That's generally how we roll, and I appreciate you commending us for it. Many people are either just outright not willing to work with us, or accuse us of being 'egotists' based solely on the degree of power our characters -can- possess, hence why we have never actually settled down anywhere. But this place so far has been very accomodating, and even has characters matching our meta, something that is VERY rare.

And there are actually more of us, friends and Drivers alike, though they have had very bad run-ins with past forum communities(hence the whole us never settling anywhere thing) and thus are far more stand-offish than we are. So far you are giving me a lot of good things to report to them.
Alrighty then. Looks like we have the delegations all met out. Guess I'll get my post started.
Seems fine to me.
You have nothing to worry about. As stated earlier, we are pretty decent at scaling our characters to whatever level the characters we are fighting are at. The primary problem abilities will be locked, and we are not so uncordial that we wouldn't be able to work out a compromise should something arise mid-combat. All-in-all? We intend to keep this fairly even. Besides, this is just an exhibition match. Off the record, off the grid. Regardless of whom wins or loses, it's no sweat off either of our brows :)
Don't we all.
That's just the thing. These characters are built to scale. That said, all of the things on the sheet that are causing all of these huge issues more than likely wouldn't be used. I and my partner already agreed to not even bust out the Cosmo Artifacts, which are their primary weapons unless it turns out they are capable of staying level with us. Much less our more meta abilities. As it stands, they'd just be fighting really hard, really strong machines with a sword or two and a gun, which sounds far better than 'multidimensional metaconceptual ultinmate demi-machinae-gods', right?
Lol no need to be sorry. By this point I am semi-used to this kind of thing. The sheer amount of information presented on our sheets is usually enough to make people sick. I could, instead post perhaps one of my more simple characters? Or hell, make one up on the spot for the engagement that is better suited to your preferred meta? Or do you have someone you'd reccommend?
There are literal dozens of abilities that do precisely those things. Acid is more than capable of eroding flesh and organs. The dreaded mystical 'mists', fogs, and rain are more than capable of the exact same thing. Again, the sci-fi paint we slap on our characters seems to be the primary issue you guys have with our sheets. Also, if all you see is 'backstory' and not function, then, and I also don't mean to offend, it might mean you just aren't looking at what's actually being written. Both sheets, multiple times outright state what the characters can do, but are substantiated by lore. My slip-stream blaster, blacklist, charlemegne, and hand of vulcan all clearly state their functions, even with the backstory provided. Riotbreaker from Gundrives sheets clearly states every form it has, and the abilities that come with those forms. I mean, this stuff really isn't too hard to understand. My theory is you are being intimidated by the words and not the content. I am not forcing you to fight us. If you are that opposed to it the fight would fall apart before it started anyway, but I AM asking that you at least look at what is being written instead of seeing the word 'metaconceptual' and actual lore backing and coming to the conclusion that we don't say anything but 'how they came to be'.

And instead of feeling dumb, why not just ask questions and grow your repertoir? We don't write this stuff for the sake of belittling others, but because this is our preferred style of writing. Then again, Lovecraft wasn't for everyone either.
Oh? Interesting enough. I was under the impression oxidation was particularly a metal-based thing.

Yes. I posted my partners sheet as well. So I'll be posting shortly.
