A little skip coming to her step, pulling her only slightly ahead of Anastasia as the two of them walked; Eretria spun around in front of her. Coming face to face as they continued to walk. Her steps carrying her backwards. While the sentiment about starting out the year with a bang had been appreciated; part of her was still a little anxious. It was a good idea, of course, but when you had someone like Ignatious on your squad, there was always the possibility that the phrasing could be taken a little too literally. And in a number of ways. The last thing they needed on the first day of school was an incident, or to be reprimanded. Though, she had faith in her squad.
They'd never let her down before... why would any of them start now..?
"We're gonna make this one a year to remember- let's come out the end of it as champions..!" Giving her friends hand a light squeeze, head turning long enough for her to cast a glance back over her shoulder at where they were going; it was only when they'd neared the cheerleading booth that she came to a stop. Retracting her hand back into her body, and not a few moments later, her attention was being drawn towards the sound of a familiar voice joining them. The gentle smile on her friends face causing her own to grow. Helping to light up her gentle features, and she stepped forward. Reaching her arms out to wrap around the back of Nora's neck long enough to give the girl a warm hug, "..depends on who you're asking for, Nor."
Chuckling softly, her hands drawing to her hips, though her stance remained relaxed and open as it almost always was; Tria chuckled softly. Her head giving a light shake before she actively began to look around the area they were stood in, "..I saw Gavin this morning before school; but I don't know where he is now. I haven't seen him since I got in. But I did see Danny, Damien, Marco, Maria, Theo and a few others just before... they were... uh..."
Pausing a moment, chewing lightly on her lower lip, she drew up onto the balls of her feet. Casting yet another glance around, though this time in a single direction before she eventually gave up. Instead motioning over to where she could vaguely remember seeing the group, "..they were over that way, somewhere. And why do I remember..? Because they were talking about food. And I came with Sawyer this morning. He ditched me as soon as he heard the words leave their lips. So I assume he's at... well, one of the food trucks here."
Shrugging her shoulders with soft chuckle, and a light shake of her head; she brought her attention back over to Nora, "I don't know about any of the others though, Nor- I missed homeroom. But I mean, if you wanna stick with us; the others pretty much know they can find us here at the cheerleading booth."
The words tumbling from her lips before she'd had the chance to give them even a moment of though; Sasha's gaze focused after another moment or two. Rising slightly. Enough that she was finally able to meet her best friends eyes through the reflection in the mirror. It was almost funny, really... how something so small as a deformity in her genetics was able to change life so drastically. And not just for her, but for so many people around her; and hell, it was just a handful so far, she hadn't even thought about telling the rest of her friends. Her class. The people she worked with. Not like that was really a conversation she wanted to be having with any of them; but she couldn't put it off forever. Eventually, it was going to come out. She knew that.
Turning her head after another moment, her attention drawing up to Sam from over her shoulder, it wasn't long before her body was following suit. Twisting around to face her best friend completely; she let her arms snake out and around her middle. Hugging her tightly, almost as though she were a lifering keeping her from falling below the surface where she knew she would end up drowning. Sammy was-... She was a Godsend. There was just no other words for her. Ever since she'd found out; she'd been so supportive. Right there by her side through pretty much everything. And if she was being completely honest with herself, she wasn't sure what she'd do without her, "..I just... wish everything could go back to how it was- before I ended up in the hospital... because I hate this."
Voice muffled slightly as she spoke, head burried in against Sammy's collar bone; it was a few moments of silence before she pulled back. Her arms relaxing slightly as she lifted her head to once more meet with her gaze, "..two years, Sam... at least- and that's only if the medication actually works..."
That was two years... Two years of feeling tired, and run down. Of dealing with nose bleeds, nausea, getting dizzy; and feeling like total crap after going in for her chemo. It was a lot to handle, and even if she made it through to the other end, there were still no guarentees that she was going to remain cancer free for the rest of her life. People relapsed all the time. Not that it meant she was giving up. Cancer was never in the plan, but then again, neither was dying, "..sorry... I just-... I just want to be normal again..."

"Oi, you lot..!
Ya look a little lost, are you new..? Ah... just arrived, I see. Well, I wouldn't worry too much; I know that it might be a bit overwhelming at first, but people slip into a rhythm pretty quickly around this joint, I can tell you that. I did- my friends did. You will too.
Hm..? Oh, you want some advice..? Huh... uh... I would have to say, my advice to you would be to have fun. Enjoy it as much as you can, and for as long as you can, because life here isn't always going to be so carefree or easy. I mean, just look at why we're all here. We're special- our parents are Gods... Goddesses... that doesn't come without its downfalls. Their enemies become yours; their battles become yours. Our lives are hard ones, we're basically their little soldiers, but, at least personally, I believe that it's worth it.
Look, from this point on, this camp is your home- the people you meet here, we're your family. And whether you decide you want to live here full-time like me, or just chill with us during the summer; it's always going to be that way. But I won't lie... we aren't without our quirks. Everyone here is different, and yeah, there are some who won't be quite so welcoming - if I were you, I'd just steer right clear of the Hades cabin - and you will need to be careful not to cross anyone too badly. Hell, even the biggest cinnimon roll can turn out to be dangerous around here. But again, try not to stress about it to much.
I have to head back to my forge, so I won't have time to give you a full rundown on the place, but know that you aren't going to ever be bored. There's always something going on that'll catch your attention, whether it's one of the activities, or even if it's just the Aphrodite kids gossiping. Even still... I'll give you a quick heads up about some of the cabins, and the type of people you find living in them. The Ares kids, well, majority of them are straight up pricks... they have anger issues, and just love picking fights. The children of Hermes have sticky fingers; well, a fair few of them do anyway, others aren't so bad. But pretty much all of them enjoy pulling a good prank or two. Oh, and if you ever find you're having trouble sleeping, I suggest you stop by the Morpheus cabin; best sleep you will ever have in your life.

Camp Half-Blood is a Greek demigod training facility which is located on the Long Island Sound, New York, and is directed by the Greek God, Dionysus (also known by campers as Mr. D), and Chiron, a centaur who along with the leaders of the camp, co-ordinate activities for the demigods who chose to live there. The camp has magical boarders, which are re-enforced by Thalia's tree, the Golden Fleece, and the dragon, Peleus; their magical powers helping to protect the camp and everyone in it from that which threatens to harm them.
Described by all who know about it as being the only true safe place for half-bloods to live in harmony, and without fear of their lives being in danger; Camp Half-Blood is also the Greek counterpart of Camp Jupiter, a Roman camp which is located in San Francisco, California.
Demigods living within the camp are provided with comfortable accommodation in cabins which are built by their Godly parents, are able to enjoy meals with their friends in the dining pavilion, and are, in some cases, given higher responsibilities if they have shown they deserve such. Though all campers are free to spend their time however they wish to, Camp Half-Blood does offer a range of many different activities and areas in which they may enjoy. These include, but are not limited to: the training grounds, the climbing wall with lava, the amphitheatre, the stables, the armory, the forge, and the Big House.
𝒫𝓁𝑒𝒶𝓈𝑒 𝒩𝑜𝓉𝑒: Though the camp is well known among the demigods and their parents; mortals throughout the world are unaware of its existance. As such, the cover story for the camp is as the 'Delphi Strawberry Service' - a reference to the Oracle of Delphi herself.
C A B I N I N F O :
Unlike the days past when camp only ever offered sanctuary for the children of the great twelve Olympians; the protection that Camp Half-Blood offers - thanks to an unbreakable promise made by the Gods themselves - now extends to children of those that wouldn't normally be offorded such an opportunity. The camp now housing over twenty different cabins, due in large part to the increasing number of demigods living there.
Each cabin within the camp is two stories in height, with most, if not all bedrooms situated on the second floor of the building; however, this is not standard as the layout of each cabin differs, giving campers plenty of choice when it comes to living quarters. Every demigod, with the exception of those in the Hermes cabin, each get their own room which they are free to decorate in any way that they see fit.
Equipt with shared bathrooms, cabins also offer campers their own kitchen with basic appliances (fridge, microwave, stove, oven, sink, etc.), and spacious communal living and dining areas which demigods are expected to share with their half-brothers and half-sisters during their time in camp. Campers are in charge of keeping both their cabins, and anything else affiliated with their cabins, clean and ready for the weekly inspection as performed by the cabin counselor appointed by Mr. D and Chiron. For example: the children of Hephaestus are expected to both clean and maintain not just their cabin, but also the forges they use during their time living in camp.
𝒫𝓁𝑒𝒶𝓈𝑒 𝒩𝑜𝓉𝑒: The Lady Hera, and the Lady Persephone's cabins only hold an honorary position within the camp out of courtesy to the two Goddesses. Lady Hera being Queen of the Gods, and Lady Persephone being Queen of the Underworld- neither have demigod offspring of their own. The Lady Artemis' cabin, is also honorary within the camp, however, this is due to the Goddess being one of the maiden/ virgin Goddesses. Nevertheless, Atremis' cabin does, at times, play host to the Huntresses in her charge whenever they choose to visit.
B I G H O U S E I N F O :
The Big House is home, not only to the camps director, Mr. D, but also to the many staff that work in the camp itself (Chiron, etc.), and the great Oracle of Delphi, whom can often be found in the attic. The Big House is also the main meeting place for the leaders of each cabin- a safe place within the camp where they can come together to discuss major problems, ideas, quests, and hold general council meetings without being interrupted by other campers. It's also the one place you can always find the camps main staff, Dionysus and Chiron, as they are always willing to enjoy a game of pinochle on the front porch.
P L A C E S O F I N T E R E S T :
Camp Half-Blood has varius places of interest where demigods are free to roam and hang out. Some such places around the camp include: Half-Blood hill and the surrounding forest, the mess hall, the infirmary, the stables, the training grounds, the amphitheatre, the climbing wall, the lake, the camp armory & forge, and Myrmeke Hill.
Half-Blood Hill & The Boarders : ۵ Half-Blood Hill is one of the many hills surrounding the valley where the camp is actually located; and is well known for being the place where Thalia Grace willingly gave up her life to save her fellow demigods and friends. Her sacrifice impressing the Gods enough that in order to preserve her memory, her father, Zeus, gifted her by turning her body into the beautiful pine tree- the tree, along with the Golden Fleece, and Peleus the dragon, work together in helping to create the safety barrier that surrounds the camp itself.
The main defence keeping the camp safe; the borders were designed to keep mortals, monsters, bad weather, and various other things out. While only campers, Satyrs, Gods, Nymphs, Maenads, Pegasi, and Cyclops' have the ability to come and go from the camp as they please; mortals and monsters who are given express permission by a camper may enter through the border. However, due to past situations consisting of campers letting monsters in as 'practical jokes', only counselors are able to give permission for entrance into the camp.
The Forest : ۵ The woods surrounding Camp Half-Blood are where the Dryads live, and where monsters are stocked up and lurking about. They're known as a dangerous place where demigods are warned not to venture unless they are both armed, and accompanied by a companion. It's in these forests that the demigods play capture-the-flag each Friday, and where others choose to go in order to hunt monsters for training purposes.
The Mess Hall : ۵ The mess hall of Camp Half-Blood, also known as the dining pavilion, is where campers are able to come and eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food served is a diet primarily made up of grapes, cheese, bread and extra-lean, nymph-cut barbecue- and while you can ask for whatever it is that you want to drink; some things, such as Coke, does not have the same flavor. Each cabin in the camp has their own table within the pavilion, and while it used to be a ruling that campers were not allowed to sit at a table not affiliated with their Godly parent, it is no longer uncommon for demigods to mix around and socialize with their friends during meal times.
Campers are also permitted to use the mess hall outside of meal times, however, during these instances, they are responsible for what they do, and are expected to clean up after themselves.
Located at the very center of the pavilion is a large bonfire which is always lit no matter what time of day it is. At the beginning of every meal campers partake in, each table takes turns in approaching the fire, and offering some of their best food to their Godly parents.
The Infirmary : ۵ A rather large building located between the mess hall, and the cabins; the infirmary is where wounded demigods usually get taken for treatment and healing from the children of Apollo who both run, and maintain it. Campers who participate in quests are expected to at least drop by the infirmary for a quick check-up sometime within three days of their return to the camp.
The Stables : ۵ The stables are where campers both house, and look after the pegasi and horses that are living on the camp grounds. While any demigod is more than welcome to help out around the stables when they wish to, both the Poseidon and Aphrodite cabins are in charge of making sure that the sweet creatures living there are well cared for, and have all that they need.
The stables are looked after and maintained by the children of both Poseidon and Aphrodite. Should campers have any requests for riding, or flying lessons, they should see the counselor in either cabin three, or cabin ten for details.
The Training Grounds : ۵ The training grounds is made up of a large open space with bleachers situated on either side of the field. And is a safe space where campers are free to practice their combat skills; either individually, in pairs, or even in groups. The grounds are located between the cabins and the armory- and the fields themselves home to over a dozen straw dummies in Greek armor, archery targets, as well as training swords and bows which campers are free to use anytime they so wish.
The training grounds are looked after and maintained by children of Ares, and Apollo. If campers have requests for combat lessons; they should see the counselor in cabin eight for details, however, if they wish for lessons in archery, they should either see Chiron, or the counselor in cabin eleven.
The Amphitheatre : ۵ The amphitheatre is the one place where all campers can gather as one for various reasons- this could be because the leaders need to address the camp as a whole, because the Gods wish to announce something, or even because the directors need to inform campers of quests, or worse, dangerous times falling upon the camp. The amphitheatre is also used by campers, mainly whenever they choose to throw parties, or celebrations of some kind. The use of the area, like other areas around camp, depending solely on what type of theme is given to the occassion being thrown.
The Lake : ۵ The lake is situated not too far away from the cabins, and along with the shore of the beach that runs alongside the camp itself, is there for demigods to use at their own leisure. The waters of the lake are not only home to the water nymphs, but are also used to water the fields of vegetation that are tended to, and harvested by children of Dionysus in order to stock the kitchens, and feed the campers who call Camp Half-Blood their home.
The Camp Armory : ۵ A large building located between the training grounds and the forge; the armory is where demigods have access to weapons they can use for training purposes. The building itself houses quite an extensive collection of not only swords, but also other weapons, such as: spears, clubs, crossbows, bow & arrows, and many more. Most, if not all weapons stored in the building are created by the Hephaestus children in the camps forges.
While every demigod is given the opportunity of having their own weapons, not all choose to take one until they feel that it's the right time; and while they are two completely separate building, both the armory and forge are oftentimes confused for one another.
The camp armory is looked after and maintained by children of Ares; if campers have any requests for choosing a weapon, about weapon maintenance, or even training, they should see the counselors in cabin eight for details.
The Camp Forge : ۵ White marble columns lining walls stained with soot, chimneys on the roof that pump out smoke over the gable with carvings of the Gods and monsters; the camp forge is located towards the edge of a stream, with water-wheels spinning bronze gears that help keep it running. The campers at Half-Blood, depending on where they are, can always hear the sound of machinery working, fires crackling, and the ever familiar clang of hammers hitting agianst metal.
Inside the forge are tables filled with various projects and weapons created by the children of Hephaestus that live in the camp. The forge itself is a place where the children of fire can oftentimes, in not all the time, be found; either working on different projects, or using the wall-sized map of the area to plan traps and other things in the hopes of helping to increase defense in the event of an attack.
The camp forge is looked after and maintained by children of Hephaestus. If campers have any requests for weapons, machines, or specially made items, they should see the counselor in cabin nine for details.
Myrmeke Hill : ۵ First thought to be nothing more than a myth until found by some demigods who have since moved on from camp; Myrmeke Hill is located in the North-West side of the woods, and has many burrowing nests scattered around, each leading deep down towards the Earth's core, and filled with larva, metals and various armor. However, due to the Myrmekes in the area, not many demigods venture out there, and those who do don't do so on their own, or without having some sort of plan first.
Camp Store : ۵ The camp store sells Camp Half-Blood t-shirts, toothbrushes, windchimes (available in Celestial bronze, silver, and seashells that can interpret the voices of prophecy-sprouting trees), packs of Mythomagic cards, tote bags, and more.
The camp store is looked after and maintained by children of Hermes. If campers have any requests, they should see the counselor in cabin six for more details.
Cave of the Oracle : ۵ The cave of the Oracle is where the current camp oracle, Rachel Elizabeth Dare, can be found when she isn't in the Big House. The cave walls are covered in various paintings relating to her visions, which sometimes help her and others to gain a better understanding of them. Outside the cave, there are two large torches between which is a purple curtain covering the entire cave, helping to give privacy to the person inside. The cave has also been decorated with massive sofas and an unnatural amount of throw pillows.
Bunker 9 : ۵ Created by the children of Hephaestus; Bunker 9 is at least 200 years old, and was used as a safe domain during the Demigod Civil War, and on a few occasions since. Fifty floors below the ground, not including the bunker entrance (which is big enough to house the flying ship, Argo II), and able to be opened only by fire; it now serves as a safe haven for children of Hephaestus to work on their projects far from prying eyes and various interuptions. First re-discovered by camps very own Leo Valdez; he since passed on the secret to his younger siblings. Entrusting them with its many treasures, one of which happens to be the remains of James Dean's Porsche 550 Spyder. Bunker 9 is also home to the mechanical war elephant, Phil, when he is not needed for Seige, or the War Games.
Bunker 9 is looked after and maintained by the children of Hephaestus, and is unable to be accessed without their help or permission.
Zeus' Fist : ۵ A large cluster of rocks that campers remark is a clear likeness to Zeus's Fist; it is actually an entrance, or exit (depending on how you look at it) into The Labyrinth, and furthermore, through to the Underworld. And while it's a rather quick way to traverse long distances in a short time, it is unwise to do so without a child of the Underworld by your side. Also campers beware... because you never know what you'll face down there.
The Athena Parthenos : ۵ A forty-feet-tall statue of the Goddess Athena which was once the central figure in the Parthenon of Athens; it currently stands on Half-Blood Hill. Brought to Camp Half-Blood during the Second Demigod Civil War by Reyna Ramírez-Arellano, along with Gleeson Hedge and Nico Di Angelo; it served as the neutral territory where the Greek and Roman demigods meet in order to mend rifts, hold meetings, and attempt to heal the split personalities of the Gods.
The Geysers : ۵ Located hidden within the forest surrounding the camp, the geysers are a beautiful sight to be seen, and they are home to two Palikoi (geyser spirits, and guardians of sacred oaths), Pete and Paulie.
The Hot Springs : ۵ Another little wonder hidden in the forest; the hot springs are a group of naturally formed pools that where demigods go to relax, and to treat themselves to a 'spa day' at the hands of the children of Aphrodite.
The Hot Springs are looked after and maintained by children of Aphrodite. If campers have any questions, they should see the counselor in cabin ten for more details.
The Council Grove : ۵ The Council Grove is where the Council of Cloven Elders meet to discuss matters pertaining to Satyrs - Lord Dionysus and his children can sometimes be found here attending meetings when necissary.
Maenad Party Area : ۵ The Maenad Party Area is where the Maenads enjoy throwing their parties - campers are encouraged to steer clear of this area.
The Creeks : ۵ Camp Half-Blood is home to two creeks in which campers are encouraged to enjoy. These include: Euros Creek, and Zephyros Creek.
C A M P A C T I V I T I E S :
Camp Half-Blood has various activities on offer for campers to join in on as they please. Some of the activities on offer include: Capture the flag, the obstacle tower, the chariot course, and the trial of dreams.
Capture The Flag : ۵ Capture the flag is a long-time tradition within the camp, and is held religiously every Friday, unless unforeseen circumstances call for the match to be cancelled or postponed. The game itself is usually played within the forest surrounding the camp, and despite it being extremely dangerous due to the monsters located in that area, it's considered to be exceedingly beneficial for demigods as it trains them for a life out in the real world. Two teams made up of cabins and their alliances are each given a flag that they are to protect.
On each side of the forest, both teams hide their flag somewhere not only visible, but also easily defensible. In order for a team to win, they must first capture their opponents flag, and then carry it across the river which helps to work as a divider between the two sides of the forest. Mostly serving as battlefield medic and referee during the matches, Chiron often steps aside, allowing the older demigods, and sometimes even the Gods themselves a chance to run the games.
Though the campers of Half-Blood usually play this game amongst themselves, it is tradition that whenever the Hunters of Artemis visit the camp, a 'friendly' game of capture the flag will be held in honor of their visit- however, the record of games lost to the Hunters tends to make the campers who play weary of agreeing to such traditions. With no camper wanting to add another loss to the score, which currently stands at fifty-six to zero (much to Chiron's dismey); disagreements and rivalries get set aside. Allowing the camp to work as one against the semi-immortal demigoddesses.
The Obstacle Tower : ۵ The obstacle tower is a fast-paced and dangerous activity where demigods have the chance to show others in camp just what they're made of. Campers compete against one another in a show of strength, agility, and intelligence as they race through the obstacles in their path; doing all that they can to be the first to scale the tower, and take hold of the golden ring located at the very top.
The tower itself stands tall at almost three stories high; and contains various revolving platforms and stages, fire pits, thick metal beams, rope ladders, and wooden grips that campers are able to pull out from underneath one another at any given moment. At the top of the structure is a large centurion-like helm that holds a removable golden circular ring which stands as a trophy for the camper who manages to scale the tower and its obstacles first.
The Climbing Wall : ۵ The climbing wall, also known as the lava wall, is said to spew lava out as an 'extra challenge' to campers who are brave enough to try their hand at mastering the wall. If campers climbing the walls are not quick enough to get to the top, the walls clash together; causing the lava to pour out over the top. Catching on the campers clothes, and tearing them to shreds.
The Chariot Course : ۵ Though a previously banned event in Camp Half-Blood, the chariot races were then reintroduced to campers during the short period of time in which Chiron was suspended from his position in camp. The chariot races consist, mostly, of teams of two racing their chariots around the large track that runs its course around both the lake, and the camp itself. Traditionally, one member of the team focuses on being the driver, while the other focuses on attacking their opponent's chariots with various weapons and vehicle modifications. Though there are some who prefer to race solo, taking on all tasks. It's because of this dangerous situation that only the oldest demigods of camp are allowed to participate in the actual event.
The horses used in the event can vary greatly depending on the camper, or team of campers participating. For example: the Ares children more commonly prefer to use skeletal horses, the Hephaestus children preferring to use mechanical horses of their own making, while the children of Hades prefer to use horses that were raised in the Underworld.
Volleyball & Basketball Courts : ۵ As their names would suggest, this is where demigods are welcome to go in order to enjoy playing a game or two of volleyball or basketball.
Arts & Crafts Center : ۵ A favorite place of Athena's children who inherited their mothers more craft-related traits, the arts and crafts center is open to any who wish to embrace their artistic side. Always fully stocked; the center houses various skeins of naturally dyed yarn, easels with stretched canvases, blocks of marble and clay, and all the tools, paints, and anything else a demigod could ask for.
The arts and crafts center is looked after and maintained by Erin Maree Chase. If campers have any requests or questions, they should see her in cabin thirteen for details.
Deathball : ۵ A game similar to paintball; Deathball, however, is played using acid, poison, and fireballs as the primary weapons. Causing the risks of serious injury and death to be much higher.
Siege : ۵ Similar to Capture the Flag; Siege is a team game played where one team defends a fortress while the other attempts to breach the fort and seize the banners of the opposing team. The defending team is given the fort along with an arsenal of weapons, including water cannons, scorpion ballistae, and iron portcullis, while the attacking team gets Phil, the mechanical war elephant created by the children of Hephaestus.
Gladiator Fighting : ۵ As the name would suggest, this is where the demigods of camp compete against one another, gladiator style.
The War Games : ۵ Originally introduced to Camp Half-Blood by the Roman demigods and legacies of Camp Jupiter, who would normally run them on the Field of Mars; the War Games consists of four separate competitions in which demigods compete in order to emerge victorious. These activities include: Deathball, Siege, Gladiator Fighting, and Chariot Racing.
Trial Of Dreams : ۵ A rather newly formed activity, the trial of dreams is both hosted and supervised by the children of the Morpheus cabin. Those who are brave enough to participate in the event are transported into the Dream Realm where all types of strange and unknown dangers lurk in waiting. Campers are split up into two separate teams and a leader is chosen to help lead them to victory; but in order to win, they not only have to work together to take out their opponents, but they must also face an ever shifting arena, strange and deadly creatures, and even the very person that manipulates the world they are in.
The trial of dreams is hosted by the Morpheus cabin. If enough campers wish to participate, they should see Adeline Vos in cabin fifteen for details.
C A M P T R A D I T I O N S :
Camp Half-Blood has several traditions derived from its Greek roots which campers participate in routinely.
Winners & Victors : ۵ Whether it's as simple as winning one of the various activities, or returning victorious from a quest, those demigods are given laurel wreaths and are celebrated by their fellow campers by being hoisted up, and paraded around the camp.
Funeral Shrouds : ۵ One of the more poignant traditions carried out in camp; anytime a camper goes on a quest, their siblings weave them a funeral shroud in the unfortunate case that they do not survive. If the camper in question has no siblings, another cabin may volunteer to do it. However, should they return victorious, in celebration, the camp throws them a welcome home party where the camper gets to ceremoniously burn the shroud on a large open fire.
Camp Beads : ۵ The most prominent tradition practiced in camp is the camp beads. Each demigod, after arriving at camp, is given the camp necklace. At the end of each summer, the head counselors meet up and vote on the biggest event of the year before painting it on a bead, and handing one to each camper. Helping to celebrate another year passing at Camp Half-Blood.
Wet Guppies : ۵ A tradition as old as time; to initiate new demigods, campers will often parade them through camp before casting them into the lake, and celebrating by throwing a welcome party where they can meet and greet their new family.

Quests at Camp Half-Blood can only be issued to a camper if they have met with the Oracle of Delphi, and have been given the honor of recieving a prophecy from her. A quest is one of the few times in which demigods are given permission to leave the safety of the camp, though there are other instances when such things are made possible to campers.
The demigod whom recieves the prophecy is normally automatically considered to be the leader of the quest; and while this person is allowed to pick two companions to accompany them on their journey, it is not unheard of for that person to pick more, less, or even none at all, depending on their personal preference. In some cases, the companions themselves are picked out, volunteer, or are suggested to the leader during a meeting with the camp leaders where they discuss details of the quest in question.
While a quest is something that almost all demigods stive to be apart of, there are rare times in which a camper will slip into madness after recieving a prophecy from the Oracle; however, it is unknown about what happens to the quest itself if such a thing occurs as there has not been an instance like this in years.

Set in a time after the great war for Olympus, those who helped to fight for the survival of the pantheons have all grown up, and moved on with their lives; passing the reigns onto a new set of heroes who will step up and take their place when the time comes to fight again. Some of these alumni of camp being well known figures, such as: Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and the Satyr known as Grover.

Perseus "Percy" Jackson :
"Mom; hey, I'm alive. I'm sorry. I'm on a quest- I'll make it home. I promise. Love you."
۵ Son of Poseidon, and one of the seven heroes of Olympus; Percy Jackson is well known throughout both Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter, as well as throughout the halls of Olympus. Seen to sometimes be thinkheaded and pompous when it comes to certain situations, Percy has never once failed to rush to his friends aid.
Now over the age limit of the camp, and having helped to make many changes during his time which have helped to better the lives of all demigods; Percy has since then left the safety of the camps boundaries. Taking up a permanent home with his now fiance, Annabeth Chase, in New Rome.
Annabeth Chase :
"Don't you ever feel like, what if the world really is messed up..? What if we could do it all over again from scratch..?"
۵ Daughter of Athena, and one of the seven heroes of Olympus; Annabeth Chase has always been known for not just her strength, but also her intelligence. The now young woman held in high regard throughout both Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter, as well as throughout the halls of Olympus. Determined to make something of her life, and to do what it is that she loves; Annabeth has oftentimes been referred to as the next Daedalus, and has proven her skill when it comes to questing, and designing her architectural wonders which are filled with Greek inspiration.
Now over the age limit of the camp, and ready to spread her wings further than ever before; Annabeth has since then left the safety of its boundaries. Taking up a permanent home with her now fiance, Percy Jackson, in New Rome.
Grover Underwood :
"Stop it..! You're as bad as Juniper. I think she wants me to run for president next."
۵ A satyr, and the new Lord of the Wild, Grover Underwood is responsible for helping many a demigod find their way to the safety of Camp Half-Blood. Best friends with the infamous Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase; Grover has always done everything he can to stand up for what he believes is right. And while oftentimes not bothering to show just how scared he might be, his courage and bravery shines through when needed the most.
Now a fully-fledged Satyr, Grover no longer calls the camp his home; instead choosing to travel the world with his fiance, Juniper, while fulfilling his duties as the new Lord of the Wild.
Luke Castellan ⧿ Deceased :
"Ethan. Me. All the unclaimed. Don't let it... Don't let it happen again."
۵ Once the favored son of Hermes; Luke Castellan was ultimately tricked by the Titan God Kronos into hosting his spirit, and in turn, into raising him back from his prison in the depths of Tartarus. Realizing what it was that he had done, and all the pain that he had caused, Luke eventually redeemed himself. Helping to take down Kronos, and restoring his once good name in the eyes of many who knew him by giving his life at the young age of only twenty-three, so that he could save his friends, and ultimately, the world.
Clarisse La Rue :
"I am Clarisse..!? Drakon-Slayer..!? I will kill you all..!? Where is Kronos- bring him out..!? Is he a coward..?"
۵ Daughter of Ares, and known as the 'Drakon Slayer'; Clarisse La Rue was once feared as the bully of Camp Half-Blood. Only ever showing her more compassionate and loving side to those she truly cared about, such as Chris Rodriguez and Silena Beauregard. Ultimately putting down her foot and refusing to allow the Ares cabin to join in the fight when the war for Olympus began; the interference, love and eventual loss of her best friend, Silena Beauregard, to the hand of Kronos caused her to snap. Single-handedly taking down the Drakon, and in her anger, calling out for Kronos to face her in combat.
Having played her part to help keep the camp safe, and to keep the world from being destroyed, Clarisse, now over the age limit of the camp, is moving on with her life as best as she can. Attending the University of Arizona with her long-time boyfriend, Chris Rodriguez.
Tyson :
"You are not dead..! I like it when you are not dead..!"
۵ Cyclops son of Poseidon, and half-brother to Percy Jackson himself; Tyson is oftentimes seen to be both child-like and very enthusiastic when it comes to life, and the world around him. Very protective over not just his friends, but his siblings - both cyclops and demigod - Tyson always does everything he can to help them out with whatever situation they find themselve in.
Having done his part in the war, and helped his father to lead the defensive charge for the rule over the oceans and the rest of Poseidon's domain; Tyson now holds a high position within his father's court and under water forges. Oftentimes returning to the surface so that he can visit his friends and family, spend time with his girlfriend Ella (a beautiful Harpy), or even to run errands for his father.
Thalia Grace :
"I'm honoring a friend. I must join the hunt, Percy. I haven't known peace since... since Half-Blood Hill."
۵ Born a daughter of the mighty Zeus himself; Thalia Grace sacrificed herself at a young age in order to save her friends, and give them the opening they needed to get through the safety barrier of the camp. Impressed with his daughters actions, and suffering from grief at losing a child, Zeus transformed her into the large pine tree of Half-Blood Hill where she was to forever guard the entrance of the camp.
Poisoned and taken ill during Luke's assault on the camp, Thalia's pine was ultimately saved when Clarisse La Rue, Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Tyson, and Grover Underwood succeeded in their quest. Returning with the Golden Fleece, and restoring the pine back to its former glory. Though, unbeknownst to everyone, the Fleece worked its magic better than any could have hoped; healing and also restoring life to the young girl who had heroically saved the lives of three the night that she passed. Brave, strong, and back in the arms of her best friend, Annabeth Chase, Thalia stuck to what she knew. Helping to protect the camp and to find the home she had been searching for before her untimely death.
No wanting to play a part in the prophecy, unable to find exactly what it was she was looking for, and wanting to honor her friend after her passing; Thalia chose to cast aside her life at camp. Instead pledging her life to the Goddess Artemis by joining the Hunt, and becomming one of the immortal Huntresses. Quickly working her way through the ranks, and now Artemis' second in command; Thalia leads the Hunt. Showing up every so often at the camp, and meeting the new demigods who have now taken the mantle of 'hero' from her friends.
Nico Di Angelo :
"But it's cool. We're cool. I mean, I see now... you're cute Percy, but you're not my type."
۵ Born somewhere in the mid to late 1830's, and saved from certain death by their father, Lord Hades; Nico Di Angelo and his older sister, Bianca, were hidden away from the world, as well as the other Gods and Goddesses, in the Lotas Hotel. Removed from the safety of the hotel some 186 years later, Nico and his sister were saved by Thalia Grace, Annabeth Chase and Percy Jackson, but found themselves in the company of the Goddess Artemis and her immortal Huntresses. Given an offer she felt she couldn't refuse, Bianca chose to pledge her life to the Goddess, leaving Nico in the care of Percy and the rest of Camp Half-Blood. Unable to understand why his older sister was pushing him away, Nico did as he was told. Waiting patiently at the camp for the groups return only to then be told that he had lost the only family he had left in the world.
Devastaded by the news of his sisters death, and blaming Percy personally; Nico ran away from the safety of the camp. Hiding himself from the world, and simply wandering. Using his time alone to explore his powers and to search out a way to once more see his late sister. Though holding a grudge against, and a well hidden likeness towards Percy for his roll in Bianca's death; Nico played his part. Standing up to his father, doing everything that he could to help win the war against the Titans, Nico worked hard to save all those who he had grown to care for. Leaving the camp behind again when the war was won, Nico found himself once more wandering until he eventually found a home at Camp Jupiter under the guidance of the great praetor, Reyna.
Now older- wiser, and no longer holding his friends responsible for things that happened in the past, Nico has finally found peace. Accepting himself completely, and now living comfortably in New Rome with his fiance, Will Solace.
Jason Grace :
"I'm the son of Jupiter..! I'm a child of Rome, consul to demigods, praetor of the First Legion."
۵ Born the son of Jupiter, and the younger brother to Thalia Grace; Jason Grace was separated from both his mother and sister at a young age. Brought to and raised into the life of a Roman soldier in Camp Jupiter. Climbing the ranks, and jumping from cohort to cohort; Jason ultimately ended up Praetor of the first cohort alongside Reyna before an unfortunate incident left him lost of memories, and in the company of those he didn't know. Going with the flow, and eventually regaining all memories that had been locked away in his mind; Jason, along with the other six heroes of Olympus fulfilled the prophecy, and made his choice. Giving up his life and position in Camp Jupiter so that he could instead stay at Camp Half-Blood with his long-term girlfriend, Piper McLean.
Now both over the age limit of the camp, and ready to start a life together, Jason and Piper have since began to travel together; their current whereabouts unknown at this time by all except their friends.
Piper McLean :
"Being a hero doesn't mean you're invicible; it means you're brave enough to stand up and do what's needed."
۵ Daughter of Aphrodite, and named by her grandfather in hopes that she might one day learn all the songs of her Cherokee heritage and people; Piper McLean always sought for her father's love and attention. Her actions and (unbeknownst to her) ability to charmspeak though, always landing her in trouble one way or another. A 'borrowed' lawn mower from the neighbors here... a 'gifted' brand new convertible from the dealership there- and eventually, her antics led her father into sending her off to a boarding school.
That was where she met him.
Jason was strange, different; and falling hard, Piper followed him. Their interactions and budding relationship eventually leading to the truth about her parentage being revealed, and a young girl by the name of Anabeth Chase saving them from danger before ultimately bringing them back to Camp Half-Blood. Thrown into a whole new world, Piper took to the new challenge head on. Fighting alongside the other six heroes of Olympus in order to stop the evil, and to save the world from certain doom.
Now with the prophecy fulfilled, and having hit the age limit of the camp, Piper was more than ready to leave the camp hand in hand with her long-time boyfriend, Jason Grace. Their current whereabouts, however, is unknown at this time by all except for their friends.
Leo Valdez :
"I try not to think. It interferes with being nuts."
۵ Son of Hephaestus, and one of the seven heroes of Olympus; Leo Valdez showed signs of his demigod abilities from the young ago of only three years old. Not getting along with much of his family due to his gifted nature, and oftentimes wild antics; Leo was shunned by his aunt and forced into foster home after foster home after the untimely death of his mother, and the unfortunate part in which he played in her passing. Eventually finding his way into a boarding school for troubled youths, Leo fell into step and formed strong bonds with Jason Grace and Piper McLean- the three almost inseparable, and always causing some sort of mischief together.
Thrown from the skywalk at the top of the Grand Canyon during a monster attack on a field trip; Leo was saved by his best friend, Jason, the action causing Leo to learn about his true parentage before a beautiful young girl by the name of Annabeth Chase swooped in, ultimately saving them from danger before escorting the three of them to Camp Half-Blood. With a sense of belonging, and full of life, Leo threw himself into the world of demigods with a fever. Doing everything that he could to help the other six heroes of prophecy on their quest, however, somehow managing to wind up on the cursed island of Ogygia in the process. This was when he met the islands only inhabitant, Calypso.
While at first hating each other, their relationship began to grow into something deeper, and upon his departure from the island, they shared a loving kiss. Leo vowing on the River Styx that he would do everything in his power to somehow return and set her free. Eventually managing to do just that after helping to defeat the Goddess Gaea; Leo fulfilled his promise. Rescuing Calypso from her prison and sailing back to Camp Half-Blood with her at his side.
Now over the age limit set by the camp, Leo and his now fiance, Calypso, live a happy life. Working together in the forges of Hephaestus, and every so often venturing out and returning to the camps in order to catch up with their friends and family.
Frank Zhang :
"Come on..! You want to know what Frank Zhang is worth..? Come on..!"
۵ Born the son of Mars, legacy of Poseidon, and one of the legendary seven heroes of Olympus; Frank Zhang was once a military brat left in the care of his grandmother after the loss of his mother during a military accident in Afganistan. Able to combine his ancestral gift with the powers inherited from his divine parent; Frank has always been seen as one of the more dangerous of demigods to have lived. Causing debate to run through the pantheons in regards to the span of which he would be able to live his life.
Arriving at Camp Jupiter, and begging forgiveness for the actions of his ancestors, Frank was welcomed into the camp. Working and training alongside Percy Jackson and Hazel Levesque, making his mark, and showing immense skill with the bow and arrow. Doing his part to help fulfill the prophecy of legend; Frank fought side by side with the other six heroes on the Argo II. Helping to take down the evil threatening the world, and to once more make it peaceful enough for the next generation to take over. Returning back to camp when all was said and done, Frank took up the mantle of Praetor of the First Cohort from Jason Grace after the decision was made that Jason would return to Camp Half-Blood.
Now over the age limit of camp, and having helped to choose his successor; Frank now lives comfortably in New Rome with his long-term girlfriend, Hazel Levesque.
Hazel Levesque :
"I'm not choosing one of your paths. I'm making my own."
۵ Born in 1928 as a daughter of Pluto, and having her gifts not only being used and abused by her mother, but also by the Goddess Gaea; Hazel Levesque ultimately ended her life, and the life of her mother in sacrifice to save the world from Gaea's plan. Giving up her chance to go to Elysium in order to save her mother from the Fields of Punishment; the judges of the Underworld eventually made their decision, sending the both of them to the Fields of Asphodel instead. It was here, nearly seventy years later, where her half-brother, Nico Di Angelo, found her while in search of his biological sister, Bianca.
Bringing her back to the land of the living due to the doors of death being open, Hazel was once more restored to life, though with consequence. Suffering from 'blackouts' of her horrible past whenever she tried to think about it, Hazel eventually made her way to Camp Jupiter. Working alongside Percy Jackson and Frank Zhang, and doing all that she could to push herself to the limits, and to protect what she cared about most. One of the seven heroes of prophecy; Hazel boarded the Argo II with the other six demigods. Playing her part, and doing everything in her power to help see it fulfilled.
Now over the age limit of the camp, Hazel lives comfortably in New Rome. Attending the university, and living her life to the fullest with her now longtime boyfriend, Frank Zhang.
Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano :
"I am praetor of the legion. I judge this to be in the best interest of Rome."
۵ Revered daughter of Bellona; Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano and her sister were hidden away from the world by their mother in order to save them from the war hitting San Juan. Left in the middle of the sea of monsters on Circe's Island, the two grew up safe and sound; acting as attendants to guests who found or made their way to the island for C.C's Spa and Resort. Though the peace was soon to end.
Taken hostage by Blackbeard after Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase ultimately freed the band of pirates from their cursed state; Reyna and her sister Hylla were taken prisoner, and held captive on the island they once called home. Both daughters of Bellona, Reyna and Hylla learned to use weapons quickly and managed to escape from the island, and in time, the sea of monsters. Eventually making it back to land after a long and tiring journey; the two sisters went their separate ways. Hylla choosing to join the Amazons, eventually becoming the Amazon Queen and giving birth to her own daughter; while Reyna found her way to Camp Jupiter, working hard and proving herself until eventually, she became Praetor alonside Jason Grace for a time.
Now over the age limit of the camp, and having successfully chosen the next Praetor to take her place; Reyna continues to live in New Rome. Helping to oversee the camp, the city, and the people who choose to call it their home.
Will Solace :
"I told you, no more Underworld-y stuff, doctor's orders. You owe me at least three days of rest in the infirmary. Starting now."
۵ The much loved son of Apollo; Will Solace became head counselor of the Apollo cabin after his half-brother, Michael Yew, was killed during the battle of New York. An exceptional healer, and now head medic, Will worked tirelessly on the battle field and back at camp, making sure to help and lead the other Apollo children in fixing and mending the wounds of those who fought to protect their way of life - such as healing Annabeth Chase after she was wounded while defending Percy Jackson in battle.
Having done more than his fair share to help the camp in its many times of need, and helped to train the future of the Apollo cabin in what it is to be apart of such a great legacy; Will has passed down the mantle of head counselor and medic. Moving with his now fiance, Nico Di Angelo, to New Rome where he now works in the hospital as top surgeon, and head doctor.
Calypso :
"They send me a hero I can't help-... just the sort of person I can't help falling in love with."
۵ One of the three daughters of Atlas; Calypso, as punishment for her support of Atlas in the First Titanomachy, was sentenced to live out eternity upon the cursed island of Ogygia, also known as Calypso's island, where, as punishment from the Gods and Goddesses, different heroes she couldn't help but fall in love with would end up. It was during her imprisonment, that she eventually, and rather tortuously met: Odysseus, Sir Francis Drake, Percy Jackson, and Leo Valdez.
While at first hating one another, their relationship began to blossom, and upon Leo's departure from the island, they shared a loving kiss; with Leo vowing on the River Styx that he would do everything in his power to somehow return, and set her free from her cursed home. Waiting patiently for his return, though with fading hope; Leo eventually fulfilled his promise, rescuing Calypso from her prison and sailing back to Camp Half-Blood with her at his side.
Now over the age limit set by the camp, Calypso lives a much happier life. Working together in the Forges of Hephaestus with her now fiance, Leo Valdez; the two of them every so often return to New Rome and Camp Half-Blood to visit, sometimes even venturing out into the world together so they can catch up with their family and friends.
Chiron :
"A hero can go anywhere, challenge anyone, as long as he has the nerve."
۵ Centaur son of the Titan King, Kronos; Chiron is the activities director at Camp Half-Blood, and infamous trainer of many well-known heroes from Greek mythology, including: Hercules, Jason, and Achillies.
Standing tall alongside the Greek and Roman demigods, Cyclopses, Satyrs, and Nymphs in order to defend the camp; Chiron helped Nico Di Angelo honor the fallen heroes before ultimately complementing the Greek and Roman groups of demigods on their newly formed alliance and friendship. Immortal, and still willing to do that which he does best; Chiron continues to work at Camp Half-Blood, training and guiding the new generation of demigods who cross his path into the next heroes of Olympus.
Rachel Elizabeth Dare :
"And I don't have to see the future to tell you what to do now, do I..?"
۵ The human daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dare, and able to see through the mist; Rachel Elizabeth Dare is an energetic and artisy young woman who, while not a demigod, has done more than her fair share to help Percy Jackson complete not only his quests, but to also fulfill the first big prophecy over the years of knowing one another. Always feeling as though she was meant for something greater; Rachel stole away with both Chiron and Blackjack during the war for New York and Olympus, making her way to the camp and meeting with the God Apollo where she accepted the new responsibility, ultimately taking up the mantle, and becoming the new Oracle of Delphi.
Born with a gift, and with the curse of Hades lifted; Rachel made the choice to continue attending school. However, she had never been one to hold back her worries about being the Oracle's host- scared that she might suddenly speak a prophecy in the middle of class... The one to recite the prophecy of the seven heroes of Olympus; Rachel continued to do all she could to help. Continuing her work as the Oracle, and bringing the seven demigods of prophecy together so that they could fulfill their destiny.
Now graduated both high school, and college with a degree of art under her belt; Rachel lives full-time at Camp Half-Blood, spending her days working on her art, and reciting prophecies to those both lucky and unlucky enough to be sent her way.

This roleplay is classed as High-Casual; and while the standard calls for posts consisting of at least two paragraphs of non-dialogue at minimum, we do value the stance of quality over quantity. Sometimes you just don't need a big show in order to get the point across.
In order to be considerate towards everyone in the roleplay; the maximum time limit between posts will be a total of fourteen. This deadline however can be extended with previous communication with the GMs. Should you not post by this time, we shall shamelessly spam you in order to see what’s up. Until you are heard back from, your character will be excused from any interactions they may currently be in order to free up the other characters, and will be put on a hiatus.
Communication is a must- consider this to be the golden rule. If you need an extension on posting, if you aren't going to be around for a time, need a break, have something going on, or simply wish to leave the roleplay for some reason or another, please let us know. It’s not only polite, but also much appreciated.
Have an idea for a quest, event, activity that you believe in and think others would enjoy? Please feel free to bring it up with us. We’ll most likely say yes, and will do our best to incorperate your idea into the roleplay.
This is a heavily character-driven roleplay. And as such, there is a requirement for all characters to interact with each other in one way or another. Every character, no matter who they are, will have their moments to shine, and interactions help a lot with this. After all, nobody wants anyone to feel left out.
Please use common sense when posting; and try your best to not overwhelm the IC with several posts right after the other. Allow for at least two people to post after you before making your next one. This is inclusive of posting for different characters. Collaborations are encouraged, but we ask that you don't go overboard with them as they tend to slow down roleplay if used too often.
We all love a good romance, and while we very much encourage relations between characters, please know that Guild Rules do apply when it comes to the more steamier scenes. When in doubt, fade to black.
If any situations arise between you and a particular user, we ask that you either take it to PMs, DMs or you let us GM's know to see if the situation can be resolved amicably.

Sweet and charming to everyone that crosses her path; Adeline is regarded throughout the camp as an extremely graceful and very loving young woman. One of kind heart that cares deeply for all around her, even if the feelings aren't necessarily reciprocated. Full of life, and curious about the world despite her obvious disadvantage; it's normally not without the help of her best friends - Valeria, Brynn and Corona - that she often finds herself locked firmly in the eye of some type of mischief, whether she wishes to be there or not. Nevertheless, whether she finds herself at the mercy of something as simple as a paper cut, or something a little bigger such as accidentally falling off the dock and into the camps lake; the cheerful daughter of Morpheus never seems to let her disability get in the way of her living the life that she wants to.
Welcoming of all with her warm and good natured persona, it isn't to say that she's always such. Very open with her emotions, not particularly afraid to let others know how she's feeling - aside, of course, for when she finds herself crushing on another - Adeline oftentimes finds herself rather easily overwhelmed in certain situations, such as being surrounded by large crowds or when she's given large amounts of information at once. However, she has proven time and time again through her own determination that, once given enough time to adjust, she has no issues in putting herself out there.

Stubborn on occasion - a trait she only seemed to pick up after meeting her best friends in camp - especially when it comes to something she truly believes in; Adeline has shown recently that she is willing to stand up for her point of view rather than back down once she's made up her mind about something of importance. And with the encouragement of her friends behind her, it's almost impossible to convince her otherwise once she does so. Oddly grown-up and mature for her age, thanks in large part to her disability, Adeline is set on never being a burden to her friends and others around her- almost obsessively so. Leading her to do what she can to help out; and even going to far as to put her own needs aside in favor of the needs of others. Always wanting to give them her very best, no matter how difficult the task might seem for her.
Though showing a more quiet type of confidence behind the calm air she exudes, almost from her very core, Adeline does sometimes pull away from the company of others. Becoming a little more reserved and thoughtful- it's in these times that she chooses to loose herself in music, or even in her own little world. Unnaturally bright, and unique in her own special way; Addie has quite the aptitude for thinking either outside the box, or of simpler answers to questions and problems that are posed. Her intelligence always leaving those around her surprised and ever guessing.

Kids can be so cruel... and that was a lesson that Adeline learnt very quickly, and at very young age.
A very curious and outgoing child in the eyes of her mother, and older brother, Pierre; that was the way that Adeline liked to keep it. Even when outside the safety of her family home, or the loving and encouraging environment created by her mothers co-workers at the Moulin Rouge; the other children tore her down and bullied her for being different- for being weird. Not that she could exactly help that. Born completely blind, though doing her best not to let her disability define who she was, she instead threw herself into things she found herself enjoying such as ballet and music rather than focusing on making friends and other social connections. But why would she need them..? She didn't. She had her mother... she had her big brother; and the other children were mean. Picking on her for something she couldn't even control.
All too soon growing into a beautiful young woman, even at only the age of eleven, Adeline rather quickly decided that she didn't want to be what everyone at her school said she was- she didn't want to be a burden. And it was with this resolve that she began to throw all of herself, heart and soul, into taking on more responsibility in her life. Doing everything that she could to help make things easier for her mother, while continuing to keep from her the confirmation that her biggest worry for her daughter was actually a reality. But the longer time went on, the worse things became.
Attempting to fade herself into the background, simply trying to get through each day without too much trouble, Adeline often kept to herself. Hiding herself away in the school library to read or study; it was only when the bullying began to get physical that someone stepped in and attempted to put an end to it. His name was Sawyer Lockwood- at least, that was how he'd introduced himself to her. Very quickly from that first encounter, Sawyer had become a staple in her life- her own personal guardian angel. Protecting her from others; keeping her company. Being her friend- her first friend. He didn't judge her like others did, instead he encouraged her to be herself. And after only a few months of having been in each others lives; Sawyer sat her down with her mother and brother and explained to them the truth about who he was, and why he was there. It was at that point that their Morpheus claimed her as his daughter, and the choice was made that she was to travel to the States with Sawyer; to a safe place where others like them could live and learn together.
To a place called Camp Half-Blood.
Still very young, and only having made it as far as her elementary years in her schooling, Adeline was taken under the wings of many that already called the camp their home. The older demigods working together with Chiron in order to keep her schooling going; though either way, there was a difference. She was welcomed. Slowly opening up to her new life among those she now considers family; Adeline has not only blossomed but also thrived in her new environment. Having both gained and maintained a healthy social life, she lives every day to its fullest and getting into mischief with her three best friends. Thankful for everything she's been given, Adeline now only ever leaves for short periods at a time, and only to visit with her mother back home in Paris.

Sleep Manipulation : ۵ Like most children of the God of dreams; Adeline has a strong hold over the ability to manipulate sleep within both herself and others around her, allowing her to not only induce and extract sleep from a person but to also manipulate and enhance all aspects of sleep itself- the young demigod, though innocent in looks and sweet in nature, is able to manipulate the sleep patterns of a person, as well as be able to choose how long they are able to sleep for and how deep a sleep the person is having. Strong enough to induce not only a deep, but also instantaneous sleep on those around her, even to the extent that she could potentially be able to induce perpetual insomnia or push a demigod into a comatose state; Adeline is also able to both reduce and or remove a person's need for sleep all together, causing them to become dreadfully tired and drowsy at all times- the young child of Morpheus also helpful in the sense that she is able to also awaken a person from any type of sleeping state, regardless of the circumstances.
Dream Walking/ Manipulation : ۵ Both inheriting and managing to master her father's more rare talents, Adeline has the unique ability to enter a world she knows as "The Dream Realm"; allowing her to not only slip in and out of the dreams of others with ease, but also to summon others into that of her own dreams. Along with this form of power, Adeline has also been able to become exceedingly proficient in the ability to manipulate every aspect of the dreams that she finds herself in; giving her the power to bring both the sweetest of dreams to a person, as well as the most terrible of nightmares- however over her time exploring this ability, she has learnt that it also comes with a terribly dangerous side-effect. While moving about the Dream Realm, should a person, including herself get hurt, the injuries sustained would travel through the dreams before transferring out and onto that persons physical body, making this a dangerous ability that she very rarely uses outside of both the trials she holds, and her personal use. This particular ability (mostly) only happening to work if the person contacting/ or being contacted by her, is within the same country as she is, and it is shown that takes quite a lot of her energy to get it to work across oceans; however, the stronger a bond she shares with the person being contacted/ contacting her, the less energy it takes to do so.
Notes About Her Abilities : ۵ Though her disability is rarely ever shown to bother the young demigod; Adeline has found that while she is in the Dream Realm, she is able to see everything with perfect vision- her father's gift to her allowing her to see things that she wouldn't normally be able to see.

Once a beautiful young woman, full of love and life, and considered to be the heart and soul of her group; Erin has since turned cynical in her years. Weary to let anyone, particularly men, get close to her; she instead closes herself off. Putting up a wall that only few persistent, and on occasion, annoying enough have managed to weasel their way past. Not the best when it comes to social situations, unlike in times past, she tends to find herself growing ever increasingly distressed when crowds around her become too large in number. Her anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and constant nightmares causing her to fall back into the dark hole she was once in before being brought to the camp; when left on their own to fester, however, Erin has been known to take it out on herself, and is no stranger to using pain as a means to either help herself feel better, or try to end it completely.
Fiercely independent, and highly mature thanks to all that she's suffered through; the young daughter of Hades has proven herself to be a rather studious individual. A talented artist, not exactly something that she advertises to all, even in her own social circle, Erin enjoys the solace of sitting on her own and simply sketching; though her heart truly lays within the pages of the books she collects and treasures. Shown to be a bit of a book-worm, Erin is a great fan of reading, especially the classics; and is very, though quietly, passionate about love - looking up to and admiring couples much like her father and step-mother, and aspiring to one day, maybe, finding the one person that she's meant to be with. Not that she believes she's worthy of love, or that anyone could ever get past her hard shell and the broken tattered remains of her soul enough to so much as like and accept her in that way. In her eyes, other are destined to fly, while she was meant to stand alone.
Rather observant, Erin nevertheless chooses to play the dumb card when it comes to things such as pop culture and other things that others around her are interested in, referring to it mostly as stupid and a waste of time. And it's her attitude towards it that causes those close to her to do a double take when she surprises them with something proving her attentiveness to their preferences.
Despite her bitchy attitude and sarcastic disposition, Erin does have a softer and more compassionate side to her; not that many get to see it. Fiercely loyal towards those she cares about, she is willing to go to the depths of Tartarus and back for them. Unafraid to get her hands dirty. Keeping this side of herself well hidden, however, Erin has been known to be quite the vengeful individual; having no qualms in holding grudges for long periods of time against those who are responsible, proving to everyone that she isn't one to forgive others so easily.

There's something beautiful about a humble love... one that lasts, even despite it not working out; and that was what Sophia Chase found when she met a man by the name of Hades.
Providing him with a daughter, and knowing that he'd watch over her from afar, the primary school teacher took being a single mother in her stride. And all too soon, almost in the blink of an eye, Erin had gone from a cheeky little toddler to an outgoing young woman; bursting with life, and welcoming of everyone she met. Popular all through her years at school, and only seeming to get even more so as she became a freshman in high school, it didn't take too long for her to figure out that, despite getting along with a lot of people, it was just easier for her to open up and be accepted by the guys, rather than deal with the bitching and nastiness that came with the girls. They didn't do the whole politics thing- they didn't back-stab or manipulate. No. Instead they accepted her with open arms; not expecting anything in return other than for her to be herself. They were goofy, and care-free and fun, and despite the fact that she was the only girl in the group, they couldn't have been any less inseparable; particularly her and her best friend. Brandon Murphy was unlike any of the others, and it only served to bring the two of them closer.
Working her way pretty quickly up the social ladder and hierarchy, even in her first year, it wasn't long before Erin found herself caught in the eyes of one of the top guys - an older guy - at the school. Introduced to one another through Brandon, someone who, at least to her, was more like an older brother; Erin entered into her first real relationship, and she found herself falling hard and fast. The whole thing having her believe that what she was feeling was the real thing, she was more than willing to do anything he wanted as long as it meant that their love was going to last.
Leaving home pretty early on in her relationship, despite the concerns of her mother and her friends, she moved in with him. And while the first few months of her new life was pure bliss; it was not to last.
Ryan's jealousy becoming more and more of a problem; he eventually took a more dominant role in her life. Controlling what she did, where she went, who she saw; and getting rough... violent with her whenever he so much as even thought she was about to question or backtalk him. Finding herself at the receiving end of his abuse, both mental and physical, though unable to convince herself that this wasn't love, Erin's very integrity as a young woman was very quickly torn down; and with each and every little thing she did wrong in his eyes, it only seemed to get worse. But what could she do..? It was her fault after all... or at least, that's what he had her believing. Stuck deep in the cycle of pushing those who cared for her away, and blaming herself; it eventually all came to a head. Suffering worse than ever before, though managing to slip away; bruised, battered, and bloodied almost to the point of being unrecognizable by her mother and her friends, Erin ran.
Claimed by her father the same night she almost died; it was then that the choice for her to be taken to Camp Half-Blood was made.
Escorted all the way to the safety barrier protecting the camp by Brandon and their other friends; Erin said a silent goodbye to them, and the life she used to have. Handed off to a group of strangers - people who were apparently like her - who had come to meet them on Half-Blood Hill. Though she couldn't just go, not without one last look at the people she cared about most. Her eyes meeting with Brandon's, Erin barely had time to register the yells of warning and protest before he had ultimately crossed the safety barrier and entered the camp as though it were nothing.
Now living with her best friend only a few doors down from her cabin, Erin has since remained in the one place. Refusing to leave the camp, other than to spend time with her father in the Underworld. Terrified that the moment she does, her past is going to come after her.

Geokinesis : ۵ Inheriting her father's ability of Geokinesis; Erin is able to control the Earth that surrounds her, whether this be levitating rocks and turning them into a rater deadly projectile, opening large fissures and cracks (both big and small) that can swallow up creatures and others trapping them within the Underworld, or even something of more consequence such as causing earthquakes and tremors with such power (and oftentimes anger) that they are able to cause great damage to both the immediate and surrounding areas, leaving destruction in her wake- her abilities honed enough that she is able to control the black walls of, and create passages within and to the Underworld.
Necromancy : ۵ Taking after her older half-brother, and her father before her; Erin holds a rather strong divine authority, as well as a secure and powerful control over the dead that roam throughout her father’s domain- the young woman never having an issue when it comes to displaying this well-honed and strongly controlled power to the rest of the camp during her birthday, also known as Halloween. Some of her notable abilities being: ∞ Power Over The Undead: Able to not only reanimate skeletons, but also to summon skeletal and spiritual warriors; Erin is shown to hold a vast amount of power and control over her abilities of Necromancy, her inherited skills allowing her to not just put her skeletal and spiritual army to sleep, and also to destroy them at a moment’s notice should she no longer have need of them- however, like her older brother Nico, summoning too many undead at once does indeed drain her of energy, causing fatigue to set in and more times than none, for the Apollo children to get on her case about quitting it with the “Underworld-y stuff” long enough for her to recover. ∞ Summoning Deceased Souls: A skill taught to her by her older half-brother, Nico Di Angelo during a summer spent in the Underworld with their father and step-mother; Erin has become quite proficient at summoning the souls of those who have already passed on from the world- the young demigod (when in a good enough mood while asked) more than happy to help those in the camp contact their loved ones who have moved from life into the Underworld by placing forth an offering (usually happy meals from McDonalds), and calling out to them in Ancient Greek. ∞ Releasing Souls: Though not as skilled in this ability as she is in her other Necromonic powers; Erin is able to release the souls of those who should have long ago died, but who have somehow managed to cheat death in some way, shape or form- the young woman knowing in theory what it is she needs to do, however never actually having needed to, nor had the chance to put it into practice. ∞ Telepathy With The Dead: An ability which is mostly controlled by her emotions; Erin has the power to telepathically communicate with the dead that show themselves to her, and when angry enough or pushed too far, she also has the ability to ward them away from her and others around her by giving off a warning vibe.
Umbrakinesis/ Shadow Travel : ۵ Though having inherited only one of her father’s abilities under the heading of Umbrakinesis; Erin has over her time in the camp become quite skilled in the art of shadow travel, able to use them to transport not only herself, but also others over great distances, however it has been shown that the longer the distance, the stronger the wear and fatigue that befalls her after the journey- however, like with all children of Hades, overexertion of shadow travel can cause her molecular structure to begin to fall apart, gradually turning her into the very shadows themselves, causing her to lose herself, or even on the rare occasion, to enter what is known as a shadow coma.
Infernal Monster Lordship : ۵ The only child of Hades in this generation to inherit this ability; Erin has almost complete control over of the countless ferocious monsters that roam throughout her father’s domain: Cerberus, the Hellhounds, the Furies, the Keres, the Oneiroi, and various Daimons, along with many others who call the Underworld their home- though while not as powerful as her father, Erin still has enough power and skill over this ability that when concentrating hard enough, she is able to summon a small army to her side.
Scales of Balance : ۵ A power gained from her legacy, Nemesis; Erin has the ability to access the scales of balance. Able to see an individuals scales, as well as a groups (both small and large), and the universe as a whole; she often feels the unavoidable urge to balance them, however usually tries to ignore it. It is also because her own scales are so unbalanced negatively that she enjoys spending time with Carlos, as his scales complete hers by being so unbalanced positively.

Jealousy is a funny thing; and when it rears it's head among the Gods, it often leads to trouble.
Already in love, and blessed with a son by the God of War- when Ares approached her for the second time, Seylah didn't so much as question it. Though if there's one lesson to learn in life, it's that you shouldn't blindly accept what's in front of you. Acting out with jealousy, wanting what his father already had; it was Diemos, the God of Terror and Fear, that donned his father's appearance before the mortal woman. And not even a year after the birth of her first son, her second was brought into the world.
And as their little family grew with the addition of yet another child, once more not even a year later, it only helped to cement that which was already obvious. Despite the belief that both boys had the same father, it was clear from the get go that they couldn't have been anymore different from one another.
Growing up alongside his older and younger brothers; it wasn't long before Jaidyn came to the conclusion that there was just something about being born the middle child.
In his own experience, at least with what he'd observed through the years; when you were the oldest, you seemed to develop an attitude towards life that simply screamed the words 'I don't give a fuck'. And if he knew anything, it was that Brandon was the epitome of this fact. Arrogant... cocky. Aside from his best friend, he just didn't seem to care for the opinion of others; he did what he wanted, whenever he wanted, and damn the consequences.
Daniel, having been born the youngest, was the clear favorite of the family. And hell, he was pretty sure that he knew it too. He was the responsible one. The complete opposite of their older brother. Even despite that, in the eyes of their parents, there was no way he could do any wrong.
When you were the middle child, however, you learnt from watching your older sibling, and as an over-correction, you became the people pleaser. The forgotten one. There was nothing special about being the kid stuck in the middle. The one who no one even seemed to realized was suffering until it somehow made its way into the nightly news. Yeah, that was him. But instead of aiming for the news, Jaidyn instead poured his focus into his music.
Spiralling, and winding up having to take medication for depression at age fourteen when his older brother essentially took off- running away to the East Coast with his best friend, Erin Chase; it only served to give Jaidyn more fuel for the fire so to speak. And by the time he was sixteen years old, he'd found his way onto the screen. Making it past several rounds of the music competition show 'Boy Band' before ultimately being beaten out by one of the other contestants for the remaining spot.
That was when he showed up...
Surprised, to say the least, when his older brother came back into his life, seemingly out of the blue; it was then that he finally learnt the truth. The man who had raised them, wasn't their father. Well... not biologically anyway. No, apparently it was some God. Weary, at first, to believe what he was being told, afraid that perhaps Brandon had been pulled into some strange cult; Jaidyn nevertheless agreed to go with his brother. Travelling across the country to the Long Island Sound where he was eventually reunited with an old friend, and welcomed in by others who seemed to call this Camp Half-Blood their home.
Claimed by his true father, Deimos, shortly after entering the camp, stirring up confusion in both the Murphy boys and their friends; Jaidyn and Brandon were separated once again as he moved into cabin twenty-two, and was introduced to his half-brother, Ezra Griesheim, for the first time.
Choosing to spend the remainder of the year getting to know his new family, and learning about his new life and what it all meant; Jaidyn eventually said goodbye. Making the decision to return back to Long Beach at the end of summer in order to continue with high school. Though this time, things were different. He knew who he was- knew who his father was. Learnt a bit about what he could do- and despite the fact that neither of them would confirm it out loud, he wasn't stupid. He knew what had happened to make his brother and Erin leave in the first place.
Spending the year working hard at school, and his summers messing around with his ever growing family at Camp Half-Blood; Jaidyn was sure to make the last two years a literal living nightmare for the one who had driven a wedge between his family in the first place. Taking pleasure in simply watching the prick squirm.
Eventually having to stop, though only once he'd graduated with the rest of the seniors; Jaidyn packed up the majority of his things. Promising his parents to be back for the holidays, and wishing his younger brother good luck for his final year at Delbrook, he set off. Swapping his part-time status for full-time as he returned to camp.

Some of his notable abilities include: ∞ Personal Worst Fear Generation: Much like his siblings; Jaidyn is able to make people live their worst fear through the simple action of making eye contact. However, he can only handle a small handful of people, and prefers to focus on one target at a time if he can. ∞ Terror Generation: Like his father, and his siblings; Jaidyn has the ability to bring overwhelming terror to large crouds, similar to the way his father once brought a large sea monster that served to scare many mortals.
Umbrakinesis/ Shadow Travel : ۵ Like most children of the Underworld, Jaidyn possesses the ability to shadow travel. Allowing him to transport not only himself, but also others over great distances. Though, the further the distance travelled, the more it drains him of his energy.
Natural Born Tracker : ۵ Showing a natural instict and extreme talent inherited from his legacy, and grandfather; Jaidyn has the ability to quite easily track down others (animal, human, God, and monster) over vast distances, varying environments, and conditions. Including targets that can shadow travel, fly, or become invisible. He is able to find and follow tracks that are months, sometimes even years old, and is able reconstruct what has happened from even the smallest of clues.
Reality Warping/ Illusions : ۵ Blessed with only the smallest fraction of Ares ability to warp reality; Jaidyn has the power to not only create, but also shape, and manipulate illusions/ hallucinations. Forcing his target to experience (see, touch, hear, smell, and taste) things that don't actually exist. Able to exist as both physical manifestations or mental perceptions; after using this ability to torment a particular someone for the last two years of his life, Jaidyn's illusions are powerful and realistic, and have become tangible and physical enough that he's able to get them to interact with his target, and their environment.
Weapon Cursing : ۵ Another gift inherited from his legacy; Jaidyn has the power to place curses upon various weaponry in order to trip up and hinder his enemies. However, due to his focus on other abilities, he's only been able to go as far as cursing weapons with misfortune/ bad luck, causing the users to eat dirt.

You'd think that after the first bitch, Hephaestus would have better taste.
Dumped by their mother after birth alongside her older brother; Hayden and Ky' vie were left to be raised by their grandparents. Nevertheless, the older couple did everything they could to provide both children with a happy and loving childhood; and for the most part, it was. Honest and open with both the children from the very beginning about who their parents were, Ky was claimed almost from birth by the God she was able to call her father; and by the time she'd hit the age of three, the natural talents that she had inherited from him, mixed with her own curiosity began to start exasperating those around her. Particularly when her grandfather came in only to find her sitting amidst parts various parts that had once belonged to his cars engine. Rules needed to made- restrictions placed and enforced. She couldn't just go around pulling apart the family car... dishwasher... washing machine... TV... those were things that they needed.
That was when what was once the family garage became Hayden and Ky' vie's workspace.
Their shared talents bringing the siblings even closer together; Ky soon developed into a beautiful and confident young woman under her brother's guidance. Popular among the other at her school from the very outset, it was her strong love of the more 'masculine' things in life - cars, racing, gaming, rough-housing, etc. - that had her forming strong and lasting relationships with the guys around her, rather than the other girls. Eventually making it to the age of twelve without pissing too many people off, or getting into too much trouble; it was then that an unexpected visitor showed up on their doorstep. No; not their mother. As far as Ky was concerned, their mother could go and die in a ditch, and she wouldn't care one iota. Instead, it was their father. Embracing his children with loving arms, and greeting their grandparents like old friends, Hephaestas sat them all down, and in his attempt to help try and make everything easier on the ever growing elderly couple, he offered up a solution. Camp Half-Blood.
Reluctant at first - who wouldn't be..? - Ky' vie eventually agreed to the new arrangement, and saying goodbye to her mates, her family, she left with her brother and her father for her new life in the States. Not taking too long to fall into a steady rhythm, and once again finding herself quickly at the high end of the social ladder. It was only a year after she'd arrived that she found herself entangled in her first ever relationship. Not that it was to last. Zak was a bit of an outsider, even among the demigods; known to have a bit of a temper. And always taught by her older brother to fight and stand up for herself; the second that he laid a hand on her in violence, she retaliated. A black eye for her, broken nose for him, and it was over. She wasn't a push over, and she wasn't about to put up with his shit. Though a pattern was quick to emerge out of it.
Bad boys.
There was just something about them... and like a moth to a flame, she just couldn't help but be drawn to them.
Entering into a new relationship with one of her closest friends at the time, even before the black eye had time to go down, Ky and Derek were near inseparable. Perfect. And as their one year anniversary drew around, their tight-knitt group decided to toss all caution to the wind. Packing up their shit and piling into the car that she hadn't long finished building, they set out to travel. Unknowingly putting a target on their backs which, inevitably, landed them in trouble beyond anything they could have ever imagined. Ate - the Goddess of delusion, infatuation, blind folly, rash action and reckless impulse - teaching them that they needed to be far more careful in the future.
But you know what they say; kick a girl while she's down. When it rains; it pours- but what Ky' vie got was straight up monsoon season.
Still recovering from the injuries she'd sustained from Ate's little games, Ky' vie and Hayden got news from their uncle back home. There had been an accident. Their grandparents taken from them, Ky took the blow hard, and it only caused to stress her already strained relationship. But how could it not..? The people who'd raised her- who loved her despite everything... they were gone... and they were never coming back. Making the choice to fly back to their home country in order to attend the funeral, and to help set their late grandparents affairs in order; Hayden and Ky' vie returned back to the camp, though this time, they had their cousin Samuel in tow. However, on coming back, she found herself faced with the fact that her relationship, much like a volcano, had blown. Learning about Derek's 'extra-curricular' activities, she lost it. Busting his lip open, and dislocating his jaw; Derek was quick to brand her a psycho, and before they had a chance to have it out completely, he left. Returning back home to Rome.
And just like that, it was the beginning of the end. One by one, the group that had once been oh so close to one another fell apart, and lost contact. Some returning home... some not making it back from quests... But while she never forgot; life continued to on. And just as they all left, new faces took their place. Siblings, friends- best friends. Hell, even a new man in her life. Whether it's going to last or not... just have to wait and see.

Technokinesis : ۵ Taking after her half-brother when it comes to her rather impressive mechanical abilities; Ky' vie is able to skillfully manipulate machines and technology by physically animating, controlling, and communicating with them. Allowing her to manipulate an extensive amount of machines and technology including things like lamps, vacuums, computers, ect. One of the most experienced and skilled in the Hephaestus cabin; Ky is able to understand and sense machinery. And has the rare talent of being able to expertly operate machines in which she had no prior knowledge or experience with; allowing her to do things such as instinctively fly or drive any mechanical vehicle proficiently, including cars, boats, trains, helicopters, and more.
Mechanical Knowledge : ۵ Born with an innate mechanical knowledge base; Ky' vie is able to sense faults in metal ore, and can identify different types of machinery and it's use with a simple touch. Also able to sense particular types of mechanical traps, she is capable of disabling even the most complex of her fathers designs when others might find it impossible.
Pyrokinesis : ۵ The first after her older half-brother, Leo Valdez, to master the dangerous and extremely unpredictable ability of pyrokinesis; Ky' vie is able to proficiently generate, manipulate, and control fire. Allowing her to do something as small as lighting a candle, or something much grander like covering her entire body with white-hot flames. Tied in heavily to her emotions; under any normal circumstances, Ky is able to both create things as fireballs, firebolts, fire blasts, etc., and when concentrating enough, impressively large and intense columns of fire. Because of this ability, Ky' vie tends to run a little warmer than most, and has, on the rare occassion, woken to find reptiles and cats curled up around her, seeking heat.
Divine Beauty : ۵ A blessing bestowed to her by her legacy, and step-mother; Ky' vie possesses a divine beauty that rivals even that of the children of Aphrodite. Her supernaturally enhanced appearance always keeping her physically perfect, graceful and flawless, without anything that would make her look unattractive or distract from her presence. Though this isn't to say that her beauty doesn't have a downfall. While Ky is able to go about her day without fear of gaining weight, scarring, or showing any blemish on her skin (brusing, pimples, etc.); it also, at times, makes it hard to distinguish if she needs medical help when there is no physical sign.

Between a fragile nature, and a hardened warrior; the choice was a no brainer.
A perfect match for the Roman God of war; it was the Amazonian's fighting spirit and fearlessness that led to the passionate love affair that very quickly followed after the two came face to face for the first time. Drawn to each other time and time again, it was all too soon that the pair were blessed with a child. Bringing Octavia into the world, and already with a great weight to bear upon her shoulders.
Raised by her parents to be a warrior, and Queen; Octavia was given no passes in life. Treated no differently to any of the others in her tribe, she had to fight. Working hard and pushing herself every day to her very limits in order to prove herself, and to earn her place in the world. Skilled far beyond her years should have allowed, and managing to earn her markings before reaching her teens; it was on her eighth birthday when the tribe could teach her nothing more that the choice was made to send her Camp Jupiter where she would continue to learn under the watchful eye of her aunt, Reyna.
Packing her things, and saying goodbye to the only family she had ever known; Octavia travelled with her father to Wolf House in order to begin her new life.
Presented to Lupa, the Roman wolf Goddess; it was only upon being judged worthy that she was welcomed into the Goddesses pack as one of her cubs. And branded with the mark of camp Jupiter, her father, and her uncle; Octavia made the rest of her journey to the camp on her own. Eventually coming face to face with that aunt that she had never before met. Her mother and father had been strict- Reyna was far more so, and even worse on her. Family, it seemed, got held at a far higher standard; and her aunt expected more.
Pushed further and harder than ever before; Octavia thrived in her new environment. Coming into her own, though on a whole new level, it was soon very clear that despite never having met, she had managed to inherit some of her aunts traits. And as the years passed, having gained the respect of her superiors & fellow legionairs, she followed in Reyna's footsteps. Bringing glory to her father's name as she proudly took the position of Praetor alongside her shield-brother.
Dutifully serving Rome for six years, start to finish, it was in the span of a single meeting that her life was about to change forever. Called before Lupa, Octavia found herself face to face with the infamous alumni, Greek and Roman, of the Second Demigod Civil War. In order to keep the future from repeating the mistakes of the past, relations between the camps needed to be maintained, and evidently, they believed her to be the best soldier for the job.
Reluctant, though agreeing for the sake of Rome; Octavia packed her belongings, saying her goodbyes. And for the third time in her life, she relocated. Travelling across the country to the Long Island Sound- to Half-Blood; a place she never wanted anything to do with.
And why would she..?
With everything that she'd been taught; the Greeks were unorganized. Lazy. They were beneath her. And it was for the longest of times that she couldn't keep the contempt from crossing her features whenever she was near any of them. How was she supposed to maintain good relations between the camps if she couldn't even stand to be there in the first place..? It was impossible.
But there's a funny little thing that happens as time passes... and that's that things change.
For her..? It was crossing paths with Bronwyn Knowles, and Cyrus Starr.
Not realizing just how important to her they were going to be when she first let the pair in; it was simple act of meeting them that changed her life, and more importantly, her perspective. Opening up to others calling the camp home with their encouragement, she very quickly found herself fitting in more. It was... strange. And for the first time ever, she was questioning her upbringing. Discipline was good; sure, but what's the point in life if you never really get to live it..?
That's what the Greeks were doing.
Now with three wonderful years under her belt at Camp Half-Blood, and surrounded by the friends she once dreamed she'd never have; Octavia has found her place in the world. Making both her parents proud, and keeping the peace between the two camps all the while standing side by side with her brothers, her friends, and her now, boyfriend.

Telumkinesis : ۵ Born to Mars as a daughter of war, Octavia has a vast and great amount of control and power over weapons of all and any kind that she wields; the young woman able to not only conjure and use any weapon presented to her, but also able to identify different types of weaponry and it's use/ how to use it with just a simple touch. Exceedingly competitive and prideful, especially against the males; Octavia is able to not only quickly disarm her opponents in order to render them hapless, but also has the ability to curse the weapons of those she finds herself and her cohort up against in a fight.
Odikinesis : ۵ Showing more vulnerability to suggestible emotions such as pure hatred, blind rage, and unadulterated anger; Octavia has a strong and powerful control over the feelings and emotions that come with the trials of war, and is able to easily induce and cause them to stir to life within others in order to start fights.
Ares Battle Cry/ Powerful Roar : ۵ A warrior like her father and siblings, and one with an extremely powerful set of lungs on her, Octavia has the ability to project her voice out in the form of a loud battle cry/ roar - similar to the scream of a banshee from Irish Mythology.
Tracking Skills : ۵ A talent nurtured by even her mother, Octavia is a natural tracker; though while in the camp she rarely gets her chance at using this skill.
Enhanced Speed & Athletics : ۵ As a legacy of the God of Travel and messengers, Octavia possesses naturally enhanced athletic ability, and is able to move faster than a normal child of Ares can.

Characters must be OC; we shall not be accepting any cannon characters in this roleplay. Characters are not strictly limited to demigods, this roleplay will also be accepting characters who are Satyrs, Amazons', Nymphs' and Cyclops'; and while each demigod is not bound to one continent for the their place of origin, it is a must that they be affiliated with the Greek Pantheon. While both Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter are brother camps with one another, with both have affiliations with the Gods and Goddesses; it's a rare occurrence for a demigod to transfer from one camp to the other, though it is not unheard of.
When it comes to making children of the big three (Zeus, Poseidon and Hades), there is a limit of two children at a time for each of them. This limit is inclusive for demigods of both camps; so for example, if you have one child of Hades from Camp Half-Blood, and then one child of Pluto from Camp Jupiter who has transferred from one camp to the other, the limit will have been reached.
Those of you wishing to play Gods and Goddesses must demonstrate a strong writing ability - good grammar, punctuation, etc. - and must please message me with the following: Name of the God/ Goddess you are interested in playing, a brief description of their personality/ how you intend to play them, and a sample post as that particular diety. All applications will be considered by both myself and my Co-GM's. If the character is accepted, then you shall be notified as soon as possible.

Camp Half-Blood welcomes and takes in demigods of many ages, though that isn't to say that there isn't a limit. Demigods who are able to call, and who consider the camp their home usually range between the ages of eleven to twenty-five before choosing to move on- usually either venturing out into the real world, or making a home for themselves in New Rome. Should there be extenuating circumstances, however, it comes to the disgression of the counselors, Chiron and Lord Dionysus on whether they allow demigods in at ages younger than eleven. Such a thing has been done before.
Should demigods hit the age of twenty-five and come to the conclusion that they wish to remain within Camp Half-Blood, they should seek out and talk to Chiron and Lord Dionysus about joining the camp as a staff member. Should they get permission, they then have the choice of moving into the Big House with the rest of the faculty members.

This roleplay has a limit of five characters at the maximum; however, if you feel more comfortable with only one or two, that's more than fine as well. Don't feel obligated to bite off more than you can chew.
Our characters are an extention of us; and just like us, they aren't perfect. Please keep that in mind during the creation process. We like to see their flaws, because it's in our flaws that we learn.
All face-claims must be real people; we shall not be accepting any art or anime style face-claims.

Ever since the very beginning of summer, something strange seemed to be happening to the demigods of Camp Half-Blood, and now, two figures have appeared and seem to be watching the camp and everyone in it from afar. But not only the camp- they seem to be everywhere. Whether it's in Italy while a certain group of demigods risk their lives to catch a bird, or all the way in Australia while another group attempts to hastily convince one of their own to join them in the safety of the camp. But no matter where you see them, they seem to be shrouded in darkness; their faces unseen.
Are they Gods..? Demigods..?
The real question is: What do they want..? And how far are they willing to go...

Camp Half-Blood has been blamed for having one of their campers steal Lady Aphrodite's most prized pet, and Godly symbol; her dove. But no one knows who... For days on end, the Goddess has been sobbing in the arms of her beloved, causing the always calm weather of the camp to wane and to fluctuate; the normally thriving crops and vines, now wilting and in danger of dying altogether. Storm clouds and lightning begin to roll in and take over the skies, mostly due to Lord Zeus' discontent and slight frustration at his darling daughter's behavior; the Goddesses sadness and woe causing her beloved Lord Ares to stir, and become riled up. Demanding punishment to be served to the one responsible for making his Goddess shed a tear. The storm is brewing, and getting worse by the minute, with no sign of it stopping anytime soon; especially not after the meeting of the Gods. An accusation made, and judgement passed; it's time for the demigods to step up and fix the problem at hand, or else face the wrath of Ares.
The camp is split down the middle... The Aphrodite, Ares, Zeus, Demeter (mainly due to the death of their beloved crops), Poseidon and Apollo children are all pointing fingers and throwing their accusations, causing a heavy tension to rise over towards the children of Athena, Hermes, Hephaestus, Hades, ect. But little do the demigods of Camp Half-Blood know... The Goddess' precious little dove is being taken first class over the sea, and towards the leaning tower of Pisa itself... where a particular minor Goddess of Strife, discord and rivalry, Eris, lay in wait for those who believe themselves brave enough to step into her little game; the Goddess kept company by her trusty side-kick and companion, Tityos (Τίτυος), the giant slain by both Apollo and Aretmis after he attempted to violate their mother, Leto.

Angered at having been thwarted by a bunch of meddlesome demigods; the Goddess Eris vanished from the tower of Pisa within nothing but a threat, leaving the group to nervously pondering the Goddesses next move. Wanting to do nothing more than cause pain and heartache due to her humiliating defeat, the deity fled Europe, returning once more to the western world where she hid in wait upon Half-Blood Hill, biding her time, and waiting for the right victim to come along so that she could finally enact her plan of revenge.
Happy, cheerful, and completely unaware of what was going on outside the safety of the camp, the young daughter of Morpheus continued on with her life, wandering around the camp in order to find her brother's missing pup after accidentally letting him out... again. Taking the opportunity presented to her, Eris watched on, waiting until the young girl had completely crossed through the barrier before she pounced- stealing away with the child of dreams, and stashing her far from where any interfering hero wannabes would ever find her.

Ready to throw a spanner in the works, so to say, and try once more to knock the daughter of Hephaestus down a peg or two. Taking a page out of her mother's book; Ate appeared before the camp, presenting them with the infamous golden apple of discord, and stating clear for all that the apple is "for the most beautiful" before disappearing completely, leaving the apple in her wake.
Caught under the apple's spell; desire flickers through the female campers who lay eye upon it. With all the girls in camp arguing over who should receive the apple; tensions begin to rise, and battle seems imminent- a war not only fought by the women of Camp Half-Blood, but also with the threat of Camp Jupiter and the Amazons involvement. With all but one of the daughters of the Gods and Goddesses out for the count; it's up to the men of the camp to find a solution before the bickering and cat fights grow bigger, threatening the camp with the next Trojan War.

Quite a few years has passed since the accident… The road-trip that though started as an innocent idea to go back home to visit family with some friends, ended up going horribly wrong… and even with her injuries long ago healed, the friends she once held dear to her heart now all moved away, and the memories of horrible events locked back in the recesses of her mind where she never again wants to think about them; Ky has finally managed to completely move on, and once again live a normal life surrounded by her friends and family within the camp- but little does she know that the game is far from being over.
Born with the desire to, like her mother before her, spread nothing but chaos and have a little bit of fun while doing so; the Goddess Ate hates beyond anything else to lose, especially at a game of her own design. Watching on from afar as one by one each of her original little ‘toys’, except for one, cut their strings and left the nest; Ate sat in wait, patiently biding her time while daughter of Hephaestus chose to put that part of her past behind her, and form new and strong bonds with others who, over the years, made their way to Half-Blood. Though those days are now long gone, and with the Goddess growing bored once again, her attention once more lingers upon the demigods of the camp; and much like a kid in a toy store, the desire to play seems just too strong to deny.
Get ready… it’s time for round two to begin…

"Puh-lease..." She couldn't help it- Eretria chuckled. And with the bell like ring; the sound of her voice, as playful and as teasing as it almost always was with close friends, was once again filling the air between them. Her head giving a light shake from side to side. The motion causing her vibrant orange locks to sway back and forth behind her, while her hands drew together in front of her stomach. Occupying themselves by playing gently with the hem of her top as she spoke, "We both know that Ignatius is about as fickle as trends are... And I mean that in the most loving of ways, I assure you. It just makes him hard to predict, even in his most reliable of moments sometimes. And I know unpredictable. I scry with fire."
As her friends phone was once again fished out of her pocket; her bright eyes were drawn down to the screen. And in particular, her gaze fell to the time that flashed across it as Ana's thumb pressed against the lock button along the side of the device. Lighting it up, even for the briefest of moments, so the girl could better see any notifications she had recieved in the last few minutes. Gods... how quickly time was passing on her today. Though despite all that she'd done- despite the fact that she was late for her responsibilities to both the school and her squad; she felt no regret. Not a single one. And then again, why would she..? Could you really consider time to be wasted if you enjoyed wasting it in the first place..?
It was definitely an interesting question to pose; and she couldn't deny that she was more than curious to find out her friends opinions.
Forcing herself to depart that particular train of thought, and to instead come back to the present; Tria cast another glance over to where she had last seen Nora standing. Unsure whether or not the girl wished to be alone, or if she wanted some company, even if it was just for a short spell. Sometimes, she had to admit, it was a tad hard to read Nora. But she knew the girl well enough to know that when and if she was ready, she would approach.
Hands breaking apart; she once again lifted it. Giving another small wave towards Nora in an attempt to gain her attention long enough, Tria lifted herself up and onto the balls of her feet. Using them to keep herself balanced as she motioned over the crowd and towards the booths- and, in particular, towards the area she knew that the cheerleading booth had been set up. Wanting to make sure she knew just where to find her before she turned back to Anastasia. Her free hand reaching out to take hold of hers, she gave it a light tug.
"Come on. Iggie can catch up with us at the booth. We should meet up with the others."
Voice catching in her throat as she attempted some semblence of an answer; all Sasha seemed capable of doing, at least in that moment, was to stare into the mirror in front of her. Gaze focused on her own reflection. Everyone had those moments... The ones where you wished all so desperately that you could just go back in time in order to undo those mistakes. To take back that choice. This moment..? This was most definitely one of those times for her. And it was as soon as she'd sliced through her hair with the blades of her scissors, that the regret washed over her like a tidal wave trying to drag her under.
Trying to change what she'd done... well, it was like chasing clouds.
It simply couldn't be done.
Not wanting to- or, perhaps, not *able* to look at herself any longer than she already had; Sasha tore her gaze away from her reflection and the horrible, jagged cut she'd created. Instead letting it draw across. Turning her head along with it until she was able to look up at her best friend. Her lower lip quivering slightly, "..i-it was falling out..."
Reaching towards Sawyer as he darted away; Eretria let her mouth close. Her hand lingering in air a few moments longer than it should have, even after it was more than clear that he was long gone, and that he wasn't coming back any time soon. And really, she wasn't sure why it surprised her in the slightest. Even the softest whisper of food, and you would have Sawyer's attention. It was a spell that even she couldn't hope to break. It ensnared him in something she could only describe as a kind of trance-like state, and before you knew what had happened, it was luring him away. At least, that was, until his stomach was satified and he'd had his fill; though you could never be sure just when that was.
Honestly... sometimes she had to wonder if Spider Man was an appropriate alter ego for him. There were times when it seemed like Kid Flash was better suited. And why not..? Zipping off and stuffing his face did seem to be one of his specialties after all.
The gentle bell-like sound of her voice filling the air as she chuckled; Tria shook her head lightly. Her long orange-red locks bouncing gently over her back with the action. Her hand, having fallen during her thought process, drew across to meet the other in front of her stomach; and in mere moments, she was toying with the end of her sleeves. Biting down gently upon her lower lip as her bright gaze darted about the rest of the group surrounding her; searching - lazily at first, before she began to look around a bit more actively - for the familiar faces of her friends and team mates. If she was being honest with herself, she should have already been with them, but-...
Forcing herself to part with that particular train of thought, at least for the time being; she slid her foot back. Her body giving a quarter turn as she glanced back in the direction she'd come from. Glad that she had as her smile grew; reaching the corners of her eyes, and helping to brighten her features as she spied a few of the people she had been looking for not moments before, "Asia..!"
The hem of her skirt brushing back and forth against her thighs, it wasn't long before she was wrapping her arms around the back of her friends neck. Her lips pressing lightly against Anastaia's cheek; she took a single step back. Letting her arms fall until she was able to reach out and take a gentle hold of the girls hands in her own, "Have I mentioned lately how much I love you..? I mean, seriously. Not only did you help me convince the team to meet up, during the last week of summer no less, for practice; but you also recorded it. You're just... amazing. A life saver. Hands down. There's just, no other words for it. Fingers crossed though that Ig didn't forget to watch it, and he gets what I was trying to tell him about the transitions..."
Her gaze trailing away, taking a moment to absentmindedly look over the others around them; Eretria's smile only seemed to brighten further as she caught sight of yet another friendly face stood not far from where she currently was. And letting a hand drop away from Ana's; she instead raised it to give a quick wave over to Nora. Letting the girl know exactly where she was as she once more began to speak. Her attention eventually drawing back to Anastasia.
"By the way... have you actually seen Ig..? I'd message him, but there's like an eighty percent chance I left my phone in my bag; which is in my locker... or like, a twenty percent chance that I may have actually left it at home, on my desk... I don't remember which..."
"I can't believe you'd skip breakfast, Damien. Hey, any specific recommendations from Brandon?"
His mouth opening slightly in an attempt to respond; it was not moments later that Damien was closing it again. The many voices of both his friends and his team mates coming at him from all sides, and all he could manage to do was smile. Hands slipping down into the pockets of his jeans as he cast a glance towards his best friend. Sharing a glance with Danny until the vibration of his phone against his hand caught hold of his attention. Causing him to pull it from his pocket so he could read the message he'd been sent.

The frown already crossing over his features as he turned himself away from the group; Damien's brows furrowed together. His jaw clenching slightly, and the worry already bubbling away in the pit of his stomach as he cast his gaze about. Looking over the many faces surrounding him as he searched for the familiar one that belonged to his younger sister. Though when he couldn't see her, his eyes were drawn back down to the phone in his hands.
Taking a moment to read the messages over for what was the second time since she first received them; Sasha lowered her phone down. Placing it on the counter beside the basin, and her hand lingered over it. Covering the screen even long after the device had timed out and locked itself. Drama; theater... that was one particular obstacle that she just wasn't exactly ready to face yet. Or, if she was being completely honest with herself, Mandy was what she wasn't ready to face- who she wasn't ready to face. It didn't matter that, despite being the complete opposite of one another, the two of them had been close friends since their freshman year; Amanda had alway seemed to hold her at a higher standard to others. And besides... like the message said; she didn't like surprises.
The sooner that bandaid was ripped off, the better.
A heavy sigh falling out through her lips; she couldn't help the way she physically winced as she returned her dark gaze to the mirror in front of her. Staring for a moment at her reflection looking back at her. She looked like shit. Or, at the very least, that's how she saw herself. The growing bags under her eyes... the way she'd lost some color in her cheeks- all she could say was thank the Gods for make up. Even if it meant that she was wearing more than she normally would.
Hand lifting from the counter, her head turning slightly to the side as she once again ran her fingers back through her long dark hair; it took the familiar ping of a message coming though on her phone not once, but twice, to pull her attention away from yet another lock as it fell so easily away from her skalp. Her eyes drawing across until they were once more resting on her mobile; and once she let the strands fall into the sink in front of her, Sasha reached over to check her messages.
She knew if she kept her waiting for much longer, the girl was going to go out of her mind with worry. For Sam, that was pretty much the normal; though she had to admit that ever since her best friend had found out about everything that was going on with her, that worry had pretty much tripled overnight.

Lowering her phone back down, Sasha once more turned her attention back to her own reflection. Only able to stand looking at it for a few moments longer before she was forcing open her bag. Rummaging around the contents; it wasn't long before the light in the bathroom hit the metal blades of her scissors. And without giving it so much as a second thought, grabbing a fairly decent chunk of her hair, she began to cut through it. Letting the clippings fall into the sink below.
First she was losing Brandon to a damn pigeon; and now-...? Lost in her own mind; Ky’ vie let out a heavy sigh. The soft little beeps and chirps from her Vector as it attempted to gain her attention, though it was doing little more than falling on deaf ears as she absentmindedly spun her pencil. Her gaze staring blankly at nothing in particular.
Work was supposed to be a distraction- something to help get her mind off of the worry that had been tugging at the end of her every thought. There were just so many names being called- too many names for it to be something so easily mistaken as trouble from some simple childish pranks around the camp. No. They were being sent out. And along with the campers already going out on this big quest-... There were just so many of them… and there were just so many things that could go wrong. It wasn’t as though it was a secret; it was simple fact and common knowledge.
More demigods equaled more danger.
Snapped back to reality by the sound of a familiar voice calling out to her; forced back from her thoughts, Ky’ vie sat herself up. Her lips parting slightly at the seam as she gazed towards the main part of her workspace. More visitors..? Her siblings she expected; Brandon she understood… but who the hell else managed to make their way into the bunker..?
Placing her pencil down on the table as she twisted on the stool; she slid off it and back onto her feet. Surprise crossing over her features as she let herself follow the sound of her name, only to have her gaze fall upon the figure of one of her best friends, “..Brynn..? How the fuck did you get in here..?”
It wasn't long before Brynn could see just how different Corona's and Ky'vie's work spaces were. Where Rona's level seemed to be strewn with several blueprints, tools and a good handful of unfinished projects, Ky's level seemed to have a certain kind of order to it. Everything seemed to be laid out in it's own special place. Sure there were a few, what seemed, forgotten things littering the work tables.. but you definitely wouldn't have trouble finding what you were looking for, though she was sure there was some method to Rona's bunker level madness.
The dark-haired daughter of Athena was busy eyeing the exceptionally large spaceship that filled up quite a bit of space in the room she was in when she picked up footsteps approaching, turning her head still eyeing the ship a moment longer before they too followed, landing on Ky'vie. She was right. A wide smile spread across the girls lips, mouth opening a bit as she began to say something but Ky beat her to the punch, quickly shutting her mouth again. Brynn bit down on her lower lip shyly, brushing a strand of loose hair behind her ear before she spoke up.
"Oh, well... your sister brought Pierre and I down to her level, and I.. well, I heard the news and just wanted to, you know, come check on you. Made a calculated guess. Since there are only fifty floors, there was only one thing to do. Flip your favorite number, obviously." The brunette shrugged her shoulders, slipping her hands into her back pockets as her eyes began to wander around the room again.
"Honestly, I think I'm a little hurt that your sister who I hardly know invited me here first before you invited me." Brynn once more turned her grey eyes on her best friend, giving her a playful sneer.
“Don' read too far into it. I haven' even let Grey down here.” Relaxing, visibly, as she slipped her hands around and down into the back pockets of her shorts; Ky' vie made her way forward. Closing the gap between her and one of her two best friends. Of course Rona, of all people, would be the one to let Brynn loose in the bunker; not that it was a bad thing. Hell, the company was nice to have, especially at the moment, “..woulda done it eventually... but I will admit it's nice you're here.”
"It's alright, I know it's not personal. Even if you never did, I wouldn't mind. You know that." Brynn flashed Ky a small smile, turning her eyes back to the projects around her. "So, what's been your latest obsession?"
“Elthree - my artificial intelligence...” A small smile crossing over her lips; Ky' vie's eyes seemed to sparkle slightly as she answered the question. Her passion for her work shining through as she spoke to her friend about one of the things she loved most, “..she's is my next step when it comes to finishing up the Falcon. But she's going to be far more diverse than just that. Beau is going to help test out her limits as a more personable A.I - kinda like Jarvis from Iron Man.”
Brynn's eyebrows raised at the mention of Ky's most recent project. The progress she'd made on it and where she planned to take it, it all sounded like so much fun to work on. A bit of a smirk crept up on Brynn's lips at the thought of the A.I.'s name. Since getting into Star Wars, she must have just gone off on a mission to create everything she possibly could from the movies. The one thing she was most surprised not to see was a blaster or two, knowing her friend well enough to know she loved firearms. Perhaps she had one and just had it tucked away somewhere. Hell, she wouldn't put it past her.
"That's really cool. Fully-functioning A.I. in the Falcon. It's too bad they couldn't make it work in the movies like that. Poor Elthree. She was my favorite from the Solo movie."
Brynn turned her gaze back to her friend, a playful smile forming on her face. "You made Elthree but not Jarvis.. you sure you're okay? Maybe it's a bit stuffy down here and you need some air." Brynn giggled softly, her features lighting up as she joked with her best friend.
Chuckling softly, her head shaking causing her long vibrant red locks to sway lightly with the action; Ky' vie show her friend a look. A definite smirk playing over her dark red lips, “Oh, please... who said I haven't made Jarvis..?”
Arm lifting into the gap between them; she let her fingers curl and uncurl a few times. Beckoning for the girl to follow after her as began off back towards the area of her workspace that she'd actually been occupying before Brynn's arrival had caught her attention. Her hand making a half-hearted motion towards the screens littered around the computer lab, “If you want to be technical about it... no. I haven't physically made an A.I by that name; but when you think a little deeper though, you'll actually come to the realization that I have made him. In order to get Elthree to function in the way that I need her to for my current project; I'm merging concepts from both Star Wars and Marvel to get the desired outcome...”
Reaching her hand forward, her fingers danced lightly over the keyboard. The practiced strokes bringing the coding that she'd done up so that Brynn could take a look at it should she wish to, “He's there, just in the skeleton of Elthree... when the time comes that I need him; all I have to do is duplicate those parts and piece him together.”
Brynn smirked lightly, shaking her head at the red-haired girl as she followed her friend deeper into her workspace. The young daughter of Athena watched her friend work her magic over her shoulder, watching the screen as she spoke. Well, of course technically speaking the programming could just as easily fit to be Jarvis with a simple modification to the A.I.'s name. Brynn chuckled softly, coming up behind her friend to rest her chin on her shoulder to look at her creation.
"Technicalities." Stepping back and away from Ky, she playfully jabbed her in her side with her finger with a giggle. "I think you take this nerd stuff way too seriously. Don't get me wrong, it's very interesting. I just.. don't understand the whole... obsession behind it." There was a short pause as Brynn looked at her friend before she spoke again, adding, "Then again, what you guys geek out over is kind of like me with different types of weapons, I suppose." Brynn sheepishly half-smiled at her friend.
Obsession was such a strong word... enthusiastically passionate was a far kinder way of putting it. But either way, she wasn't about to hold it against the girl- she never could. Especially since, at this point anyway, it was more like playful banter between siblings. A soft chuckle passing through her dark red lips; Ky' vie turned herself around on the spot. Body falling back until she was resting against the edge of the table that housed a decent amount of her equipment, she folded her arms over her chest. Giving her friend a gentle smile and a light shrug of her shoulders.
“I dunno; I guess it's just... hard to explain... but then, my 'obsessions', as you put it, are very different from either of my brothers. So... I get your point.”
The gentle buzzing of her phone in her pocket calling for her attention; Ky straightened up slightly. Her lips parting ever slightly at the seam first before she reached into jacket, pulling it out so that she could glance over the message that popped over on the screen. A retrieval quest she might be interested in..? Brow quirking lightly as she read over the text for a second time; she let her gaze draw back over to Brynn, “Hey... you have any clue about this retrieval quest that Grey's meant to be going on..? He just text me saying I might be interested in joining...”
Greyson was going on a quest..? Was the first she heard of it. The girl shook her head as she glanced at Ky's phone before fishing out her own. No texts had been received.
"No. I didn't even know he was going out on a quest." Brynn's brow furrowed as she stood there wondering what the quest could be that Ky would be interested in. There were a number of possibilities. Folding her arms over her chest, Brynn raised an eyebrow at Ky.
"Wanna go see what's up? He's probably already at the cabin if he's texting you. That, or they're on the move and he's trying to pull you in last second."
Okay... so, Brynn knew nothing about what was going on either. At least they were on equal footing when it came to information, or, to put it more accurately, the lack there of. Nodding her head lightly, the stray strands of her long, vibrant red locks falling down over her features; Ky' vie gave a light tap against the lock button on the side of her phone. Slipping it back into the recesses of her jacket pocket as she pushed herself away from where she'd been leaning, “..yeah... Yeah. Let's go find out what's going on. Can't say the bloke hasn't caught my attention, that's for sure."
Tearing her gaze away from the girl, though only long enough to look about the monitors and take the necessary amount of steps to close the distance between where she was and where the light switch was; she reached forward and flicked them off, “Who knows... maybe he's finally whisking me away to England where I can get my engineering hands on that Royal carriage that belongs to his grandma.”

The mere thought had a small, almost shadow of a smile dancing across her lightly glossed lips, and she refrained from chuckling. Keeping things interesting while everyone was gone... it wasn't a hard sell. In fact, in her own opinion anyway, it wasn't exactly something that was very hard to achieve. Even if you followed a routine of sorts; no two days were ever really the same in camp. They always had their little surprises. And while she was sad to so much as think that her friends were all leaving to go on dangerous quests, there was that little part of her that was excited to see what was going to happen during their absence.
"..bad timing..?"
Giving a light shrug of her shoulders; Adeline let her head drop back until she felt the firm surface of the window sill resting against the back of her skull. Fingers curling and uncurling in a slow repeditive motion as she continued to gently stroke her pet's fur. Her gorgeous blue eyes lingering in the direction that she could hear her brother's voice coming from, "..I don't really think that it's too strange or out of the ordinary... there is always more than one quest going on at a time, especially during the summer. If there wasn't any quests at all, then I'd be worried... well, I mean... more than I already am... I-... I think it's just because there's a lot happening on the first day... everyone is only just coming back to camp..."

Join him in things that he liked, or even bring him here..? The sigh that escaped Octavia's lips was slow, and she slumped further down against the tree they were both leant against. It was definitely a thought, though it wasn't as though she hadn't tried- on the contrary, she'd tried to get through to Talon on multiple occassions, and in multiple different ways. Nothing ever seemed to work, but... she was willing to give it another go. Besides, what was the worst that could happen; he punched her in the face..? Wouldn't be the first time, and she was pretty sure it wouldn't be the last either.
"..I guess..."
Hand lifting from her side; she ran her fingers back through her long dark locks. Brushing them back and off her face before allowing her body to fall gently to the side. Head drawing to a tilt, and it wasn't too much longer before she brought it to a rest over his shoulder. Her vibrant forest greens slowly closing as she curled into him for the comfort that she knew for a fact he would give her. Despite their rather... rocky start; she knew she could always rely on Cyrus. He'd been there for her from the very beginning, and he was stubborn enough that she knew he would be there for her all the way through to the end as well. It was all just a part of that funny little hero complex he seemed to have.
Superman was definitely a fitting nickname for him.
"..the tower was over and Dionysus dropped a bomb on us..." Voice soft, almost nothing more than a mumble; Octavia eventually opened her eyes. Staring out at the forest that spanned before them, though it was clear that she wasn't exactly paying any real attention to anything that was there, "..dad has accused Erin of stealing my step-mother's dove... she has seven days to return it, or he's going to kill her; though I'm pretty sure the camp is ready to wage war against him if it comes down to it... add to it the fact that a large number of campers were just called to Dionysus' office for what I assume is another quest... and on top of that-..."
Pausing a moment, letting another sigh, softer this time, pass out through her lips, she lifted her head. Letting her gaze meet with his, "..on top of that... remember the guy I was dating in New Rome..? Aurelius..? Well, he showed up at my cabin door today... and I don't know what to think..."
