Bio
Hello ffolkes, thecircus here. Or you can use Jeff, my given name. I have been involved in all aspects of gaming for over 35 years. I enjoy Battletech, MegaTraveller, Millennium's End, Star Grunt2, Werewolf and X-Wing most of all. I began writing a few years ago, having an article published in the Traveller online fanzine "Freelance Traveller". I have been encouraged by my wife to write more, so here I am. My other online endeavor was as one of the Admins at battletechuniverse.org.
I am a disabled veteran, having spent 10 years in the US Navy and 3 years in the US Army. I have seen combat in the first Gulf War and in other locations in the Americas.
I used to be an action junkie in my younger days, being both a skydiver and a SCUBA diver, but nowadays I spend my time target shooting, playing X-Wing and trying to write, and playing with my dogs; Zephyr, Truffle, Piper and Gussy. I enjoy listening to music and reading, cooking and the weather. I am also a Major in the Civil Air Patrol, the USAF Auxiliary; which is responsible for 90% of all USAF Search and Rescue work in the US.

Nyrdis knocked on the back door hard because of all of the racket that the dragon had made. "I wonder what brought one of the Great Wyrms to this area?", he mused. Shaking his head, he knocked again, this time wrapping on the skull of the man who opened the door.
"Whayadda want?", the man growled. "I have this side of hart to sell, or perhaps trade for lodging and meals." I am an excellent hunter, and can provide meat to the Inn."
"Okay, you'll do.", the man growled. "I'm Sid, the cook." he said. " Come and look for me in the morning. "If not me, then Miss Veda."
Nydris hung the meat on a hook. "Thank you, Master Sid.", he said as he moved through the doors to the Great Room.
