The whip had wrapped around Daichi's forearm, being his intention. In a light ridiculing manner, he orated, "Took you long enough. Did'ya get lost on your way here?" "Sorry, I got lost trying to find milk for you." The smug look the Nocturne had on his countenance portrayed his forecasted victory. "Let's make a little deal- you go all out during this fight and I'll refrain from using any magic. How does that sound?" "Sounds to me like you're afraid of what I can do." "-Not that I have a problem fighting you with full force." Halfway through his sentence, his eyes began shifting colors, corresponding with the ice that began to encase the vine he gripped. What was she to do now? This was her only attack that would chain into her onslaught. She thought of herself as a useless Druid, due to the circumstances she was under. Maybe I should submit. He is ranked A for a reason... These demeaning statements conquered her resolve to win. He reiterated with, "So? It's up to you, Nuna."

Time was running out, as the frost was virtually enveloping her arm. Maybe I lo- No. I refuse to accept that. Now the only issue confronting her was: ice and time. She had to think. Immediately. The ice had barely reached her fingertips as she thought, He should really consider how close he gets to a succubus.. With this rekindled spirit she replied, "I plan to fight you with my full power as well." She jerked her arm back, shattering the ice, but projecting herself forward, as well as the boy to her. Within his grasp, she made sure to make contact with his skin calming him, attempting to soothe any angst. Her hunger had grown from earlier, making it difficult to withdraw from her feed. It was time to subside her craving.
Everyone has their hands on those cats! XD

Nuna was excited by the battle to come, but why had she been paired up with an A rank? The joy of being grouped and considered the highest rank was overwhelmed by trivial thoughts. When given her rank, after the test, the announcer stated 'seriously' toward the end. Was this insight to the greater power she withheld, or her actions making amusement for the audience. Am I ready for this? I've been deemed to be a lower rank than what I am about to be presented with... Worried of whom and what strengths her opponent had, she nearly lost composure. She deferred from such a state with her confidence. If anything were to go wrong what's the worst that could happen. Whether it's a mistake or not, I know I'm capable of the test. If not, I've got charm. She was shamed once by obtaining such a degradable rank, which her family would frown upon, and would prevent any further chagrin starting this moment.

"After you have confirmed the opponent whom you will be facing, please make your way over to the designated training rooms. Be sure to have your identification necklaces ready- they will need to be scanned in order for you to proceed." That's my queue. Leaving the previous area with the projection of holograms, she walked briskly to the line to enter the doors. Moments after waiting for people to process, she was dumbfounded by the hallway that almost stretched further at first glance. Stepping forward, as the sound of her heels, hitting the ground, echoed throughout the hallway, it was immediately followed by another that led to her complete stop. She watched as a kiosk materialized in front of her, requiring the scan of her identification necklace. Doing so it retorted, "You may proceed, Nuna Mori."

The hallway walls revealed the room in which combat would take place. Sighting the cat boy, she immediately made the connection that he was Kuroda Daichi. "Please note that an individual protective barrier has been activated upon entering the room. This shield will assure your safety during the match, only allowing minor injuries during combat. You lose when your shield's health depletes and it's glow dissipates." "Kuroda!" She began dashing in his direction as she loosened the vine bound to her hair. It reinforced into a thicker state, as she swung it outward in her advance. She used the 'whip', intending to strike the boy in front of her, as her face showed vicious determination.

"...I feel much better. Thanks for that." "No problem." The boy turned around and walked away from her after giving his gratitude. She would have loved to stay and chat with him, but she had to run over to her appropriate section before classes begun. A hologram had appeared in front of the B section, with an Incubus lying in bed. "Nice introduction..." Looking around the room, she noticed multiple holograms with different creatures on them, simultaneously giving their address. "Welcome to combat training, students. Our activities today will help you in survival training, where you will either move up a rank, stay in your rank, or move down a rank. You will fight one other student from your rank, then get an analysis of your performance. After that, you will be put into a group with two other students from each other rank different from yours and fight other groups of three. Each member from the winning group will be able to choose from a pool of weapons to keep, and be later recognized for their amazing teamwork and skill. All of your classes and activities you attend here at Rosewood have a purpose; to defend Mystia from the Night Monarch. Don't forget what you are here for."

None of this really intrigued her because she wanted to get to class. Feeling some sort of hype from looking at the Incubus, she was ready for class. A list of the competitors were revealed on the projection and traversing her eyes down the list, grunting at the sight of Desdemona's name, she stopped at her name. Who the hell is Kuroda Daichi? She began spanning her eyes across the room to see the people she didn't know. "Roller skate boy. Cat man. Rifle cat. And the late girl with the hood. Out of those people, I wonder who is my opponent." She was enthusiastic about who this person might be and desired for these matchups to begin.

Waiting diligently for his response, she could gauge how much energy she took by the weary, deliberate countenance exhibited from the boy. Before responding he crossed his arms and stated, "-'s not possible. How could you give back something like that? I'm not falling for your tricks again, Nuna." "Look, I know you don't trust me right now, but if you would jus-" She was cut off by Fiji's message and looked at the ceiling, as the booming voice echoed, as if she would see the mystical elf hovering above. When the announcement completed, Nuna turned back to the Nocturne. She was pressed for time now. "Just come here you fool. Enough explaining." She grappled the cat by the face and pressed her lips against his, in a kiss. Instead of sucking energy out of him through a dramatic inhale, she sent it into his mouth through exhaling. If close enough onlookers would see the flow of energy from hers into his. Moments of this process occurred until she broke loose of this grip, stepping back a few steps. Her imagination ran wild wondering if the boy had been replenished or if it wasn't sufficient. She didn't know his name. Nuna, staring at the boy, asked, "Umm, how do feel?" Continuing to glance in his direction, she anxiously waited for a response.

Arriving in the spacious room of the training hall, she saw the familiar faces of the people she greeted in the cafeteria. Everyone was in their appropriate sections preparing for class. She scanned the room, noticing the abundance of people who were ranked A. She leered at those people as if they were acting elitist. I would have been ranked A myself if I hadn't been caught off guard by that enemy. As the heel of her ankle boot hit the ground, her eyes had met the scene of the Nocturne and Demon playing with a ball. She was disappointed to see Desdemona, but the long search for the boy could be terminated. When did he depart from the infirmary, wondering as her hand covered her chin in a ponderous thought? She hollered, "Hey, Cat-Man." At the same time, he began to kick the ball back to Desdemona but turned to face the beckoning. It seemed he had more exerted force into the ball than expected, sending it zooming in her direction. Enticed by the situation, she hoped the ball hit the demon square in the face, as she had redirected the attention of the Nocturne back to herself.

Starting into a slight jog, she stopped before the Nocturne at a respectable distance. "Hi... Nuna. The chick that knocked you out... Forgive me for what happened earlier, I'm still having trouble controlling these powers. I couldn't resist the urge to drain your energy. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me, so we don't start a friendship off sketchy. But before you accept anything I would like to offer you back your energy. Please."

The demon was useless. “Nuna, Nuna, Nuna. Isn’t obvious I’m the worst person to ask? I definitely won’t give you an answer. You should’ve known that, you can’t be that dumb.” Nuna continued looking at her viciously waiting for her chance to ravage this woman. Smirking she continued with, “No I take that back, draining a student’s energy in front of everyone in the dining hall is pretty dumb.” "Aren't you funny. Listen, you should watch who the hell you are talking to before I shove your foot up your ass." She began walking away as if she had not heard Nuna. She seemed to be caught up in Yayo's message about classes. Not to worry, we live in the same dorm, don't we? She will get her portion of my wrath. People say everything happens for a reason. So when I punch you in the face, remember I have a reason.

15 minutes was more than enough time to get ready. She could no longer search for the infirmary. Her new task was to prepare for class. Though, she had no personal means of defense, she was prepared to utilize her succubus abilities as a last resort. Walking to the front desk, she encountered the same ecstatic elf on the first day of arrival. "Good morning, Mr. Fiji- water." "Morning to you, Nuna. Classes will commence soon, how may I be of help today?" Oh, you don't say "Well I need items for battle, so would be alright if I stepped outside momentarily to acquire those things." The elf, with his technology, and adroit fingers allowed the gates to be opened. "Okay. Make sure to be back before 10 minutes are up, or else you'll be stuck outside." "Okay." Stuck outside my ass, I will definitely be back.

She journeyed outside to where she first entered from. The vegetation was beautiful and tended to with care. The flowers in the garden grasped her attention; she needed an accessory that was greenery and easy to manipulate. She sought a flower that had the resemblance of a cone. She picked this flower and inhaled its aroma deeply, before fixating it into her hair. Walking further out into the forest, staring deep into the vegetation, her face brushed upon a vine. She decided that she could also wrap the vine into her ponytail for use. "That's everything," she expressed with a sigh. Stepping forward in an attempt to return, a small rounded figure jumped out at her. Startled and ready to attack, she began to realize it was not an assailant, but an animal she had saved and named; Izukei. "Izukei!" The rodent-like creature was healed, saved, and nurtured by Mori in her hometown. She had fought many victorious battles with her partner in crime. Departing she had set it free, but it seems that it followed her all the way here. "Well, I guess you can't go back now. Come on." Izukei crawled up her body rapidly and hid in her clothing. The unrealistic part was that he hid undetectably.

Briskly walking back to the school, she passed Yayo's desk saying, "See, back in one piece." She entered the teleportal, towards the training hall. Now at the ease of mind, she knew she stood a chance against the challenges. She wondered what precautions the other Druids may have taken. She made sure she took her time arriving into the training hall, to avoid the multiple glares she would indubitably receive.

Returning to the cafeteria, was the uttermost thought Nuna wanted to come to mind. She would be known as a malicious person if the Nocturne was not in appropriate health. The kiss was something she could not resist, it was quintessential to her nature. "In the past, people I've kissed died right in front of me. It's a good thing I don't have that hovering over my head. But I still have no restrictions to its extent. I'm lucky he survived." She strode down the hall to the teleportal to find the medical facility.

Within the transporter, the idea of its cacophonies was mitigated by her desire to find the infirmary. What benefit would she be to him now? She was just as useless, similar to the way he probably felt. His energy was drawn out of him and she could not resist the temptation to meet those lips. She had to let the past go and focus on the present. The least she could do was heal. Her motives ran higher to locate the infirmary. How would she do so without any knowledge of the building? "First official day and I already got myself into deep shit."

Arriving on the first floor, she decided to ask around. She approached a group of students conversing and asked, "Would any of you happen to know the location of the infirmary?" The varying expressions she received confused her; people looked at her in bewilderment, others entranced by her beauty, and those with fear in their eyes. Her thoughts ran wild trying to find the answer to these glares. How could she forget the incident that occurred in the dining hall? She was stupefied by how quickly she obliterated the matter as if born anew. She turned around and walked away from the group. "Tough crowd, eh.." she whispered to herself. "Wait, maybe I could find out from Yayo Fiji? He knows the place inside-- Nevermind, bad idea." She was on her own, searching for the destination.

Wandering around, she encountered Desdemona who seemed to be taking a casual stroll. Mori, from behind shouted, "Desdemona!" "This bitch..." The demon turned around to face the Succubus. "What a turn of events? Would you happen to know where the Nocturne is," inquired Nuna waiting for her response.
