Bio
Hello ffolkes, thecircus here. Or you can use Jeff, my given name. I have been involved in all aspects of gaming for over 35 years. I enjoy Battletech, MegaTraveller, Millennium's End, Star Grunt2, Werewolf and X-Wing most of all. I began writing a few years ago, having an article published in the Traveller online fanzine "Freelance Traveller". I have been encouraged by my wife to write more, so here I am. My other online endeavor was as one of the Admins at battletechuniverse.org.
I am a disabled veteran, having spent 10 years in the US Navy and 3 years in the US Army. I have seen combat in the first Gulf War and in other locations in the Americas.
I used to be an action junkie in my younger days, being both a skydiver and a SCUBA diver, but nowadays I spend my time target shooting, playing X-Wing and trying to write, and playing with my dogs; Zephyr, Truffle, Piper and Gussy. I enjoy listening to music and reading, cooking and the weather. I am also a Major in the Civil Air Patrol, the USAF Auxiliary; which is responsible for 90% of all USAF Search and Rescue work in the US.

Nyrdis walked out of the woods, the side of a hart of his wide shoulder, freshly killed and butchered. The other half got him 15 pieces of silver, not a bad day’s work. Hopefully this one will get more from The Inn. It is a curious place, this inn. He thinks he might stay there for a while since the weather is getting colder. Truffles and Bucket scampered around his long legs, tackling each other as they moved, oblivious to his thoughts. They just wanted some fish and berries, and perhaps a different environment to play in.

Personality: Nydris is the strong, quiet type; short on words, but means what he says when he talks. He is very at home alone in the woods, and sometimes an urban environment gets under his skin; especially a crowded market or inn.
Bio: At a young age Nyrdis’ parents found him very comfortable in the woods. So comfortable that they found it hard to get him out; he would leave for days at a time, causing a clamor in the village as a search was conducted. To combat this, his parents apprenticed him to the local hunter and Ranger. Nyrdis grew to become a formidable tracker and hunter. He spent a few years earning his way through the world doing just that for mercenary armies. Finally making his way to the village around the inn, he makes his living providing fresh meat to all.
