I really nead to work on my bio. Point on my quirks and limitations. Making my own RP is tempting but I'll need to polish my blade first.

dark fantasy roleplays anyone? It'd be nice if it had an open world setting so that we can make stuff up!

BASICS
I love fantasy role-plays, leaning more into dark fantasy and high fantasy. I can do other rp's too, just not used to them that much.

Main purpose in joining is to find and interact with fellow role-players. So, anything deeply personal and unrelated to role-plays must be taken into pm or dismissed, especially if they are highly sensitive and subjective topics. Respect is what I'll give, and it's all I want.

I have a day job, so I'll only be here a few hours a day, at most. That might even be stretching it, I shut down after getting home from work. Still, I need this to kickstart my writing mojo. Play with me. :D

Gabriel followed where all of the other children went. A loud voice boomed and commanded them to take their breakfast. It didn't know if it needed sustenance but since it awoke, it hadn't needed any physical source of nourishment. It sustained itself through other means. Still, it didn't know whether what the others ate would have some any effect on it. It was curious, even if it didn't know what curiosity meant, even it was the strongest thing it felt at the moment.

It followed the others into a decent sized room full with others unlike it. It sat randomly, interested in the two that walked together while talking. They took their food and mirrored their actions and took a food bowl. Not meaning to voice out its concern, Gabriel spoke, "What is this?"

@honorandpride

I'm still looking. I'm always open for 1x1(Private) RPs. PM me for stuff.
Hello, popping in for the last time. No one seemed to be taking my offer to borrow my character's for this rp so I'll be removing them. Have a good RP everyone :)
@Furiosa

Sure thing. PM me your preference and limitations on the RP. As long the plot is in consideration of some of what I put in my first post, it'll be fine. :)
I'm new to the site but I do have some pre-existing to experience. I'd be interested in a small group rp. In my opinion those ones are the best for world building and story telling.

That's the end goal, once we've made the Private RP good enough. So, PM me if you're still interested. It'll just be the two of us first.

Anyone interested? Romance still isn't necessary. I'd love a good dark fantasy RP. IF the private RP would go well, I may even expand the idea into a small-group RP. :D
Alright. I removed Light because I think it's too close to Life and so we can have an even number.

Thread'll be up shortly.

Um, have you posted the OOC thread already? If you did, I missed it. If not, will you be continuing with this concept?
It laid awake. The feeling of shutting down and letting the world decide it's safety would have been terrifying. If only it had the normal concerns of mortality and safety. After being just 'born', it already had to kill it's creator's murderer. Gabriel, while a fresh slate, isn't as clean as the others.

When it arrived in the orphanage, it was told about the rules and regulations. There were a lot of them, and while it was an obscenely fast learner - it wouldn't be able to recall minute details, not yet. Somewhere outside the orphanage proper, its other self was wide awake, passively absorbing mana within the woods. Mana wasn't quite rich where it was, but Gabriel didn't need to expend mana. It was fine.

Without concern to how it looked, Gabriel stood up from his bed, made it like how his creator instructed it to do. It was one of its earliest memories, it won't ever forget it. It picked up the shorts that reached to only an inch above its knees and slid itself into a sleeveless top. Its arms got tangled on the way in, but managed to figure it out after a minute. The clothes looked off on it. The fit was either too short or too tight. Gabriel was somewhere in between the build and height of a young man, but with the definition of a boy. It was slim and held little to no muscles - however inhumanly strong it may be.

Dressed and alert, it walled the hallways with its bare foot. Another one of the rules, it noted. No footwear within the orphanage. It didn't mind. It's body was stronger than human children, stronger that its creator's child, that's what he said to Gabriel. It examined the halls and tried to find others. It didn't know there were creatures other than itself and humans, but it would be a great place to learn for it.

Gabriel closed its eyes and breathed deeply. Gabriel has a new home It heard an older voice and followed its source. He said to proceed to the mess hall.

It didn't know what a mess hall was, so it followed the others. It took notice that there were a lot smaller humans than it. It knew it was not human but to see little humans, so different yet so alike from its creator, it grew interested.

It hadn't managed to notice the non-human ones, nor the human-looking ones, but it would soon learn. Gabriel would learn. For now, it chose to follow the lot of them. It knew not to act on its own, it wasn't in it's element and all it can do was learn.
Celeste Azur

Practical Exam Venue @Azereiah @Eragon

Celeste felt the power of the teacher, who he can't seem to dig out the name in his cluttered mind. He remembered how heavy her power was, though. While he had been on the receiving end of her magic, it was still pretty shocking how powerful she was. Unlike Ohon, she wasn't tired of Cel... yet.

And unlike Ohon, he wasn't a troublemaker. Not exactly. It's just there are times when he'd space out, messes happen intermittently. Whatever, he wasn't going to be the focus today. It'll be on the newbies. He hoped they'd pass. Two years ago, Cel happened to pass, to his surprise. His practical skills was pretty useful, and was pivotal to him being accepted.

Plus, any and all quirks he possessed hadn't been taken into account yet. Cel could look strong and alert too.

The newbies were transported via land vehicle. It seemed the Institute still upheld the standards they had. Cel, however, could vaguely remember a male teacher talking about how they did't want quantity of quality. Whatever that mean, Cel hadn't paid real attention. Maybe, it'd bring some changes to the tests?

Maybe.

Cel followed the newbies. While they were given the first priority for transport, there were vehicles arranged for the staff and older students. Cel joined with the others and waited for a few good minutes. He let himself wander in his own world and was only aware of their arrival because of the sudden jolt that hit him.

He saw that there were a lot of frantic people talking, negotiating with one another. Will they be fighting in groups? Did we do that in our time? I don't think so... Cel looked around and tried to find people he was familiar with. A name came up, Mark? Mariane? Maxim? It was something along those lines. He remembered that the guy who had an 'M' for a first letter for his name was a something-generation lizard chimera. He looked for him but surprisingly, it was hard to find such a physically noticeable person amidst the sea of mages-to-be.

Oh, the sea, how Cel missed it. Oh! I know him! That tiny form and wings, Ohon!

Cel gravitated to his fellow problem student, the infamous Ohon. He was quite upbeat, even with the great amount of heat their bodies were releasing, warming up their surroundings. The clouds were heavy up above, they could be gone any moment - but Cel was happy because they were at lealst there. I hope it rains...

"Hey Ohon! Needed to regrow your wings back?"
@Eragon I'm thinking of putting up Cel's bit later. We'll have to collab once we have more material to work on. PM me then
