At Carbombya Neo Destructa
"I believe i gave you ample time, what have you decided on?" asks Loternus as his mech stands up from its current position.
"We'd rather die then give up our country to you!" yelled one of the soldiers, as both armies start firing at Alternus rapidly.
After the dust is settled, Alternus appears to still be unharmed by the assault, "I do believe that can be arranged" and with a smirk he starts doing some magical hand signs
And summons a floating glyph, Alternus then proceeds to grab an oddly shaped sword hilt and run it through the floating glyph, after said action is done a flaming blade appears on top of the hilt,and Alternus' cape changes colours to match the crimson flames of the blade
"Long ago there was a country that opposed Destructa in its young years, its main capital was heavily fortefied and none of Destructa's weapons could break through their defenses,
untill one day A young soldier who had just joined the army volunteered for a nearly suicidal mission of breaking their defenses from the inside and opening the gates to the city under the cover of night, no one knows how he did it, But all they know is that day was the day Destructa managed to vanquish its foes, and the view all the troopes saw when the city's gates opened was one that shall be made immortal to any citizine of Destructa, it was of said soldier covered in blood and with hellish flames consuming the city behind him ! and that was the story of my ancestor and first true king of Destructa, who was given the name the Crimson Glory Bringer! and out of inspiration and admiration i name This mode after him! Behold ! Alternus, Crimson Glory mode!"
By the time he was done retelling the story of his ancestor, the soldiers that were firing at him had ran out of ammo and were starting to reload.
"heh, i guess i shouldn't expect mere peasants like you to appreciate the glory of Destructa's history" and with a smirk he holds his flaming sword up high with both hands.
"No matter, i shall give you a live demonstration of it, maybe then you can appreciate it in the after life" and with one swing of his sword every single soldier around him,along with the houses and civilians were caught in the searing flames.
After the flames settled, all that remained in the area is a pile of ashs,and some small parts of the mechs that were at the edge of the flames
.
He then summons the wind glyphs again to carry over his voice "While i admit that i never tire of this, i'd still like to stop wasting my time with weaklings, so leader of this country,whoever you are, you have 2 minutes to come here and surrender it."
He then walks forward, noticing a soldier who managed to survive due to his mecha being at the edge of the explosion and so only barely damaged , he then proceeds to lift the soldier and holds him in Alternus palm
"Or be reduced to ashs" he says as he crushs the soldiers by closing his fists.
Seconds later,a helicopter arrives at his location, on it is the leader of Carbombya, Abdul Fakkadi.
"Are you the leader of this country? and if so have you come to surrender or die?"
"We surrender! i just want to ask that you let me leave this country alive in return!"
Loternus then opens his mecha and jumps out of it,landing infront of Fakkadi "First i'd like you to gather all of the remaining citizens of this country here, i have an announcement to make"
15 minutes later.
"Those are all of our citizens, what did you want to announce?" said Abdul Fakkadi nervously, making sure to choose his words carefully.
Loternus then walks forward to stand infront of all the citizens, and creates the wind Glyphs to carry over his voice to them all.
"First of all, everyone kneel before your new ruler!" most of the citizens were taken back and trying to process what just happened, however some of them were quick to kneel before him, which earned them a blast of magical energy to the head.
"bunch of weaklings,no man with any sense of pride should kneel before anyone, even in death!" he says with a scowl on his face "B-but sir, you ordered us to!" says a random woman between sobs at her now dead husband.
"I only desired to yell that once in my life, i did not expect you peasant to actually throw your dignity so quickly!" Loternus then took a few seconds to calm down,and then proceeded to talk again "I want to inform you That you so called leader just sold out all of you here in exchange of his life" As soon as he was done he proceed to unsheath his sword and hold it in front of Fakkadi's face "thereby proving that his life is now worthless" and before he could respond Loternus proceeded to chop his head off.
Loternus then sheathed his sword and resume his speech " The second and most important announcement i have to make new citizens of Neo Destructa, is that things are about to change around here, your position in this country will be Determined solely by your own power! And so i'd like to offer two lucky citizens of this country a chance!"
He starts walking forward until he is right in front of the crowd "I am going to hold a fight to the death between the first 2 people to volunteer! the winner gets to choose whatever position he desires in this country....and the loser shall die along with the rest of his Family"
Loternus starts looking around the crowd "So, anyone who wants to take this wonderful chance?"

Suddenly in the middle of the battle,a giant mechanical knight appears.
However as soon as it appears it gets hit with some tank shells that were fired at the spot where it stood..
After the dust was cleared ,and much to the soldiers' shock, the mech appears to be unharmed, said shells failing to damage its nearly indestructible Orichalcum armor.
The soldiers stare in shock at the new entity that showed up before them, meanwhile Loternus smirks to himself "seems i've got their attention now" as he preforms a couple of hand signs to summon a wind sigil, using the wind to make his voice carry over to every single person in Carbombya.
" Citizens of this country whose name shall become Neo Destructa! I am your new ruler Loternus ,from the house of Altorias ,Future ruler of Destructa and current ruler of Neo Destructa , introducing myself to you all! you have but two options here: Accept me as your new ruler, and have a few of you die in vain!"
And then his voice lowers " or resist me, and have most of you die in Vain.."
He then proceeds to grab one of the fallen mechs, made it kneel on its hands and legs and sat on it while crossing his legs "you have 5 minutes to decide how many lives will be lost in my conquest, the end result however will be the same...so do take that into consideration"

A man is sitting in a lush garden behind a gigantic castle while drinking tea, when he was suddenly approached by a middle aged man
"Lord Loternus, it is tim- AGH" he was cut off by having his left arm torn apart, the blade's strike was so fast that he wouldn't have known about it happening...if it wasn't for the ungodly pain.
Sighing, the young man known as Loternus says"what do i keep telling you worms about interrupting my tea time, however you will only lose this arm because i happen to be in a good mood today" as he continues sipping his tea for a couple of minutes.
"i guess it's time" and proceeds to stand up ,before noticing the middle aged man still in pain on the ground"come on now, be a man and walk it off...your weakness is showing and it is unsightly"
At the subjugation center
"so you have arrived your majesty"says an elderly man, the scars and muscles on his body speak of the battles he has been through.
"Come on now master, you and i both know that i am unworthy of being called that by you. Not yet at least"
to this the old man lets out a hearty laugh"My my, when did you learn modesty? because i am sure i taught you no such thing!", this comment manages to get a smirk out of Loternus
"Overconfidence is weakness, and so is eagerness, it would be unbecoming of me to showcase those traits. Not as the prince of Destructa and especially not as the future king of it"
The smirk then disappears from his face and is replaced by a serious look " If all goes well that is."
"Clear your mind of doubts young prince, for now is the time!" says an old man clad in a robe who is standing in front of a giant gate "Are you prepared for your final test?"
For a split second, a look of concern appears on Loternus face,However no sooner then it appeared it was replaced by a look of determination "Yes i am fully prepared, i shall bring glory to Destructa! i swear on the name of my late father and the honor of my family!"
This speach causes the two elderly men to smile slightly "Somethings never change" says Loternus' master, "You are Truly your father's son" comments the old man in the robe.
Loternus then proceeds to kneel on a magical glyph on the ground, and stabs it with his sword while channeling magical energy through it, causing it to glow
"All of Destructa's sins shall be my sins, and all of Destructa's glory shall be mine, Liberation through Annihilation. Heed my call, Armor of Monarchy ALTERNUS!"
His body disappeared as soon as he finished reciting that, and the giant mecha standing in front of the gate starts to move "COURT MAGICIAN , SEND ME OFF TO EARN MY KINGDOM!"
"As you wish,young prince" he replies to him, as he begins to chant and cast magical Glyphs on the gate, after a couple of seconds the gate opens to his new destination
"My Saga begins here"

Created for Loternus since Birth, it is tailor made to support all of his abilities,including his versatility in magic.
In Knight mode,the mecha is covered in Armor made from the toughest material in his world, enchanted even further with the use of magic.
In Annihilator mode however, said armor transforms into a Gigantic blade, however it puts a lot of effort on the fragile interior body of the mecha to swing it so it
often ends up damaging it, and it also only leaves one free hand at most which is why it can only cast one spell at a time in this mode.

The ArcRazer: A blade's hilt that can channel magical energy, it's the last relic remaining from the kingdom of giants that opposed Destructa centuries ago, now it's
a family treasure passed down from one king to the next.
The Monarchy cape: A cape that changes its properties depending on what form Alternus is using, in its base form it can deflect projectiles.
ArcRazer, Crimson Glory Bringer mode: Loternus casts a flame Glyph on it,causing a blade of pure flames that burns what it touchs to manifest on it.
ArcRazer, Ice cold Reaper mode: Loternus casts an ice Glyph on it, causing a freezing scythe the causes anything it touchs to Freeze, in this mode the cape provides invisibility to the mecha.
ArcRazer, Lightning Flash Excutioner mode: Loternus casts a Lightning Glyph on it, causing a rapier of destructive electricty to take shape which is able to increase its length at lightning fast speed and even cause other mechas to malfunction from the shock , in this form the cape produces electromagnetic waves that mess up the various systems of the mechas around it.
