They say it's about the journey, not the destination. This is true of many things. Pizza delivery is not one of them.

TFW you know what you want to happen but the words aren't cooperating. Why is plot suddenly so much harder to write?

Bio

I am an adult, though I don't usually act like it. I'm a voracious reader, and not overly picky about books. I am artistic in a variety of areas, including music, drawing, writing, and sculpting. I have a minor obsession with dragons, and love the color violet. Fantasy is my preferred genre, be it past, future, urban...as long as it has a fantasy flavor to it. I also like scifi, mystery, and some horror. I am crazy, and I like tormenting my characters. But I don't bite...much. ^.~

@MegaOscarPwn I would strongly discourage doing things to actually kill yoiur teammates, and I suspect that such control should be above starting power level for our chars. I didn't say she'd hurt him, just that she has a strong dislike and may try to impress upon him the seriousness of his actions. Besides, for someone scared of dying, deliberately killing a teammate for being angry seems like the sort of thinhe'd get executed for.
@MegaOscarPwn He did for Westminster, and if you're in a special army task force that's still the military. =P Bel is not going to let him live that down. E V E R. And she won't trust him with anything, either. He has earned himself a very angry woman that didn't like him to start with and who can hold a grudge a /long/ time.

Should be fun~ <3
@MegaOscarPwn Bel would like to inform you that getting others killed to save yourself is not the sort of thing you do in the army, and that if Oscar thinks like that he had no business enlisting in the first place.
I'm gonna wait a bit to post again, even though directly addressed.

@MegaOscarPwn Izkry is older than both Johnathan and Zhanna, and he's also not fond of Oscar after his stunt. And the disrespect he shows to the Captain won't go over well either.

@ONL Man, I feel like a jerk. I created Izkry (which actually means Sparks, or something like it) from my character Johnathan "Sparks" Quinn a while ago to fit the new background and ww2 setting of Lady Selune's rp, but it seems his powerset is...nearly identical to Anton's, though it seems the two manifest the ability a little differently. Anton can control his offensive abilities better, it seems, Izkry is a bit better at touch-based stuff. Both are good at repairs to machines and engines, but it looks like Anton is better at "possessing" machinery and can enhance it; Izkry can't do that and can't do anything other than control the machine. And Izkry is probably better with clockwork type stuff.

Honestly, I think Izkry would get on well with Anton, if you're okay with that. They have a similar power, and might bond over their mechanic tendencies. Friends, maybe a tiny bit of rivalry (I can see them racing controlled vehicles or something. *giggle*). Both of them really dislike the Germans, though Izkry is less...enthusiastic about it. And they're both born German, though Anton ended up in France and Izkry in Switzerland. ...Bel might, /might/ dislike Anton less than most of the others. He's enough like Izkry, and is determined to see the Germans defeated. She approves.

Lemme know whatcha think.

@Bright_Ops Hope you don't mind that I had Izkry helping John with his German. Izkry'd be happy to lend a hand, and he's friendly in general. ^.^;; I can change it if you object, though.
@MegaOscarPwn What's a ten? Is that good? O.o And I saw you post OOC a couple hours ago, which was after the rp began, so clearly you were around.
@Lady Selune I don't intend to join, but I am just quietly giggling in my corner over here. Don't mind me~
@MegaOscarPwn dude where have you been?

Be prepared for extreme prejudice from Bel. She doesn't like deserters.
@MegaOscarPwn Bel will cqc you into submission.
Belasý did not enjoy the training camp. She'd been through basic and various other training three years ago, and most of this was more of the same. But she knew they needed it -- especially the raw recruits. Westminster had been a disaster she'd seen coming miles away, and the fact they'd done as well as they had was testament to them being extraordinary individuals -- and not in the sense of having their wretched powers either.

The team building exercises that made up the rest of their training were even worse, for all that she was trying to work with the others. She couldn't handle socializing as they did, couldn't manage to break out of her shell. And they could tell she didn't want to be there, that she did not like their company. But she wanted to kill the Germans more than she wanted to be alone.

She saw the man with the thin build and the dark clothing approach their captain on his way across the yard. He wasn't a common sort, not at the training camp. Probably some sort of business, but he'd headed for Captain Stevens with deliberation. So business with him -- or with them. She wondered idly if something had come up.

She got to her feet as the captain drew near, saluting smartly and following him inside. Izkry was quietly helping another young man with German pronunciation. Johnathan was very young, the sort of green idealist that would either harden up or end up dead. If he was lucky, he'd keep some of that bright outlook, as Izkry had. If not...well, at least he'd be better able to handle the fighting.

When Captain Stevens called for attention Izkry quickly rose, draws ng himself up to his full height. The news of some bigwig turning up after lunch was intriguing, but first another run of the Currahee. He quickly grabbed his gear, catching Bel's eye as she slipped out on her way do the same. Her expression said that she thought something was up. Maybe they were going to be taken out of training early. Bel would like that.
