The door creaked open and Charon shuffled into the room, his eyes heavy, his hair wild, and his shoulders slouched. He glanced at Ferris and let out a audible yawn, and answered Ferris's question "Yeah I'll come. Let me find my hat and put some deodorant on first." And without much of a word he swiped his hat out from under the sheets of his bed, walked into the bathroom and sprayed some deodorant under his armpits and met Ferris at the door, chewing a piece of spearmint gum.

He yawned again, rubbing his eyes and spoke to Ferris, "Alright'y, I'm ready. I mean, I would like a shower, but if we're going to beat the rush, we 'best hop to than waiting 'round here. Besides, I will not miss breakfast two days in a row!"

"Besides," Charon opened the door and gestured to Ferris, "Someone also has to make sure you get there without passing out! It was not fun having to haul you the rest of the way back to Beacon, you know that?"

"Do you know how much fun it would be to toss you halfway across Vale?" Ferris growled as he walked out the door. "Hmph," Charon grunted in response, and followed him, "And don't get me started on how me and Andri had to sneak you into the school without any of the staff seeing you hammered through! I had such a terrible headache afterwards, that I couldn't sleep for more than a few hours!"

"I distinctly remember telling you we could get in through the window." Ferris sniffed. "At least then we could have avoided the cat." His expression turned thoughtful. "...who knew such a little thing could be so ferocious?"

"Oh I remember the window... It was 10 feet off the ground! Sure was easy getting you two up there and it was a whole 'nother beast getting the damn thing open!" Charon exclaimed.

Ferris shook his head, "Oh never mind. We are here, and I need coffee."

The two of them entered the Cafeteria, which much to Charon's delight, was way before the breakfast rush started. They got in line and grabbed some eggs and waffles with maple syrup and some ham. Ferris went over to get some coffee and Charon decided to go with him and get a cup of his own. They sat down at a clean table and dug into their food, and began to recover from the grogginess that clung to them both.

Charon was about to take a sip of his coffee, but he hesitated, holding it halfway up to his mouth. Ferris raised an eyebrow at him, as if he was trying to say Are you going to try it or what? with a mouth full of food. Charon reluctantly took a sip, and suppressed the need to gag, as the bitterness was overwhelming.

He then set the cup down, and looked at Ferris, who snickered at Charon's reaction "How do you and Adri' drink this stuff? I understand it like makes you rise from the dead and all that, but seriously, this stuff is worst than tea! And I'm trying really hard to like tea!"

Do it, just downloaded it and I don't regret it. It ain't the greatest game but it's something.

Well, I did, and apparently Roy is my boy (First 5-Star)

Overall, it's some nice work for a mobile game and it's got enough work into it to look like any other Fire Emblem game out right now. I'm impressed
I can't decide if I want to download Fire Emblem Heroes: never liked of mobile phone games, but I've looked at reviews and people say it's pretty good... I might give it a shot since it's free.
<Snipped quote by Suku>

coincidentally I've been dredging ideas together into something that would vaguely resemble this

Yeah, been thinking the same way with Charon while working on the Collab with my team. Something like how he grew up away from the big flashy Cities of Atlas in some Dust mining town near the mountains or something.
@NarayanK
How's everyone? o-o

Well, considering I'm completely awake whilst it's 15 minutes to 1:00 AM, I could be better.

Too much on my mind I guess. Too much to worry about. Too much to think of what will happen tomorrow or weeks to come.

Hell, I don't know what I'm talking about, but I guess I'm just having the bad case of the Blues tonight.

OK, the show got a little bit more confusing: something about relics, and older brother and a younger brother that act as deities of creation and destruction, and how the bad people somehow fit into all of it including the 4 maidens.

Pretty much Qrow gave us a bunch of exposition that is hard to follow.

This show is starting to become really confusing.

Charon opened the door do his team's empty dorm room, wearing a robe while drying his hair off by massaging his head with a towel. He walked over to his bed and plopped down on it, throwing the damp towel into his laundry hamper. He let out a sigh of relief; he felt a lot better after a nice hot shower, "At least I had enough luck to have some hot water for a shower..." He mumbled to himself.

He glanced over to his nightstand to spy his scroll all lit up. He reached over and grabbed it, opening it up to see that Ferris had texted him twice.

From: Ferris

Come join me by the air docks, some guy set up a grill, and now there is a little grill out going on.
I figure we can use this opportunity to meet some new faces and introduce ourselves.

Someone set up a grill on the air-docks? Huh, free food does sound nice, especially if there is something there that beats my rather disappointing breakfast.

He scrolled down to read the next message, which made him frown:

From Ferris:

"Too slow, grills canceled. :( Sorry guys.
Meet up with me anyways. I'll make it up to you."

Well shoot, an opportunity for good food came and went, and just like breakfast I didn't know about it until it was too late. He closed his eyes and sighed again, sick of his abysmal luck this morning in satisfying his hunger with good food.

He opened his eyes again and decided to message Ferris back,

Just my luck, I miss a cookout while I was in the shower. Oh well, where are you exactly?

He waited a moment and his scroll buzzed in his hand, with a new message from Ferris:

At the Courtyard beyond the Air-docks, waiting for you slowpokes

Charon smiled, and replied :
OK, see you in a few captain

Charon placed his scroll back on his nightstand and got up to walk to his dresser to grab a fresh pair of his favorite casual clothes: A purple plaid shirt over a gray T-shirt, and some blue jeans with some wool socks. After getting fully clothed, he hung his robe up on the door to the bathroom and grabbed his pair of brown leather combat boots along with his pair of gaunlets and quickly tied them on. Lastly, he put on his harness for his Greatsword-Rifle, but due to the rather casual occasion, collapsed the shoulder pad down a comfortable size, readjusted his bandoiler onto his back underneath the scabbard for his sword to be out of the way and out of sight, and hoisted his weapon, whilst in sword form, into the scabbard.

He grabbed his scroll and stuffed it into his pocket and went through a mental checklist to make sure he had everything before he left, and of course, forgot his favorite hat, which he left in his dresser. Throwing that on over his head, he left the room and locked the door behind him.

Charon guided himself to Ferris's aura, spotting his team leader lounging under a tree while reading a book in the middle of the courtyard. A songbird sang in the tree above him and Charon smiled while he approached his team leader, "What a lovely songbird, sounds like a finch has taken interest in what you're reading Ferris."

Charon took a knee next to him trying to read the text in the book, "Er, what are you reading anyways?"

Well, the house is finally quiet after my sister and my brother-in-law left, so I was able to write a very important letter to my University. I should be able to start brainstorming by tonight, or by tomorrow tonight.

Other than that, I'm eager for the Holidays to be over and for things to settle back down into the status quo before all the Holiday madness, despite of how much fun I had with my Sister and Brother-in-law coming from the desert of west Texas, and my grandma from my Mom's side come down from the snow ridden Michigan to enjoy the rather mild winter down in Texas.

I just want to enjoy the peace and quiet in the house while it lasts before I have to go back to school.

"No clue, he was up and at em' before any of us, but let me check my scroll..." His right hand dug into his pocket, only to find that it was devoid of said scroll, which made him quickly dig into his left pocket, and with not much luck. He gave up leaned back in his chair and let out a big sigh of frustration.

"That is, IF I had my Scroll!" Charon ran his fingers through his hair in an attempt to tame the monster, but it simply bounced back, much to his annoyance. He put his purple hat back on with another sigh, and finished his bowl of cereal, slurping down the rest of the milk and placing the bowl back on the tray.

"Just another drop in the bucket of things that went wrong this morning," He hung his head in misery, hoping that maybe this crap-full morning will turn out for the better. Charon glanced over at Andromeda, sipping her cup of coffee when he noticed that there were 3 other empty mugs off to the side.

"Did you get yourself enough caffeine? Heck, you drink anymore and I don't think you'll be able to sleep a day if you keep it up at this rate!" He shoved another spoonful of cereal into his mouth while she finished her coffee off.

"Oh? You look like you need caffeine yourself, considering how you got up last, AND late for breakfast! So I can drink as many as I please thank you very much!" She retorted, setting down her 4th mug with the rest.

Charon snorted, "Hmph, touché" while crossing his arms and glancing away from her. "I don't know what came over me to sleep through this morning," he put his right index finger to his lip, "Maybe I'm still worn through from Friday's sparring session in class?" He looked back to Andromeda, who simply shrugged.

Charon sighed once more, "Ah to hell with it, I shouldn't dwell so much on feeling like crap." He popped his neck and leaned forward in his seat, "So tell me, what's on your schedule today?"

He moved the tray aside and rested his elbow on the table, supporting his head while half-listening to Andromeda, but his mind quickly wandered, and started looking around at the other students, taking note on the extensive variety of both human and faunus around him. He felt the current of auras flowing around him, some more intense than others, and he couldn't really stand staying around much longer. He needed some solitude, as he was starting to crack under the pressure of so many auras that it was getting to the point were his head was starting to ache a little bit.

He sighed and rubbed his knuckles against his forehead, trying to regain his own senses and to keep them focused on himself, all in the while he forgot that Andromeda was probably talking to her. Then again, he already ignored her before she even began, so asking what she was talking about probably wouldn't be a great way to portray that he was tuned in.

Then a hand appeared in his face an snapped him into attention, "Are you even listening to me?"

So much for pretending to listen to what she's talking about...

Charon sat up straight with a guilty look on his face, faking a small laugh "Heh, uh yeah? I was listening the whole time I swear!"

She sat back and crossed her arms, and raised an unconvinced eyebrow. He smiled nervously, and decided it was time to get the hell out of Dodge, "Well this has been a nice chat!" He stood up, swiped up his tray, "I'm going back to the dorm to get my scroll, probably to take a shower and get a set of clothes that is not wrinkled through,"

He began to walk away before he paused to tell her one more thing: "Do me a favor and see if you can find the boss and let me know what he's up to?"

Andromeda's dual colored eyes gave him a look that could zap him where he stood, "Alright, I'll let you know when I find him."

"Sounds good, uh, see you later!" And without another word, he ran off to the dish-rack area to unload his dishes and exited the mess hall.

"Charooonnn!"

"Hmmm?" A distant call got his attention as he finished pouring milk onto his Wheaties, the same cereal he had yesterday. And the day before. And the day before that. He turned around to face the ocean of students sitting down at various tables in the mess hall, his eyes trying to isolate who was calling him. He shuffled forward, looking over and around various heads and persons to find the source of the distant call, but as much as he tried, he hadn't a clue where it came from.

Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place, maybe... He decided to try something different, as the feat of finding one head in the thousands is not easy at all. He closed his eyes for only a brief moment, focusing on his aura and attempting to reach outwards to find the source. The sheer number of students crashed against him abruptly, almost enough to make him lose all concentration, but he quickly regained his composure and in a flash, he locked onto the source.

He opened his eyes to see a happy Andromeda, waving at him frantically, sitting at a small table not too far away. He smiled and waved back to her, and began to walk over to her. Glad that didn't fail me in a time of need. He knew that talking to Andromeda would defiantly cheer him up, as everything up to this point was an absolute train wreck, but when it comes to talking to Andromeda, she has a lot to say about what ever it is you talk to her about. Sometimes it's for better and some times it's for worse, but in this case, it's going to be for better, and he is going to be glad that she'll be able to lend an ear in his time of crisis.

He approached the table and set his tray down, and sat down, letting out a big sigh, "Mornin' Andromeda," He took off his hat, letting loose the wild monster that was his bedhead combined with hat hair now. "I hope your Morning was better than mine at the least.."

He grabbed his spoon of his tray and submerged it into his cereal bowl, and stuck it in his mouth and began to chew the cardboard squares that where Wheaties. It was at that point when he noticed a snicker, and he looked up at Andromeda, who looked like she was holding back a laugh the best that she could.

Charon stopped chewing and frowned, "What? I don't look that ridiculous, do I?"
