Current I hate that old proverb "Look before you leap" I understand that its a good saying and sound advice. But sometimes you just have to go with your gut feeling and most of the time you don't leap ever.

Julia's eyes widened and she took a couple of steps back from the volcano, giving a wide birth. It was spewing lava in about a 9-10 foot diameter. She raised an eyebrow. That was impressive. That was a combination of earth and fire. It took a high skilled individual to do such a thing. Julia just stood back and waited. There was no way she could dodge the lava, and even if she could, jumping straight down that hole would probably land on Lynx. So Julia just stood back for a minute and watched the other spar.
I'll have the first post up in a little. I have to go to work but I'll do it after.
Ferryn stretched out again and headed over to the pack meeting. He knew he should put more effort into trying with the pack, but that just seemed so hard. He probably wouldn't be here long. Maybe something would change his mind, but it didn't really matter. He walked toward where the pack was gathering and sat near the back. The alpha, a big wolf with an aura of power, stood in the pile of rocks. The meetings were usually just divvying up who was going on the hunting party and who wasn't. He could atleast put on a happy face. He looked around and saw the camp converge. He hadn't exactly tried the last couple of weeks but he would try and turn that around. But for now he would just listen to the alpha.
