After being nicked by the stun baton from one of the guards Midori brought her rifle to bear on the assailant. Midori shot the guard in the right shoulder. Hit easily and dealt 1 damage.
Midori watched the angry chick slice a guard into meat muppets. "Oh Shit" Midori thought. "I had better help with the guards" Midori took aim at a guard and fired. (Hit check Dex = natural roll 2 + 2 DEX bonus = 4 check failed.) The energy shot from the gun and flew past the guard and buried itself in the door. Missing the target "Daaammmn"
"Shit..." Thought Midori as the searchlights blinded her. While she was adjusting her eyes to the blinding light guards had encircled them. A grenade of some kind sailed through the air, exploded in another blinding display and emitted a high pitch sound. It exploded somewhere above Telos and bought them some time. "Alright Telos a temporary alliance" she shouted through the chaos.
The distribution center was now in sight. Midori slung her blaster rifle on her back. Took a breath and reached onto her belt for her water canister. The liquid filled her with determination and helped her have a clear mind. Midori replaced the water canister and with hunter eyes began scanning the distribution center. "Those are some odd marks on the walls" Midori thought as she made her approach on the facility. As she approached the building there was a gut-wrenching feeling that something was about to go wrong. She shouldered the rifle when she noticed that she wasn't alone.

"So, come here often?" said the strange dragon like man. Midori ignored him and checked him for weapons with her eyes. "Who are you, and why are you here?"

The last time she spoke to her adoptive father Alan, a former Athelian military man, Midori was aboard a ship orbiting a massive space station and still undergoing training. She was now on Porthos on her own for the first time since she had completed her combat training. Moving through the streets of Porthos alone. Towards the end of the day she was suddenly accosted by a shadowy figure of a man with a knife in his hands. The shadowy man rushed at her. As soon as he was close enough she punched him in the chest with her strength augments activated. While his body fell she followed him down with another punch to the face. She climbed off the body of the man who had tried to rob her.
"Fucking gross I hate this planet", thought Midori. she gazed down at his caved in chest, broken face and smirked at his ruined corpse. Her strength augment had made the would be robber a ruin of meat and she reveled in the kill. "Now its time for me to head towards the distribution center" Midori thought as she hauled the corpse into a dumpster in a back alley. After cleaning the gore off her hands and face Midori moved towards the edge of the settlement. She began jogging in the direction she was told by her father Alan. She looked up and noticed that it was becoming darker and there was a lot of ground to cover.
