good hand. Kragen held to his axe as he was flung like a doll away from the demon into a nearby tree. Kragen's back hit the tree with some force. Thankfully there was no breakage but he was now in considerable pain. Thankfully the monster was too wounded to move very far from it's current location. The demon was roaring in pain while kneeling with it's wounded leg.

Kragen seeing that the monster wasn't going to be moving anytime soon planned his next attack carefully. He noticed a tree of considerable size close to him. He got up and immediately began cutting it with his axe. After a few minutes of cutting into it the tree was ready to fall. Kragen cut it down in such a way it would land on the demon. The tree fell and smashed into the monster. The demon in futility tried to move away from the tree as it fell. As a result the tree smashed the monster back. It still lived with most of it's bones broken it continued to roar in pain. Kragen went over to the beast and chopped off it's head putting it out of it's misery.

After the battle Kragen allowed himself the night to rest. He bandaged his wounds and ate some of his food. The next day he walked for hours on end until he eventually reached Urenda. He walked into the destroyed city with the head of the demon he has slayed the night before displayed by being tied to his axe. He was well aware he had amassed a small amount of fame as a demon hunter and hoped the display would help somebody of importance recognize him. He wasn't much for showing off but he had to get attention if he was ever going to accomplish his goal of slaying a god.
sorry I haven't posted. My computer has been getting fixed for the past couple days. I just got it fixed.
@OriorIt might be a bit early to ask this but when do you plan to get the first IC post up? I'm itching to get into it.
@Orior Everything looks good.

@AllIsOneSorry if you misunderstood. I wasn't saying that Kragen's beard is huge(although i does cover half his face). I was saying that Kragen himself was huge(6 feet 8 inches in height). I mentioned the red beard because red is a less common hair color so it's a distinguishing feature.
@AllIsOne
Cool. I like how you tied in my character to your reason for being in the city. I am curious though. Does Jakken know what Kragen looks like at all? He's a huge red bearded guy carrying a ridiculously large axe so he's kinda hard to miss.
This seems fantastic. Expect a character sheet from me at some point in the near future, at any rate. Incidentally, this seems like the sort of setting that one could easily create an expy of Guts in, just for the sheer implied brutality that's omnipresent throughout Raeth. So there's an idea for somebody else entirely.

I kinda hate to admit it but my character was definitely heavily influenced by Guts. Also for Orior's sake I will point out that Guts is the main character in a pretty well known manga called Berserk. It's a very brutal dark fantasy story.
@Razqua

Accepted! Great use of lore! I really like your character, I think he fits the RP very well. I shall post him in the Character Tab as soon as I can.
EDIT: Actually, I added Starter Packs! So please update and then I will move him.

Thank you. It's done. I added the mark I mentioned in the backstory as an ability so I guess that uses a skill point. Ive decided ill leave the remaining skill point unspent for now.

Edit: Something just occurred to me. Since our character will be gaining more skill point over the course of the rp shouldn't we be posting them in the character sheet section so we can edit them later?

Name:
Kragen Mallor(AKA Demon Hunter Kragen)

Age:
32

Race:
Human

Appearance:
Kragen is 6'8" in height. He has light colored skin. He has short red hair. A beard covers the lower half of his face. There is a massive scar that goes across his face. He wears a black cloak.Under the cloak is fairly basic clothing. Attached to his back by a sling of sorts is a massive axe. Under his clothing his body is covered in scars from many battle wounds over the years. He also has a strange mark on his backside.

Personality:
To others Kragen usually seems like an very uncaring person. He rarely stops to listen to or respond to anyone. This is because he knows he has things he absolutely has to do and can not allow himself to be distracted from it. Still on the inside he is a very damaged person and everything he does is to ensure that others do not share his suffering.

Morality/Religion:
Kragen doesn't care much for any of the gods. He absolutely hates Derirt and all of his evil creations. He doesn't like him but Kragen is devoted to finding Kurladt.
Kragen doesn't have much of a system of morality. He simply feels an obligation to better the world by ridding it of monsters(even human ones) that would hurt the innocent. Other than that Kragen doesn't much care what happens to other people.

Biography:
Kragen was born into the old world. His father Krogan was famous in his city as a dragon slayer. Krogan and a team of warriors had been sent to deal with a dragon who had been harassing the city named Drachech. Krogan had dealt the final blow to the beast's head with an axe called Wyrm's Bane. Ever since Wyrm's Bane had hung above the fire place in the Mallor family home.

As a young child Kragen had often dreamt of becoming a hero like his father. His older brother had already joined the city's military. Kragen's father had trained him from the age of 8 in the ways of war. Kragen's mother discouraged it. She was concerned for Kragen. She argued with the peace in the world there was no need for more soldiers. Still Kragen's fascination continued.

Then The Great Decent happened. Kragen and his family were lucky enough to get out of the city. They hid for a good while in a small village. Kragen, his brother, and his father joined the towns guard. During the winter the town was assaulted by Derirt's demons. Abominations large and small destroyed everything. While defending the town a massive monster had struck Krogan. Krogan fell to the ground and Wyrm's Bane fell to his side. Kragen having seen this ran to his father. He then grabbed Wyrm's Bane and struck the monster with it. The monster seemed to fall dead. With the demon fallen Kragen went to tend to his fathers wounds. He didn't realize the demon he had struck was still alive. The creature in it's dying act bit into Kragen's back and sent a claw through Krogan's head killing him. Kragen quickly responding shook off the beast and buried his axe's head into the monster killing it.

A black marking appeared on Kragen's back. It burned with intensity. Kragen was in a panic. He looked around and saw the other guards overwhelmed by demonic monsters. He saw a demon rip off his brothers head. Kragen in his desperation ran from the village and didn't stop running until his legs refused to move.

For a long time Kragen wandered from place to place taking whatever jobs he could get. As Kragen roamed he found himself frequently assaulted by monsters. Every time Derirt's minions neared the mark on his back burned. Over time Kragen grew to welcome the pain. It was a warning. It kept him alive. Eventually Kragen met with a cleric who told him that the mark on his back was the mark of Derirt. The mark would attract any servant of Derirt to him. Kragen with this news found himself with new purpose. He now knew who had sent the monsters that had killed his family and cursed him. It was then he decided to devote himself to killing Derirt. Upon hearing this the cleric simply told Kragen that what he wanted was impossible. Kragen responded by saying "Then Ill die trying."

For many years Kragen searched for a way to kill the god. Eventually he ran into a group of dwarves who told him about Kurladt the Forge Master. A God who made armor and weapons for other gods. Kragen proceeded with the belief that Kurladt could forge a weapon that could kill a god. Still Kurladt was an Anti-God. Though according to legends he could be swayed with gold. To the end of gathering riches Kragen traveled to the port city of Urenda.

Other Notes:
Kragen over the years has gained himself a reputation for killing demons.
